I remember those 60 Thunderbirds when I was very young. Our neighbor had a couple of them. Northern California redwoods.
It was a very light yellow T-Bird.. who won a move to Southern California back in 68 my aunt had one her ghost has 63 cream color. Her nothing just floated down the highway .
And now. I live in the middle of the state. And I have a 02 black on black triple black T-Bird.😊😎👍🏽🤙🏾🎸🙋🏽♂️😎.
You guys knocked it out of the park with that old lady. It's remarkable how overall good condition it's in, and like some of the other vintage Ford's from your channel, it almost seems like the car was sitting waiting for you. That car has buckets of character, and I wish cars were made like this still.
The 428 sounds fantastic, and I would imagine it's got torque for days.
Solid revival as always!
Dude she is gorgeous !!....watching her get clean really satisfying... love the color combo..... hope to see more of her !!!
The 61-63 birds are my favorite. White walls, fender skirts, it don't get much better. Such a classic design. This is better than a Ferrari. Stinking mice ain't got no respect.
My first car was a 63 Thunderbird red with white top 390 4 v Duall exhaust, Posi rearend!
My favorite, these are Pretty Machines😮❤❤❤428 didn't appear till later , I think;
This is one of the nicest cars I have ever seen you resurrect. This and the Porsche are your "crown jewels". Thank you so much for making these fun videos!! Keep up the great work!!!
That is a beautiful car. You guys did a great job getting it back on the road where it belongs.👌
I agree Craig!
Love that big block rumble, no one did it better than Ford. 😎 🏁
Thinkin' the same thing, we had a '64 Country Sedan when I was a kid and my first car was a '64 XL hardtop with a 390, miss that FE sound.
Chevy
@@mesckoOur first Ford big block was a 1961 Galaxy with a FE 352. we bought it new it was red. I took my girlfriend to the prom in it. I have a picture of it with me all dressed up for the event.
@@jhermelmorris3783 Chevy had a big block in 1958 it was 348 ci and the 409 was an option the were both dogs as it was originally a truck motor. I ow ned a 1957 Merc with the turnpike cruiser engine 364 ci. It would blow any Chevy off the road the only thing it couldn't go past was a gas station. It got about 8 mpg.
Sweet Bird, you guys did a nice clean up on the old girl and she is looking and sounding good. Keep up the good work and thanks for the videos.
The T-bird is every much a classic as the 911T. I also love the Galaxy 500. That covers three days of the week. Need to see the Mark III in the shop. You are working your way into the coolest collection of good ole daily drivers on RUclips.
Bits pieces to do but your very best restoration, keep bringing back history.🤷♂️👍
19:26 looks like the back left white wall is not quite seated in. She’s in great shape, gorgeous car!
Love our Gordon Lightfoot!
🇨🇦
Man you guys lucked out with that one. What a nice car.
ya'll are an inspiration - thank you for you attitude and sharing what being blessed is all about - take care!
Absolutely stunning design. Beautiful condition with just the right patina. A car for life. My compliments.
What a beautiful car. I miss my T Bird
This guy is a genius!! 👏👏👏 Bird lover here!
I owned a 62 Thunderbird that looked exactly as your car here to the "T". Except for the windows, they were powered windows. I purchased it back in 1968 while I was stationed in the Air Force in southern California. It drove and it had a wonderful ride. It was certainly a beautiful car.
I love the 62 TBirds had one myself until it was stolen and wrecked. One day, I will have another one.
I am so jealous. I have followed you from the begining. That you guys have found, rehabed, driven and now own all those wonderful cars, that myself and others, could only dream of having. Well done.
That bird is very nice even if Im hit a Ford fan! You guys are truly car guys! Great to see you and your dad working together to make magic happen!
Omg, you just brought back a lot of memories to me with this T-Bird rescue! Back in the early 60's, my Mother drove a 62 Thunderbird similar to this! I was just a kid then, but I knew that that car was awesome!! Thanks for bringing back some great memories!!!
The wheels and tires look awesome. I had never seen fake whitewalls like those before. How cool
Just love those old Thunderbird.
This car is a beauty!. I remember this car being all over the place when I was a young child in the 1960s.
SOOOOOO much room to work inside the engine compartment! Man I long far my old cars.
That is a beautiful car! I had a 67 black on black and it was a beauty too, the days when cars were cars. Thanks this restore was great!🤗
I love what you did with this car. The only thing I don't like is the white wall tires. I think it is because they don't match the paint. Thanks for rescuing these old beauties.
She came out great. Nice job guys!
You guys did a superb job of bringing this old girl back to life! Really enjoy the respect and love you put in to these projects. Takes me back to my brother and I working on cars with our dad. Thanks!
I love this old car! My favorite T-birds are the Squarebirds and the Bulletbirds. I was thinking I wouldn't mind having the '62 Fairlane but I changed my mind!
Friend, I think you should keep this beautiful car and keep it because it is a real wonder!
This thing turned out beautiful! Ready for Bring a Trailer
Brother you are so lucky .
Dude! She’s a beauty! Definitely a keeper! Great job!👌😎👍
That thing is in amazing condition.
Loving that old 20s 30s style tyre debeader them things are super rare.
My uncle has a 1956 (either that or 57, not sure which) that he’s bad parked in a garage for longer than I’ve been alive (25 years). I’ve been trying to get him to fix it up since I’ve been 12. He hasn’t talked to me since I’ve been 16 because he knows the conversations going to come around to trying to get the car started. Don’t know why he’s so hung up on it, but it breaks my heart whenever I think about it. Seeing videos like this always gets my hopes up though! Thanks for posting.
Great job getting that old T Bird back running well and looking great. It sounds awesome.
I like your channel because you guys are super thorough! And your all business. Keep up the good work
What a Beauty
I love that rumble Perring sound!
Brilliant well done, this is a beauty, the blue interior is gorgeous, just love that V8
Gordan Lightfoot has some good music. Keep that.
Nice Bird... I restored a 62 Bird about 20 years ago. Red with white and gold interior, 390 and no AC. Very nice driving car when set up correctly.
Wish I had never sold my 62 Thunderbird exactly like this one!!! I love these old cars!!!!!
First loved 58s when I was a kid because Stu Baily had one on 77 Sunset Strip. Then loved 64 - 66 discovered 55s last. Everyone loves them. Now I love 55s and 62 - 63. Cream / off white like this is my favourite.
It is a joy to watch you guys actually repair something and not just replace a part. The Thunderbird looks splendid. Congratulations.
Good job 👌🇲🇰
I love those old Tbirds. Style beyond compare.
So true, I remember buying ,crawling under and working on these Classic cars.
Also wish I still had some of them, and wish I was 35 years younger.
To much technology in the crap we drive today.
Simpler was better.
When I was 19 and in the army, I bought a 1976 bird. 460 ci ,every option except moon roof. Loved that car for 2 weeks. Then a 18 wheeler made a last second right turn from the left lane and destroyed my beautiful Thunderbird. I have always wanted to get another but it never happened. Pushing 60 years old now and would love a chance at buying one. Anything from 66 to 76 would be great. I would even buy this one. Hook me up guys. Love your vids!
So many memories with this car my grandma bought one brand new in 62 it was triple black and she taught me how to drive in it when i turned 15 she ended up selling it for 15 grand in 1980
She was born same year as me. Awesomeness!
Amazing transformation 🇱🇷💯✅
That car is you perfect for the family to go cruising 💟
I know this one’s a little late for me 11 months later but I just found this channel and I couldn’t help but watch you rebuild a terrific car. I don’t know if you ever thought about it but you gotta take one of these up there to Michigan and Detroit and do the Woodward cruise!
I love this car. My mom had one very similar to it. It was a luxury car. I don't know which engine, but I do remember I could beat anyone because it was so quiet, they never guessed the power it had.
What a gorgeous car. Wouldn't get rid of this one
I see a lot of revivals of popular cars on youtube like mustangs, camaro’s etc…
If u ask me, i like this revivals a lot more. Its new for me 🙂
So keep doing ur thing with ur dad to 👍
Grtz from Belgium ✌️
That is one sweet ride. 😎
Yall should try powertour and show you can do it on budget. Maybe haul a budget friendly classic camper.
That bird is a sweet bird❤❤ that bird sounds great. That bird was born the same year I was..❤
The tire and hub combination look so good
I love the 1961 to 1963 Birds. My brother-in-law won a 1961 Bird back then. Your 1962 is a keeper. Enjoy it.

That is now one sweet Banana-Bird.
Love that Gulf Oil hat you wear. Car is awesome !
Generally not a fan of wide whites and wires… but MAN that just MADE this car. .. I was actually saying out loud…”PLEASE paint the wheels!”
Looks amazing
Fantastic work..... Absolutamente Precioso y Bellísimo. From Barcelona (Spain)
Of all the big ‘birds’ this one is the best looking!
Love them old thunderbirds. I had a 1966 with a 390 in it loved that old car. Unfortunately I lost it in a divorce. Wish I had it back. Great video.
Great job on the T-Bird guys
Ah man!! What abgrest episode and what a great car!! Coming from the UK 🇬🇧 this is the sort of thing I would love to do a cross country trip in.... quintessential Americana 👍
This is one of the cars you dream about having. I am a big Ford guy and this is a great looking T-Bird
behind ur Porsche thats the best car u've owned and rescued 👍👊🥰🍾🥃much love from the UK.
Always use silicone tyre glue on the outter layer of the fake white walls they always sag after a few months (i learnt this the hard way)
A car with attitude....Saved by your warm climate and no road salt ever...That and heavy gauge sheet metal bodywork from the 1960s...Loved it...🤔🤔😳😏😏😀😀😀🇬🇧
Warm climate is good for the metal but you should see what it does to interiors unless a car is garaged constantly!
And yes, cars of that era had thicker sheet metal but factory rustproofing was in its infancy, it wasn't unusual for a car in a northern climate where salt was used on the roads in winter to be a rusted-out hulk within five years.
She's a beauty. ❤
Actually sounds awesome now. Way more awake :)
My favourite model T-bird. I had a toy one as a kid.....maybe that's why.
I like your stages you are taking to get the car cleaned up and going again .I been doing auto body and paint for 45 years . I am looking for a classic car .
Great music during the interior detailing.
Hi from Denmark, thanks for another wonderfull video.
I love this car. My father drove one. He had 3 to 4 different T-Birds.

Heck Michael..... when has it NOT been raining down here lately?! I think the last 2-3 days have been the longest stretch we've had in a while that it hasn't. We've been overly blessed as of late with the liquid sunshine!
Haha ikr! 😅 Come this summer we’ll be begging for the rain..😩
Those white wheels look ridiculous,,,, l do love your shows ✌️
I just love Ford ❤️ and your car is brilliant
