He drove it until after Syracuse. He took the steering wheel off going down the frontstretch and went head first into the turn 1 outside wall. I believe it was 97.
Dundee; Do you happen to have any videos from when Alan Johnson drove the Grosso Motorsports car? My dad used to work for Ricky when Alan drove for him.
i remeber reading my pops old dirt tracking magazines and weedsport always had the greatest drivers and i always wanted to see what the whole track looked like lol they only ever had turn 3 pics
Dundee dm, I need to know how you added this video. I have planty of races on vhs including sdw, eastern states big and small block as well as other series races and would like to share them this off season
What a damn shame that the track just sits and rots away now!!! I can't even begin to tell you how much it saddens me to see what has happened to the Dirt Series over the years. It went from 20+ series races all over per year to what less than 10 now?
Please feel free to share this video with your friends.. Lets get them out there so people will all know they are available. I wanted to put these videos on a median I knew would be around for a long time so everyone could share them.
I think Tim started in the car and then hired Alan. I know when Alan showed up for the first time, He said he wasn't going to drive the cars until Ricky took the green off of it.lol. I'll have to ask my dad if Alan was hired and then T-Mac drove or the other way around.
I do remember he had no luck in the ride. I think Tim McCreadie took over the driving duties for about half a season as well. Or did Tim McCreadie start in the car then they hired Alan?
this is awesome thank you we need some new big block vids up
Used to love watching Tremont race at the Devils Bowl when it was dirt. He was fast there.
