Really happy you guys have got 4 poster now 😀 you deserve the success
Thanks Nick! 😊
Jim Rockford would be proud
With the fire bird, being some what of a America Classic.. I would like to see some kind of a full restore (Budget wise) like you did with the Porche.
Agreed these 1970s 2nd generation Firebirds and all their variants are iconic American classics recognised throughout the world. This car fully deserves some sympathetic restoration treatment. Considering it's been idle for so long it's in remarkable shape.
U can buy a new interior for that they repop
I came here for the videos. I will keep coming back for many reasons. One that stood out to me in this video was how sincerely thankful he is to the fans. I thought that was really awesome!
We’re really glad to have you! So appreciative to viewers for watching, and allowing us to rescue!!! ☺️
Huge congrats on 4 post lift .🎉 Amazing job and work on TA 💯🎯💪
Thank you!! We really appreciate it! 😃
pontiac rebuilds are the best and rarest
Great content, in my opinion anyone who finds these beautiful cars and brings them back to life is providing a public service. New subscriber from London
Dad is a star.
I had a 76 Formula back in the 80's. It was a 400 4 speed. LOVED that car.
Happy Monday y'all! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that your week got off to a great start today! As soon as I saw this car again, The Rockford Files theme started playing in my head! 😂
Happy Monday to you Also. Have a great week.
Happy Monday to you too!😎👍
Most of his Formulas gad hood slits like GTO. James Garner owned his own production co. so he got to choose what car he drove on the show. He liked Firebirds and there was a Pontiac dealer nearby the studio office.
Rockford did not drive formulas. He drove esprit’s. The base model. None of his cars ever had the formula hood
Be nice to see a link for the parts you bought.
LESSS GOOO SHES BACK
Luxury Lift.....so deserved....you two must really appreciate that lift....The wig sketch was really funny....🤔😳😏😏😀🇬🇧 Love my 7 speed Audi automatic though...lol...
Congrats on the 4 post lift, will make repairs and restorations a lot easier and better on your backs 😅
true but like alot of channels, getting beyond the average hobbyist now.
Thanks so much! It’s definitely been a huge help! 😃
@@Jstme303We try to keep true to our roots. Waiting and saving for years now to get to the point of having a lift. We live week to week. It was a very inexpensive one. But truly, something we felt would help tremendously with our rebuild efforts here on the channel.
I get that but so many channels get so out of touch. This is one of the best out there. @@BudgetBuildz
Can't say how many times I've said to myself; Them good ole boyz sure do need a lift. Bravo!
Great job, man! We gotta get you a Rockford Files leather jacket to match!
My dad and I did a 4 speed swap on his gto recently. All I can say is it’s better in every way 😂 love the vid as always
As being a sand and gravel for 30 years . always shifted my own! Direct drive get ya home as sluschboxes will leave waiting for your buds to help ya...Mech trans can't be broken except error... Thank you for doing this!
This is one of my favorite RUclips channels. These guys are so down to earth and genuine.
Great work! 👍
I'm hoping for a fifth episode showing off the new interior.
BTW, I have two Pontiac Firebid cars in my garage. A Pontiac Firebird 350 convertible, built in 1968 and a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 6.6 liter, built in 1978. Both in very good original condition after restoration.
Great floors on that old Bird. She definitely will be more fun with the 4 speed.
Good Deal on the lift/hoist installation.
The Bird of Fire is coming along nicely!!!!! The Mullet Man scene was the "gas" neato man!!!
A Firebird and a mullet a match made in heaven. Heck all you need is some Lynard Skynard and all will be right in the world. Congrats on the lift that just saved you a lot of work going forward.
Firebird and the camper! Gonna be two great series! Hi from Nebraska 😊
Your backs will thank you for the 4 post lift! And your family should appreciate the safety aspect of it too.
Manuals are great in the country, but in stop and go on a freeway for your morning commute, or crawling through downtown traffic in you daily rush hour home, not so much.
Yes! $1,000.00 well spent! will be a fun car to drive now! sounds Awesome too!
Nothing like a 4 speed behind a healthy V8 👍👍🇦🇺
Nice score on the lift!!
4 speed in a Pontiac can never go wrong !
Great call on putting in a manual. What a difference. Oh... and loved the hair! That was hilHAIRious!!!.
Good choice with the 4 speed!
The 4 speed is exactly the way to go. Congratulations on the shop upgrade! That is a game changer!
Glad to see you guys have a lift, I've been watching since you brought the Porsche home, and all you've done is get better and better at bringing these cars back to life. 😁👍
Every time I see that car all I think about is Rockford Files. Great video ✌🏽
Hooray for the lift! That's huge. Love the 4 speed.
Just had to watch from the beginning again. Awesome car as usual. I like the banter you have with your dad. That's special
I love when you guys work on the firebird
That's a powerful video keep doing more DIY God bless you all Best of the best ❤️
I appreciate the step by step on the 4 speed installation. I had never seen one before and you took out the mystery of it and showed us how to work through the challenges that you faced along the way to get er done. Thanks again!
One thing with a Saginaw, the shift linkage tab bolts on the transmission should have a special washer that you bend the tabs up. You really want those on there, trust me.
Y'all did an amazing job on the 4speed change over.
Favorite year for Pontiac and I can't wait to see more about this car, I dig the Mullet 😂😂😂😂
If your universal joints are too loose, making them difficult to use, wrap some electrical tape around the center to keep the joint from relaxing to either side. Good score on the lift.
Good to see you get the lift. Happier to see the Bird get a 4 speed. Great build on the old Pontiac. Can't wait for the next video.
Congrats, the lift is a game changer!
If so many people like this video. Maybe you can get dad in that outfit😂great job
Things are on the up gentleman😂😂. My profound congratulations.
Mullet man strikes again! Another 70's car burning rubber once again! Yee Yee!
Wey, that sure lifted my spirits!😊
Congrats on the 4 post lift well deserved it will help make working under cars much better 👍 well done guys and thank you for sharing your content 👍
You did the 911 on the ground, now You have a lift!!! Congrets, I hope you give the bird what it needs a new interior and a 5/6 speed gearbox and You have a hell of a nice car!!! Very good video and i’m looking for more, Greetz from the Netherlands , ramon
Great work on making it a proper sports car by putting in the third pedal! CONGRATS on the lift I am very envious of the lift!!
Nice job, I swapped to a 4 speed and then 5 speed in a Toyota I owned while stationed in Japan, most fun we ever had with a car.
I love that car and there's hardly any rust and it sounds awesome, that would look great re-built it didn't hang about either, they were well built in those days compared to these days. keep it up guys love it and your wig lol.
I luv a stick...always have at least one in the inventory, now have 4. I once changed out a BMW 2002 from an auto to stick in the street in front of my apt building over a weekend, back when I was light on bread, just to get back to shifting for myself.
That lift is a great addition to your shop, gonna make a huge difference in your videos, good luck with it
Mr. B. Here ! That’s a lot of 💩💩 in that interior ! Nice lift ! Nice job guys !
Thanks!
Congratulations!! I’m so happy for you both!! May we see your second lift sometime soon!! Growth is phenomenal. ❤❤
Had that 3 speed Sag in my street stock dirt track car. Second gear foot to the firewall, behind a 406 monster. Went from a 355 to 383 to the beast 406.
Wow, would really love to see you finish a project!
She started out a little rough but is looking like it has good bones.Looking good
Yeah Brothers, that lift is JUST what the doctor ordered! I need to get something like that too, then maybe I'll feel like working on something. Keep up the great vids and glad I'm subscribed!
This Pontiac fan says Thank You.
I love your channel and I specially love what you did with the Firebird. I cannot wait to see the interior installation and bodywork. Looking forward to the next video on the Pontiac.
You all looking like Morsky in the red Camero 😅🎉
OHHHH I can't wait to see the trans rebuild!
Hi guys that Firebird Formula sounds real good 👍 like the workmanship
A cool car like that deserves a nicer dash!
my favorite build so far want to see it finished
Glad to see you have a lift, so much better than crawling around under the vehicles. Great video too, pity that the gearbox has issues but it's an opportunity to learn. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You guys are headed in the right direction. Love what your doing. Great looking bird.
Out of all the cars and trucks I've owned, I always have found a coin under the carpet with the year the vehicle was made. Sometimes more than one coin.
I loved the Rockford Files😁
Super upgrade w/ lift! Youll love it! Congrates.
Seriously cool car! Would really like to see it cleaned up and in the original color (and of course every bit of the way from here to there) 😊
You got the lift😊. Deal changer. I very familiar with Liberty, Easley, Seneca.
Awsome guys and you derserved the 4 post lift for all the amazing work🔥🔥
Congrats on the 4 post, loved the Joe Dirt Mullet imposter.
Mr Budget and Mr Buildz absolutely enjoying the cars and content thankyou , from down Under , regards Rob.
One of the worst places you usually find rot is where front brackets on rear leaf springs.majority of camaro and firebird had this problem,do you get titles with most of these cars.great find on your lift, that will be game saver for you…great video as always.keep it up.kudos to you and your dad.👍👍👍😎😎😎
😅Really happy for you guys . Nice lift . Moving up in the world . Love the channel . And the videos . Keep them coming !!!

Unreal no one sponsored you a lift. Hang tough, thx for the content
Don't worry about that Saginaw, it'll hold up.
Love the wig and the blue checkered shirt! ❤
Cars not too bad either! 😂
What a beautiful Bird!
Great upgrade on this beauty, thanks from the UK.
Happy Monday afternoon 😮 budget buildz I like 👍 the idea 💡 to make it a 4 speed transmission and I like 👍 to. Have the in side done ✅ right as well as the outside I’m old school 🏫 and like 👍 to see it done right to be put back on the road 😮 you have a great day
Enjoyed the picture show 😊
Been waiting for another episode if the firebird. Car is looking awesome
Awesome job
From Fire-turd to Fired-UP-Burd, that is one hellacious ride!!! She is runnin' like a scalded dawg!!! Kudos to another sweetly-rehabbed rig and BONUS kudos for that well-bought lift - keepin' it inside the BB ballpark! Cheers!!!
Ah, auto's are junk 😂... Glad you have a lift in the shop now 💪🏻, going to be a great help.
A 4 speed is gonna make that Firebird so much more fun to drive and play with.
That thing you call a drive shaft is called a prop shaft in the uk just so you know guys love your videos
