OLD PAL cocktail

Original 1878 "Sparrow" Robertson bar notes version. Beautiful aroma, slightly spicy Campari followed by a lingering rye whiskey. Classic sipper! Comes in at 28% ABV.
MIXING NOTES: Canadian Club was the original rye used (not sure of the proof back then). Orange peel twist provides just the right amount of orange essence to the Campari and vermouth..

1 Campari (Italy 48 proof)
1 Cocchi di Torino vermouth (Italy 32 proof)
Stir mixing beaker with cracked ice, strain into old fashioned glass containing a 2” clear cube, orange peel twist
