I just can’t begin to say how great David is. He’s so humble and truly is a man of great faith. We love you David. I only pray and wish I could find someone very much like David.
As an Queer Latin-x person of the Christian faith myself, I feel deeply for David. It took me a while to figure out that not all churches actually preach or teach the TRUE version of God and Jesus Christ ( i.e. a God of unconditional love, a God that will deliver justice to ALL people, a God whose ultimate plan is to have ALL of us join him in his Kingdom, one day, not just a select few) . Some churches ( sometimes unintentionally and sometimes intentionally ) preach and teach a false/watered-down version of God and Jesus Christ. Consequently, people - LGBTQ+ people especially - that only know or are only taught a false version of God and Christ will understandably always be afraid/suspicious of opening their hearts to them ( as they should be - following these false versions will only leave them feeling restless, discontent, miserable, worthless, and/or unlovable), and understandably, often choose to leave the faith altogether if they were raised in a church community.
David's beginning journey struck a deep chord in me. I played a role for so long to deny my "gayness' that I lost touch with my own music. LIstening to David and watching his journey gave me encouragement to step out more. Another person, Adam B, helped me understand that coming out is a process. David helped find my music and start a journey to find it again. Adam B helped me connect in finding me.
I am so glad David came out to himself. Personally, as a senior citizen gay man who left the Mormon church decades ago I have supported his journey. . I believed that David was a closeted gay boy when he was on American Idol. It's so good he has accepted himself maintaining some version of faith. I have found religious fulfillment with the LGBTQ accepting Community of Christ denomination formerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, God bless David and all other LGBTQ Mormons and former Mormons like myself.
Did my reply go through? I'll try again: We are all loved by God, and deserve to be loved by one another regardless of sexual attraction. No doubt about that! For example, even though I consider myself lacking in some ways, such as having too soft of a voice, I know that does not diminish my worth at all. It is something I can't do a whole lot about- when I try to speak louder, it comes out as sounding angry or upset, or it tends to make me feel more angry or upset- speaking loudly just doesn't come naturally to me at all. But I also recognize that it doesn't excuse me from trying to get in on conversations and speak up as best I can. That's still the right thing to do, even though it's hard for me because of my weakness. In that same way, those who feel a strong sexual attraction, even though it might be very strong, still have a moral duty to exercise self discipline, and not have sex outside of God's law of marriage. If people disagree with that belief, I respect their right to disagree and to choose to live the way they feel is right. I respect anyone who is at least sincere in what they believe. But my belief is that we are all still expected to obey God's commandments even if they're a lot harder for some people than others... even if it's very difficult to understand why He would require that. But regardless of all that, what is most important is that we love one another, as Christ loved us. I am always trying to do better at that.
@@Donnie-Lee-Gringo My first realization was when I was 11. I went into denial for many years, and was a virgin until 35. But deep down… I was always attracted to men, but never wanted it to be true because my step father is (at his worst) a homophobic, low-level narcissist, and my mom at the time was a scatter-brained individual who has a hard time with real emotions. I was very isolated and alone……so I turned to music and art. I finally came out publicly at 22 and it’s been a journey ever since. I was too young to know what the LGBTQ culture was like but I knew I have connection with men when I was a little kid around 7 or 8 years old. And then I knew I came out as gay to myself when I was 15.
@@Donnie-Lee-Gringo I believe that we are all born the way we are, society tries to dictate the manner in which we live our life and who we spend it with, however a person will at some point know and decide who they are attracted to (male/female or both),they may not act on it and may feel the shame that society causes you to feel but it’s only when you quit giving into what society wants and you do what makes you happy and be who you are supposed to be, only then can you truly be happy with yourself and your partner, your sexual preference and your sexual orientation. This is more like a daily mantra to me I don’t identify with any particular religion, I know my faith and believes. And I live by them…. I’d rather be principled than religious
So happy for David! I am so glad he is embracing his true full authentic self! Being gay is not an imperfection! It's wonderful and we are all lovable! Being gay IS beautiful! (: (: (: Good for you, breaking the cycle! (: God has always been on my side as a fully realized gay man!

David, a young man who served a mission in my area "came out" after his mission. He seems a lot happier being himself and fortunately his family is supportive of him in his journey. I'm also glad to see him figuring out who he really is. I hope you find your truth and can live it fully.
Who he is, and who we all are, first and foremost, is a child of God! There is nothing more important to our identity than that. We're all learning together how to make sure that stays in our minds and hearts.
Being gay is sometimes lonely, some end up old being alone. Not all experience success in their Love life. This is a very challenging path for David 😅 hope he finds happiness along the way.
David Archie I'm happy for you, coming out is difficult when you have a faith built life. I pray for you and your family. May you feel God's presence in your life. Martin
I always knew David was gay since I saw him on star search. His demeanor from the way he talks to the way he walks are classic queer characters. Nothing wrong with being gay. At least now he can be himself and love himself.
@@JTScott1988 well, you're gay, how do you act? That's how most gay people act. Only a small percentage of gay are masculine looking and behavior like straight people.
Oh yes, I felt the same way about "Crush." I still listen to it now and again. There is just something about David that I just love. He's so sincere and sweet, and oh so cute!! If I were only 20 years younger. **sigh**
I relate so much😭😭😭 I’m atheist now but man the part where he was talking about it being like a thorn in your side. Oof… for so long I felt like I was sinning and being horrible to god. “I had to separate myself from my beliefs to not despise myself” MANNNNN. And looking back now Crush is definitely such a gay anthem!!!!!!!
God bless you in your journey... I would just say that before a person separates themself completely from their beliefs, that they should try really hard to nail down very specifically what those beliefs are, and to be very critical thinkers about it. Is it possible to let go of that belief that your gay *attraction* is a terrible sin and that you're being horrible to God, and yet, still hold to the belief, based in faith, that *acting* on that gay attraction is what is sinful? Yes, it's possible. But yes, the waters get muddy very quickly, and I understand that. Because we teach that our very thoughts can even be sinful- if left unchecked- that is why the waters get muddied very quickly. But for some reason, we humans want to make everything black and white. I think it's because we're more comfortable with 'knowing', rather than being unsure. And so we are often quick to reject the notion that God leaves things unclear for us, in any degree. We all need to do a lot of self refelection of our attitudes and beliefs, in a very nuanced way. For example, it seems to me that so many of us are willing to look past the 'sin' of lustful hetereosexual thoughts so much more quickly than we're willing to look past the 'sin' of lustful homosexual thoughts. Well-- perhaps we shouldn't even be trying to compare which sin is worse. We are all sinners to one degree or another- and so we all fall short of God's glory, and are in need of repentance. Not just in this regard either (lustful thought)- there are p-l-e-n-t-y of other ways to commit sin, and we all fall under that umbrella. Turning to God in our weakness, no matter what area that weakness is in, is what is vital. The chuch has to be clear about the doctrine about God's definition of marriage, and law of chastity- but what we have learned even more lately as a church, is that we can never back off from the more important doctrine of loving our neighbor as ourselves. *All* are welcome at church. On behalf of certain members of the church who make mistakes in how they treat others, I apologize deeply. I only hope we will all learn a higher level of patience, love, empathy, humility, and forgiveness, as we interact and as we try to make sense of the behaviors and attitudes coming from other people. Those who experience a same sex attraction have so much to teach all the rest of us about these types of things.
David all my love…… I am a gay Christian, and at the age of 74 it took me this long to believe that Jesus still loves me ❤and it’s OK to be gay. In this time in the world it’s OK to be gay but it wasn’t back in my time when I was your age, so I thank God for my life and my struggles in your life and your struggles - - God bless your, David
David when you said whatever …I don’t care and that relaxed laugh came out. It was like a huge weight had been lifted in you. I had not seen that smile since idol. So glad to see it again! 😊
David was so heavily indoctrinated into the Morman faith that it nearly caused him to take his own life. I am so happy and proud of him for finding the strength to claw his way out and discover the truth that he is a beautiful talented soul who can now live his truth just the way his God intended for him. ❤🌈❤
I understand how hard it can be to distinguish between the teachings of the church and how those teaching should play out in the way we interact with each other. We all have more to learn about what it means to love one another the way Christ loved us. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes known as Mormon, has emphasized recently that the commandment to love one another is always the most important one. There are some misunderstandings of the teachings and doctrines of the church, and likely will be for a while longer. Just be patient and open to the Holy Spirit as we all learn together. Misunderstandings can definitely grow into very serious problems sometimes.
No offense my friend, but God didn't intend for anyone to be gay as it says in Leviticus 18:22 and anyone who is living like that is not living in truth. Just because a sin that we're struggling with is too difficult to overcome, that doesn't mean we should change what God's Word says to fit our desired lifestyle. The same God who created the earth and the sky and set boundaries in place so that they would never trade places is the same God who commanded against homosexuality and set boundaries in the human race so that we would be safe. We have to trust that God is wise in commanding against certain things even if we don't understand the reason. I'm a guy who is attracted to women and even though it's extremely difficult, I'm still expected to fight against fornication and looking at women with lust; homosexuality is no different. My heart goes out to David, and I wish the best for him, but if we consider ourselves wiser than God and follow our ways instead of His, then we are heading down a dangerous path.
@@austindavis4544 No offense taken. You obviously have very strong religious beliefs and feel the need to follow the teachings of your God. The problem arises when you preach and judge those who do not believe or follow your religious beliefs. My belief is God and all organized religions were created by man for power, profit and control. No one alive on this earth has any idea what is beyond this life. I'm sure that's an impossible reality for you to comprehend so we will just have to agree to disagree.
@@vitrock1 No it's not an impossible reality for me to comprehend. My comment was not a personal attack on you and if you received it that way then I apologize. The only reason I spoke about God when responding to you was because in your original comment you said this was the life David's God originally intended for him. David Archuleta believed in the God of the Bible. I was simply saying that the God of the Bible doesn't condone what you say He was condoning. And no I don't believe in religion, I believe in truth. All people believe in a truth, they just disagree on what it is. Jesus Christ never said He was the religion, he said he was the Truth. The truth can be tested, and if you read the bible you will see that it withstands the tests of time. No, I don't know what's going to happen after we die, but when you have a bible that made predictions centuries ago that are coming true today in combination with so much evidence today that points to God's existence, then yeah I'm going to be more inclined to listen to it then other people.
he's so much more open and confident now, it's insane. Holding up a façade would crush anyone's soul. I'm so glad he realised that the only way to live is to be yourself! XD
If you loved god you can find ways to serve him either way. I don’t think you have to be perfect in order to try or want to do that. I’ve struggled with issues but then I got to the Point that I’d put god first even if I don’t quite overcome everything cuz I got to know God well enough to want that.
ha.ha... not afraid of tempting........... Talking of sensuality and spirituality, the best book I have found is 'Karmasutra' by Staju Jacob. An exceptional book which explores the connection between karma and sensuality. It is a rare to find a book that discusses these two aspects of life without too much religious dogmas. It can also challenging for a layperson, particularly a Westerner or someone who hasn't read religious texts, to understand the complex laws of karma so this book simplifies it all. This 2016 book 'Karmasutra' By Staju Jacob (by the way it is not the kama sutra book 🙂 with pictures about how to do it... but a different book) provides a nuanced and comprehensive understanding of karma and its impact on consensual sex and sexuality, curses, occult, and the karmic system. Furthermore, it presents these ideas without relying on vague terminology from Eastern religions. It is a remarkable book which also touches LGBT issues... I think the author is of Indian origin...some guru of some sort maybe.. Hope this book becomes widely available in all languages.... 🙂
Great interview. I feel so lucky to live in the internet era so i get to see wonderful LGBT+ communities across the world. It isn't so nice in where i live
I live in Utah. It is woderful to belive in God. There is always hope, but there are sins and sinners everywhere regardless of your geographical location. God shall judge everyone invidually. I care what God thinks about me and not the world.
I'm seeing a lot more confidence from u since u came out. I'm happy for u. I'm not a fan of organized religion. See God as u need to see that power and keep love as your foundation.
@David Archuleta I don't know u but I feel strongly the human/spiritual connection. You're special and have a "godly" message to spread. Continue to inspire
Why does God seemingly tell people wildly different/opposing things? What’s the difference between “the voice of God” and “the voice inside your head”?
Oh David David David ❤ ❤ ❤ … I could write a long chapter of reaction and reflection and compassionate based feelings that You, My Young Friend are responsibly a Living Voice of Truth not only for You, but Truth for many including me, Beau Saucier of a very Spiritual Mississippi family not very inclusive of my “being created queer” even at 74 years old. I have come to Healthy Spiritual and Self-acceptance of my Soul and God’s Love within my being … Based on my true knowing that We Are All One With God … and He/She created us All in Her/His Image… that The God Is Love … … and David … You are Living and learning daily, Living Your Truth that Is God’s Truth that We are created in the image of God and are All that God is for creating each of us with our own individual set of Life Lessons … Be at Peace as I am , be with Love as I am , be with Understanding as I am … and especially be with Kindness in your Heart as I am … Here and Now and Forevermore …😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏AMEN … Amen💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
We are all mortal. We are all gifted and flawed. Being queer should never be a barrier to joy and peace. I do believe the law of chastity to be the standard we strive for, but we need to find our way to follow it. The way that God inspires us to live it. And maybe it leads us to gay relationships and gay marriage and potentially adoption of children… and that is your honest and sincere offering: beautiful. I wish people could make space in the LDS church for the queer people and their meaningful relationships. I am a member of the LDS church and hope that by being there and being myself, I can carve out safe spaces for anyone who sincerely wants to be there, no matter who they love. Every single person that attends that church needs the exact same saviour as everyone else. Everyone, every day, are just beautiful humans. And its our best offering… which can be a loving gay relationship that should be celebrated. That is what qualifies us for Christ. Human, sincere desire and willingness to offer our best. I think we want our best to be this pretty package: check box commandments. But we love God and ourselves when we are ok being ourselves and offering our best… and stop trying to offer what others offer. The church is a tool, a powerful tool for bringing people to Christ. However, I never want it to become a barrier to bringing people to Christ. The church is not eternal, our relationships with God and each other are eternal.
A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... by gay author My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.
I love you David Archuleta. i’m proud of you for not being afraid. I’m bisexual. I want a girlfriend. I love that Christmas song that you did the cover of *NSYNC.
David is an inspiration. On my wish list, . To meet David. A humble, faithful, honest man. If David could be cloned, I would definitely appreciate a partner like David.
I like David Archeluta , but this is so against the word of God he has an important way to render music and praise to God but the devil only wants to bring him down . I say this because of one thing he said during the interview,he said he always had gay followers , can't you see that the devil was just tempting him with them and I know it must have been hard for him. I feel him though because I myself also had the same thing going on when I was younger but I don't really know how I got out of it , all I know now is that I'm free and any time those thoughts come again I surround myself with the word of God because the bible says we should resist the devil and he will flee
You’ve come to a challenge of your faith. As its said we will in the end time we will become lovers of ourselves, and even the most elect can be fooled. Maybe yours is about saying no to the lust of the flesh. I hope you will find your way back to Christ, he understands and didn’t give you a pass ticket, what you EXPERIENCING is your road to travel and to overcome. We can all have temptations, and the Devil will applaud your decision as right and moral but you know its not. We all have to honor our covenants, and press forward. Gods Morality is pure and we cant change the Gods rules because the world says what’s wrong is the new right. You can still be yourself without allowing the pressure of the WORLD to cause you to lose your crown. There are no winners with Satan and those who are happy for your choice really don’t know the truth. You do, love u brother. CTR
David is a good sweet man and having same sex attraction isn't a sin but if he acts on it then he goes contrary to the will of God and will find something less in his mortality and life beyond the veil.
David, the Church leaders believe that same gender attraction is something people are born with. They recognize this is the case far more than that it is something caused by being a sexual deviant or wrought by sexual abuse. Certainly Elder Christopherson, an eminent leader in the Church, would not and does condemn his own gay brother for his attraction to other men. Likewise I do not condemn my sweet little niece for same gender attraction either. I know it is a tremendous hardship for both of these people to follow the principles of the Church with this on their plate. If a member criticizes another for same gender attraction, then they are not acting in accordance with the Gospel of Christ any more than one who antagonizes another for a great hardship. God is about relieving us from guilt, not preserving or enhancing it. Don't step away from the Church bro. And don't let your parents do so either. It simply won't be worth it to you guys. Just as many others in the Church have experienced, whether rich or poor, famous or infamous; stepping away from the Gospel will make it difficult to find true happiness in this life.
I love David. Wanted him to win American Idol. But I did love David Cook too. But I cannot wait until interviews like this is just about David the artist and person. Not David the homosexual man who announced to the world who he loves. it needs to stop and interviews like this and channels like is where it can start. Let's stop focusing on sexuality. We sure don't do that to straight folks, ever. It's time we "normalize" gays being part of our society and are people.
David, you say that you have "stepped away" from the mormon church. Please brother, take another giant leap and make a clean break. You are exactly as God made you, and you are doing what He wants you to do. It's so fucking obvious. The Bretheren will never understand that, nor understand the capacity of His love for the person you are. The leaders you spoke to wear blinders and simply can't see the all encompassing love He has for EACH of his children. It's not their fault. I'm ex-mo, and trust me... you are on the right path. It will still bring you Home, regardless of what old, white, conservative, racist, sexist Apostles have stuck in their brain holes. Proud of you, David.
Just don't confuse yourself with the world's ideas of making selfs pleasing rather than the respecting the Lord's true commandments... The world is easy to pleasing and favor to our needs as of the Lord is still loving you and worry of you're confusion... Be thou humble in thy wickness... The church has taught the truth and its just you wants to be recognized by the world...
Faith, truth, obedience, trust..... these are defined by God not man. S-elf, I-sh, N-ess is our only accomplishment in our own living and life unto death. The truth of Christ, John 14:6, the gift of His faith, Ephesians 2:8-9, our convinced obedience to Christ in love, John 14:15, As we trust only Christ for our life and living..... Luke 13:3&5, Romans 10:9-10, to know the Father and the Son, John 17:3. Ther is no room for Gay, Fornicator, Liar, Cheater, in that! For each of those are a choice of S-elf, I-sh, N-ess over Christ.
It's so amazing to see the progress in admitting to being gay. When I was growing up it was not ok to be gay. I had to hide who I really was and I hated me. I had told my mother and her first words to me what will the neighbors say. To join the army and become a real man. She also drank a bottle of Valium and tried to kill herself. More power to you.
Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
What you do in your private life is your own business. I think it is time for you to move on. Stop talking sbout the Church. It is about time for you to understand that being an activist will not change the fact: "Man's laws cannot make moral what God has declared immoral". I believe in Christ and I believe Christ. He gives the laws and He gives the Revelations to His Prophets. God is God and He will continue to be God because God is not the son of a mortal man to say one thing today and change it tomorrow. Once again do and keep your sexual inclinations and acts in private. God is the perfect judge, but God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the othet; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. There isn't beauty in sin. There isn't anything worthy or good of admiration in any immoral act.
God loves you, I love you. It is still not God's way, man and man. Man and women is God's way!! If you are right, Human beings would not exist at all!!
It's an oxymoron to say you are a Christian (Christ Follower) when you are essentially following after what "you" want to do. There is only one Way to the Father and this is through His Son. Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses are actually a cult. It's so worth following Jesus then what you want..believe me it is. You have peace joy and then there's Heaven waiting for your eternity. There are many people who have recieved deliverance after being a part of this lifestyle and who now follow Jesus and His Word. What appears to be right with a man is not right with God. Jesus really loves you so much!!! Go to one of the River churches like the one in Tampa FL.
He said he doesn’t understand why the beliefs are the way they are…. Read your Bible, the KJV Bible not the Joseph Smith adulterated version, and you’ll know why true Christianity frowns upon homosexuality. Stop trying to make God fit into your amoral narrative so you can feel better about a lifestyle that God hates. Yes, God hates sin but He in His infinite love and mercy died to set sinners free! May David find this freedom from sin and stop trying to convince himself that he is ok in his current lifestyle.
@@Noah4evaa He literally planned his own suicide because of slavish devotion to your antiquated myths and you're here saying he just didn't try hard enough. It's so pathetic lmao.
@Noah JW You speak out of complete ignorance. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has used the King James Version of the bible for the last 192 years and continues to do so to the present day. We just spent all of 2022 studying the Old Testament, and will spend 2023 studying the New Testament using the KJV.
That young man is lost. I’m praying for him. All sexual activity outside of marriage, whether heterosexual or homosexual, is sinful. And marriage is between a man and a woman.
Good for David, a young smart talented man who decided to live his life as his true self.
Yes
but he's a homosexual and that's a sin!
David’s comment, “This crush isn’t going away.” I know what he means. Who would want to be disrespectful to David? Definitely not me.😊
I am so glad David came out to himself.

But deep down…
I was always attracted to men, but never wanted it to be true because my step father is (at his worst) a homophobic, low-level narcissist, and my mom at the time was a scatter-brained individual who has a hard time with real emotions. I was very isolated and alone……so I turned to music and art.
I finally came out publicly at 22 and it’s been a journey ever since.
I was too young to know what the LGBTQ culture was like but I knew I have connection with men when I was a little kid around 7 or 8 years old.

I'm glad David for the confidence and show his inner self 🫶🫶❤️. He's so gorgeous ughhhhhh

David was so heavily indoctrinated into the Morman faith that it nearly caused him to take his own life. I am so happy and proud of him for finding the strength to claw his way out and discover the truth that he is a beautiful talented soul who can now live his truth just the way his God intended for him. ❤🌈❤
David was in the Morman Faith?
No, I don't know what's going to happen after we die, but when you have a bible that made predictions centuries ago that are coming true today in combination with so much evidence today that points to God's existence, then yeah I'm going to be more inclined to listen to it then other people.

ha.ha... not afraid of tempting........... 🙂

Here and Now and Forevermore …😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏AMEN … Amen💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... by gay author
My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE...
@David Archuleta are you really did
@David Archuleta first album came out and I listen to it. I loved it. I also really love the song you did with Hannah Montana

The Lds Church is not about sexuality, nor about being gay, it's more about your Sexuality being Sacred, and not to be abused.
Define abuse in this context.
Then open the temple to gay marriage.
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1, NLT)
CTR
David should check out the Community of Christ. They are the LGBT-friendly cousin of the LDS church.
Only thing is they are more like a 4th cousin twice removed. Very different doctrines taught even though they look similar in structure.
We are all how we are made. So if its true that God made us then we are God's work.
I liked him since I was 16 but wow he's gay
“Lot of mormons”? Not lots.
Elder Gong is white?😂
Didn’t know Elder Soares is white either. So sad to see how racist they’ve all become😢
GOD created me gay for HIS purposes. Took me a long time to just accept it. Denyining that GOD created me this way was the sin.
I’m no. He’s gay and just doesn’t wanna be crushed by pretending to be someone else his entire life.
I’m not gay for attention and neither is he.
💜
Her priorties are all out of wack.

Yeah there is, it feels good 🙂
Yaaaas start that onlyfans David! 🤣
We don’t want him doing that. He is great as he is
David reminds me of a guy I met a good number of years ago. He’s great too!😊
No. David would not do that nor would I
I didn’t have anything to do with that idiota
He, is. CREEPY.
Hope, he does NOT think he, is a devout
Mormon######
he needs help if he chooses that path.
His creator made him that way, and the Creator is pleased. Pure love!
Put your hate aside.
@@Steve-gc5nt it’s only “hate” when it doesn’t once again fit your narrative
@@Noah4evaa He literally planned his own suicide because of slavish devotion to your antiquated myths and you're here saying he just didn't try hard enough. It's so pathetic lmao.
@Noah JW You speak out of complete ignorance. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has used the King James Version of the bible for the last 192 years and continues to do so to the present day. We just spent all of 2022 studying the Old Testament, and will spend 2023 studying the New Testament using the KJV.
@@bobrussell8339 oh good, then it should be crystal clear why homosexuality is wrong!
Be who you are! Don’t worry about some invisible being in the sky
God is real😊
There is No god!
🥰😘🤗
That young man is lost. I’m praying for him. All sexual activity outside of marriage, whether heterosexual or homosexual, is sinful. And marriage is between a man and a woman.
Typically ugly and profane response from an ugly and empty soul. Have a nice day!
