I watched Tyler Walker move from the E Main into the D Main, then the C Main, the B Main all with a 360cid engine. He was outclassed in the A Main. Everyone had 408cid engines. Walker showed everyone he belonged just by the driving he did that night at the Gold Cup in Chico, CA.
Sammy , Riverside Speedway says way to go man. Remember your dad in 91 and you a young kid playing in the infield. I also yelled Riverside Speedway to you at Daytona when you drove the 300 in Bobby Allison's car. No man that was smart racing just the tire didn't want to finish. Take care from Riverside Speedway.
i felt like when Sammy's tire went down in this race, and Sammy's comments, may have been the moment that WOO switched back to Hoosier. I don't know what it is, but it really seems as if Goodyear tires are shitty and unreliable, especially in cup.
Two question that I never seem to get answered on this video and also gets me blocked for some reason: 1. Is Steve Kinser related in any way, shape or form to the late, great Sheldon Kinser? 2. Is Bobby Gerould Gary Gerould's son?
Goodyear has had reputation for making a really crappy sprint car tire. The track “slicked off”, really started to take on rubber and “lock down” on the top side.....brutal on tires. “Smoke” did a great job finishing 10th in the feature. Tough luck for Sammy.

I was at this race, it was relatively boring. The Knight Before was the much better race that year.
