- Zeal Credit Union's Incredible Science Machine: World Edition
Featuring a US record of 242,518 total dominoes toppled and a Guinness World Record for the Largest Domino Circle Field!
18 Builders from the US, Canada, Germany, and Austria spent 10 days building the Incredible Science Machine: World Edition, their 2nd annual event. The purpose of the event is to introduce chain reaction and domino building as a hobby and inspire kids' interest in STEM subjects. This year's theme incorporates the world's greatest cultures and has a domino and chain reaction section representing each continent.
The chain reaction sections are risky by nature and during the live event some of them did not work. Luckily, backup pendulums are used to continue the action to the next section, so there were no breaks in the fall down. For the failed machines, test videos were used as replacement footage for the purpose of having a more complete video.

I cannot express how grateful I am to be a builder of the Incredible Science Machine 2016! This year I was the lead builder of the Asia section and a co-leader of the Africa section, so I designed and helped build every single project from those areas! On top of that, I built the Zeal Credit Union field, the machine idea at 5:28, and a good portion of the final circle field. My favorite part about the building process, however, was that I didn’t build a single project by myself. I had so much help from the rest of the team and I’m so glad I had the chance to work with everybody. This video does not only represent one of the coolest chain reactions ever, but also two weeks of team bonding and new friendships. ISM Team, thank you for being as you are. I miss you and see you next year :D
Participating in this event was yet again the greatest experience in my life! I got to meet up with my friends once again and spend two weeks doing what I really love to do. I was the one who built the South America machine (the one with the soccer and coffee stuff) and I also helped out with almost everyone else's machines in some way.
Good job on that one, I can see that it would take a lot of patience and hard work too get that done! Keep doing what your doing.

jackofallspades98 waht if at the ending there was 1 domino standing if I was the helper😱😱
Such an amazing experience being part of this event for the second year in a row! Surely some of the best 2 weeks of my life building with like-minded domino enthusiasts from all over the world :) I'm so happy with how this turned out, and I really love how themed the machines are this year! My favorite tricks are the domino pizza, coin ramp, great barrier reef SOS, snow falling trick, 7:26, 14:31, and the awesome domino penguins of course :D Thanks so much to Steve for giving us this incredible opportunity, we can't thank you enough! And if you like this, please give it a share because it deserves so much more :)
Hevesh5 I love your channel!
no one cares about ur opinion
HIGH Midnight ,Mate how do you know nobody cares?
Kudos!!!!
Anwar Ghani what if hevesh5 really did?
this is probably the most underrated video ever. it deserves at least 10 million views
Yeah!
I know like this is the coolest thing ive ever seen!
meanwhile there's a video of some kid laughing and it gets millions of view s
NumbNuts yeah bro 😅😅😅😅
14:59 Huh? Did something go wrong there? Bummer.
Great job this year everyone! It was such a great time and I'm proud to be part of it this incredible event!
That has a whole lot of mar mar mentality!!
It was nice meeting you
I've only watched the first 7 minutes of this and I'm already impressed
same first seven minutes
I only had to watch 20 seconds before I was like, "AHHHHH WTF IT'S SO COOL!" Lol
Took you long enough man
I didn't even realize it was 20 min long
i was gonna comment that
saaaame i didnt realize how long it was until like halfway
Nicole Khalileyh I didn’t realize how long it was till I saw your comment
Nicole Khalileyh me to I just thought it was like 5 minutes
And at the end of all of it, it will push a button on your coffee maker to start making you coffee in the morning. IT'S GENIUS!!!
Really though, amazing work with the dominos, super cool! I'm impresses!
+Lauryn Ziebarth I have two coffee making machines on my channel
That's so much work you had to do 18 people from 4 countries that is so insane
I'm
Building with the ISM Team was awesome and this event has been the highlight of my entire year, if not my entire life. I'm super grateful to all of you for doing what you do and I'm already looking forward to next year.
This year, I helped build the Antarctica and South America machine sections and I planned the Africa machine section and built the first table.
Absolutely fantastic! The Rube Goldberg machines this year were amazing. The great barrier reef and the domino circle at the end were my favorite domino parts. Cool that you got Trix Track to be a sponsor
Thank you! We are so proud to be part of this amazing event and hope everyone enjoy Trix Track.
was the pagoda building thing suppose to stay up...i wanted to see it fall
Unfortunately no, it was supposed to fall but, as we later learned, when you interlace plywood throughout a huge domino structure it becomes very solid. If you'd like to see us knock it down post-event go to "Flash Domino" on RUclips and check out his Asia closeup video!
I feel honored to have participated in this wonderful event :D
So.... wow! 10 days of work, increbible kinetic, amazing domino art, wow! It is the greatest domino video that I ever see I'm waiting for the next ISM
Building the Europe machine section at this event was such a great time, and I loved every part of it. Even the frustrating fail after fail of my section and the extreme idea block of the first days. The amazing team made everything worth it, and I would trade anything for seeing you guys again today. It was such a highlight and it made my summer incredible. Seeing how it all comes together is so satisfying. This event makes me so motivated to build and I can't wait to do it again.
I love hearing the kids (and parents) try and explain what's going on and how it works.
They have no idea the work you out in to it
Those little kids were fucking aggravating shouting everything out
I know you just want them to shut the fuck ul
up
It's kinda fun
Thank you to all of the builders to make this sort of entertainment possible. I hope that you are proud of what you do!
hearing all the kids cheering in the background made this really enjoyable to watch. I wish I still got that excited about stuff
Building with all of you was the most amazing time of my entire life! i had a blast building with all of you! I was a coleader of the Africa section. Some of the things i built was a lot of the Africa section, the pagoda in the asia section and many other things in the asia section, some of the sponsor section, and a portion of the circle field, and a bunch of other small things. congratz to all the other builders, it was a great fall down! I miss you guys so much! i cant wait for next year! i want to thank all of the ISMTeam for building with me and being the coolest people ever!
no one gives a fuck about what u did or what u were the coleader of
You guys were so awesome thanks for posting
HIGH Midnight I do.
@@mustafarafin8519 your mom does stupid dog
I WAS THERE!!!! (For the building process anyway)
I loved it! Best day of my life! Please let this continue in years to come! Congrats on the World Record! That field was beautiful.
I loved the machines! I had a blast seeing all of them and I'm happy that Lyle pulled off the yogurt Knex ball kicker in midair trick! And that Joel, Steve and Chase's machines worked! Thank you so much for letting me come back and see everything! This was awesome!

Faith in humanity improved. Amazing
Awesome 2 weeks of building, singing and having fun with you guys.
9:20 best project ever :-D
Das hab ich auch gefeiert ;D

Wtf it just took all u awesome guys 2 weeks?
+Owen Loh actually it took them 10 days
me too
I'm truly amazed by this whole setup! The combination of Rube Goldberg and Domino is amazing. Also, all of the projects were really well designed and enjoyed it to watch.
I really loved the sos field at 17:30
That was AWESOME!!!!!
That was great! Amazing event, you guys! :D
Congratulations on that epic record! I can't believe that all the rgms worked so flawlessly even though they were so complex! Really awesome setup! :)
Incredibly, this is even better than the 2015 event! The machine parts as well as the dominoes. I personally care more about the domino projects of course and they were absolutely beautiful, such a huge variety of designs and techniques and so on. It's such a pleasure to watch! Next time somebody asks me what I find fascinating about domino-toppling, I'll refer them to this ;-) Congratulations and kudos to everyone involved :-)
Thank you Anno, we really appreciate your kind words :)
Hevesh I saw the behind the scenes first then I came here:D
I just spent 20 minutes staring at dominoes... not a second wasted.

That's why it's called the Incredible Science Machine;D

I CANT WAIT FOR THE SPRICE STORE GRAND REOPENING!
INCREDIBLE! THIS IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! THIS REALLY HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT! It was amazing to watch this falldown! I'm super impressed of what I saw I wanna go watch it again! Well done! 👏
I was so disappointed when the tower didn't fall down
You really said that on 9-11 XD
when was that??
+Alyce Wilson yesterday
It really sucks cause this isn't something they can test out to make sure they all fall beforehand. I felt so bad when something didn't topple over.
SAME
You should try something, after the falldown, put all the machine table together to make a monster chain reaction machine, and try to make it work without any fails, I think I could be awesome =D
Amazing job everyone, i really love that the full machine worked!
And congrats on the world record, you all deserve it so much 😄😄

@@sregginetahi999 It's not a factor of skill, it's of luck.
It would be a dream come true if I got invited to this event
congratulations...one of the best topplings i've ever seen 😊
The last time I've seen your channel in the comment section is a long long time ago. Nice to see your channel appear again;)
Yeah :) I'm still alive :P
Congratulations to all dominos and chain reaction builders for the great success of this event and for beating Guinness World Record! This is really amazing, full of creative tricks and beautiful dominos field. Thank you so much for taking Trix Track as part of your machine, we hope you enjoy. Please feel free to send us any feedback or inquiry. We would love to join you again next time. / Wonderworld team
A beautiful chain reaction indeed.
its really big and great work hard dear friend
Man o man this is insane! I'm so impressed with the work that had been done!
Wow, reeeeeally impressive "Setup" My favorite part was the airplane at the end :D
Man!! The best domino video I've ever seen !!
As an Australian I'm offended that they used marmite over vegemite :(
+Shadowknight5518 I'm offended that they made me try it
+Sprice Machines no mexican :(
+Leonardo Valadez there was salsa
That was the only kiwi thing in there so don't complain too much lol

This was awesome yet again guys!!! I enjoyed this one even more than last years... The machines were more complex and the domino setups were epic! I especially like the Antartica and Europe domino sections (and the circle field of course), along with the Antartica, Asia and Africa machines!!! Nice work to you all, and congrats on a great falldown!!!
Wow, that was amazing! I didn't know about the passing of the Kinetic King :( RIP
People like this don't get enough credit.
Props to the camera guy for not tripping over and accidentally topple the dominoes and stuff
Do people ever accidentally mess up huge domino chains while setting up?
Yes like really bad lol
Yes it's the worst. Imagine them messing THIS up at the last minute...
They are the people that did not make it anther day
Basic Oh that is a smart idea
aaaa aq aaa4qskwl2[zxx)
mar 2 1p
I wonder how much total kinetic and potential energy those dominoes created
About 12J
comsiderable for a dominoe
One does not simple create energy
+Alexander Langner Only us mere humans cannot create energy, dominoes are the superior race that can.
Liam Davidson Well I mean obviously god
Somehow ended up on this video... So glad I did.
It was so cool!! :D
That one annoying kid that goes WHOAAAAA whenever a domino topples over.
WHOOOOAAAAAAAAA
OMG TRUE XD
ahhh someone said it
So 250,000 WHOAs
+Ville Immonen actually its 242,528 dominoes
It was an honor to a part of this event! My role on the team was making sawdust so I have different things scattered throughout the sections that I worked on. Being able to work side by side with these amazing builders is an experience I am extremely glad to have had! I made some amazing friends this year and I look forward to what lies in the future for our team! Thank you Steve for putting on this amazing Event!
P.S. 5ub45ub :)
I watched 5 minutes and I thought it was the end when I realised it's 20 minutes
Cheers to 3 am RUclips binges!
World record of most dominoes needed to be picked up XD
It's so amazing and fun to watch what you guys did. definitly want to be a part of this event in the future :D
That's a lot of effort just to catch a mouse.
He never saw it coming...
BRUH YOU JUST SPOILED THE ENDING FUCK YOU
@@leme281 well your asking for it if you are looking thtu the comments IDIOT
not only did I enjoy watching how the dominoes turned out, but I also enjoyed listening to the children's excitement in the background!
No matter how many views this video deserves more.
I love how the machines reuse some of the parts.
the Antarctica section with its domino icebergs toppling was a powerful metaphor for climate change

This was truly amazing & beautiful. I wish there had been a camera looking down. Poor camera men had tough time keeping up! 😊. To each one of you. It truly was amazing to watch. You have gifts!

Best Show Ever, That Was Insane, Very Epic Video :)
This deserves an audience of about five-gizillion people
Never have I seen such dedication and patience.
I've only watch three videos and your show is amazing
thank you
true
That was so amazing to watch!
I don 't know why people have unlike the vifeo this is the best video
It requires a lot of effort
Best intro to a video ever, btw. The perfect music blasting out and so many colors and clips of everyone building synced up with the music is perfect. I thought you couldn't top last year's Intro but you did :D I've watched the intro at least ten times and listened the music from the intro a lot. Great job editing this guys.
This video gave me serious anxiety xD
Seriously a marvelous project! Sutch gigantic details about everything makes me think how much work of preperation this was! I can talk alot more but I will make it short:
Amazing work of content and you really did an awesome job creating as much as possible for all continents! Your content is great, now I think the next step will be timing and toppling process.
Even for me as a RGM knower, it was alot of times difficult to follow the chain reaction (though that doesnt say how it insanly awesome it was!). Did something go wrong during the falldown? Because I think you meant to introduce the continent in your RMGs and then show the domino projects, but the order wasnt always the way it should be (i think).
Some discount DDT and Domino Day projects I saw haha (beautifully shown!) But please try to time your projects and lines next time. I know time wasnt there for extra lines and so but it would make the falldown progress more enjoyable to watch (dont get me wrong, im only trying to improve your already amazing show)
Just an idea... but if you ever try to get even bigger with this - which also means recruiting more builders, i could help you in the progress and timing things if you want.
Something else as last; I will try to make a new series of reviewing falldowns with some domino commentary (in a way of explaining why things fialed, what was awesome and so). Can I use this video to create this series?
Thank you very much for reading this, amazing show. Would love to combine all domino teams forces to archieve that one and only world record no one of us still have :)

I felt a weird sense of satisfaction at the circle field
1.) Shout out to the creative mind(s) behind this. 2.) They had so much patience building that
Woohoo! What an awesome event... My favorite part was like everything, but especially the machine parts and the great barrier reef SOS field.
But you need to work on the timing of those pendulums, especially if the machines DO work :D
+Jaytar42 we always have bad flooring and the vibration of the large sxl block hitting the ground causes nearby lines to topple
Oh, that's bad. What about 4:19? :D
+Jaytar42 it didn't do it every time just a couple times
I was mesmerized by this absolutely amazing video! Great job :-)
But now how do you top it?
Hours and hours of hard work all tumbles in 10 to 15 minutes time. How creative this is an art form. The whole thing in its details to make sure every little component works exactly perfect.
It could have even taken days to set up. These kids are genius.
the dominoes are great and all but this Rube Goldberg work is simply spectacular
It's better than the university competition ruberge machines. So complicated in many levels
