Really love this interview! Thanks so much Zack! I don’t think David needs to nail down a genre because he can do so much. I think his genre is variety. And as he said, he writes from where he is in his life and that can lend itself to a ballad, EDM, who knows maybe even rap one day 🤔 He’s on a new, authentic trajectory for sure and I’m here for the ride! Keeping doing interviews with him Zack. You two have a great rapport 👍🏻

Oh how I love David! he is one of my two biggest celebrity crushes! He and Carlos Alcaraz! One thing though, his new song should be called "Won't Be Afraid To Love" instead of "Afraid To Love". I dance to David's songs every day and have added this one and "I'm Yours" to "Movin", "Okay, Alright", "Postcards in the Sky", "Up All Night" - I should do a video of my trying to emulate David's dance moves while watching his videos! (; David is my all-time favorite male vocalist, along with the late great Gregory Lemarchal and Lilian Renaud (and Dimash Quadebergen)! My favorite vocal performances are "Everybody Hurts", "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "My Little Prayer". I so hope he comes to Boston, even if it's just to sing to me alone! (; ha ha ha!
