Look, we use castanets and guitars too. It's not too bad as they mix Celtic sounds with guitar and so... Like, stop worrying about that stuff. Nothing is going to disappear.
+xantyleonhart I never really considered the celtic part. I thought Galacia was Spain + Portugal = Galacia and it's language. I guess it makes sense since Ireland is directly above that area.
Why this Documentary remarks the false Story of the Armada defeated by Drake when it never even made its way to Ingland and was destroyed by a Storm and it doesn't refer to the Historic act of Heroism made by Maria Pita who stabbed to Deat one of Drakes Capitans and started a popular rebellion which defeated an invasion led by Drake which ended with nearly 60 English Vasels either captured or Sunk by the Spanish. HOW COMES PROPAGANDA BECOMES substite to Hystory
I WANNA GO, IVE BEEN SPEAKING GALACIAN SOMEHOW.. I THINK IM JUST AN OLD SOUL, BUT IDK. IM DEFINITELY GONNA MASTER IT WITH THE RATE IM GOING, HAHA, VRI CON SA TA LE
That's interesting Vigo is Spain's version of Liverpool, England, except the Scousers have a better Football team....... One thing that is worth mentioning about Vigo, is that they were never wiped-out by the plague in the 1400's, that's a "fallacy" created by story-tellers, as it is worth noting, that the "plague" did not ever affect Far-Western Spain as much as other places, most likely Galicia even less, as they had only small settlements, with VERY HIGH RAINFALL, washing away "germ-warfare", neutralizing the plague. Apart from that, a much lower "population density" compared to "bigger urban cities", also gives a much lower likelihood of the plague, killing a large percentage of the population. The other fact worth mentioning is that the people of Galicia, like all people of Western Europe, have a high incidence of the Blood Group RH Negative, which again gives the people a much higher likelihood of survival in "plague conditions", as infections, diseases, and plagues are harder to penetrate the "organism" of RH Neg people. Lastly, the 1400's mystery, of a large percentage of Vigo's citizenship "disappearing", so did their SHIPS, as greener pastures than Galicia were found.
Spain’s version of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It looks phenomenal and stunning!
Wow very old vídeo and great quality, i miss the old promenade
enjoyed it very much,Galicia has always been my favourite part of Spain, thanks a lot!
Going here next year to trace my family’s roots
This area of Galicia has been in the records since the celtic times in the BC's.
The inappropriate music is very misleading. That presumed "Flamencoid" music is not part of the Galician tradition.
Look, we use castanets and guitars too. It's not too bad as they mix Celtic sounds with guitar and so...

Galicia’s native music is bagpipes like Scotland.
Beautiful Galicia...during this Pandemic time , you cannot travel outside your country, so the best thing to visit is watching at RUclips.
In La Coruña Drake was defeated in his counter armada effort
Great job, thanks!
Saludos desde Irak. Me deseo vivir aqui.
bike touring spain must visit galicia
Is more very fime galician congratulations
¡WUNDERBAR.¡ VIELEN DANK
The Armada was defeated by a weather event, not by Francis Drake. He only cleaned up the stragglers.
wrong, this Galicia city has been in the records since the celtic tribes.
I will visit where people are friendly. are the people friendly to tourists there?
+xantyleonhart is there certain people they don't like? are there things that they don't like that foreigners might do or have done?
+xantyleonhart I never really considered the celtic part. I thought Galacia was Spain + Portugal = Galacia and it's language. I guess it makes sense since Ireland is directly above that area.

Well, Spanish beat English in La Coruña bit later hehehe....Poor Drake...
Music no Galicia no guitar is bagpipe corret
We do use guitars too.
Is more mistic mountain
I understood that the principal reason for the defeat of the Spanish Armada was a storm in the Irish Sea.

When was this video made? In the 80's? 😂

Very political. What about agriculture, horticulture and wildlife?
I take it this guy is not a fan of Maria Pita.
absolutely inaccurate
Galicia countries UKRAINE and POLAND
Thank God Julius Cesar defeated the Celtic horde
