  • As seen on footage, the defendant kneeled on the victim’s neck for minutes during a fateful arrest on May 25, 2020, while co-defendants Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Kueng were on the man’s back and legs. Floyd, who was handcuffed behind his back, was face down in the street, saying he could not breathe. He called out for his late mother. Angry bystanders demanded Chauvin remove the knee. Floyd became unresponsive. Authorities carried his limp body onto a stretcher.

@ralinem.8950 The manager should have gone out themself. Cigarettes cost about $15 per pack, though, and there's a reason retail workers try to prevent shoplifting (I know from experience). You should be angry at the police, not the manager.

I think the state is missing key questions and redirect. Did anyone else see in the videos that the passenger in the car with GF came in and handed him money before purchasing the cigarettes? That interaction looked as if (speculation of course) that GF checked his pockets, counted money and spoke with the passenger asking maybe for some money which he did give him later. It is plausable that GF did not know his passenger gave him a counterfeit bill. Which could be while in the car, he was saying are you for real dude - not to the clerk but to the passenger for giving it to him. Why is the state not digging into this portion more?

@t Floyd was asked to get into the squad car, however the rear seatbelts were attached and in the way, preventing him from entering the vehicle safely. The seatbelts were not unlatched until, they Cops decided to pull him through the vehicle from the other side of the vehicle, and throw him on the ground. So not only was he claustrophobic but his right of way to enter the vehicle was impeded. These seatbelts should also have had to have been unlatched prior to asking him to enter the vehicle cuffed. Had he entered the vehicle without the rear seatbelts being unlatched this also could have put him at further risk to his health. What if he got tangled up in those seatbelts while handcuffed??? it could also have been very very detrimental to his predicament.
