Really happy you guys have got 4 poster now 😀 you deserve the success
Thanks Nick! 😊
With the fire bird, being some what of a America Classic.. I would like to see some kind of a full restore (Budget wise) like you did with the Porche.
Agreed these 1970s 2nd generation Firebirds and all their variants are iconic American classics recognised throughout the world. This car fully deserves some sympathetic restoration treatment. Considering it's been idle for so long it's in remarkable shape.
U can buy a new interior for that they repop
pontiac rebuilds are the best and rarest
YOU MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB, THANK YOU!
Huge congrats on 4 post lift .🎉 Amazing job and work on TA 💯🎯💪
Thank you!! We really appreciate it! 😃
I came here for the videos. I will keep coming back for many reasons. One that stood out to me in this video was how sincerely thankful he is to the fans. I thought that was really awesome!
We’re really glad to have you! So appreciative to viewers for watching, and allowing us to rescue!!! ☺️
Jim Rockford would be proud
Happy Monday y'all! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that your week got off to a great start today! As soon as I saw this car again, The Rockford Files theme started playing in my head! 😂
Happy Monday to you Also. Have a great week.
Happy Monday to you too!😎👍
Most of his Formulas gad hood slits like GTO. James Garner owned his own production co. so he got to choose what car he drove on the show. He liked Firebirds and there was a Pontiac dealer nearby the studio office.
Rockford did not drive formulas. He drove esprit’s. The base model. None of his cars ever had the formula hood
Be nice to see a link for the parts you bought.
Congrats on the 4 post lift, will make repairs and restorations a lot easier and better on your backs 😅
true but like alot of channels, getting beyond the average hobbyist now.
Thanks so much! It’s definitely been a huge help! 😃
@@Jstme303We try to keep true to our roots. Waiting and saving for years now to get to the point of having a lift. We live week to week. It was a very inexpensive one. But truly, something we felt would help tremendously with our rebuild efforts here on the channel.
I get that but so many channels get so out of touch. This is one of the best out there. @@BudgetBuildz
Great content, in my opinion anyone who finds these beautiful cars and brings them back to life is providing a public service. New subscriber from London
LESSS GOOO SHES BACK
Luxury Lift.....so deserved....you two must really appreciate that lift....The wig sketch was really funny....🤔😳😏😏😀🇬🇧 Love my 7 speed Audi automatic though...lol...
I love when you guys work on the firebird
Dad is a star.
The Bird of Fire is coming along nicely!!!!! The Mullet Man scene was the "gas" neato man!!!
Great floors on that old Bird. She definitely will be more fun with the 4 speed.
Good Deal on the lift/hoist installation.
This is one of my favorite RUclips channels. These guys are so down to earth and genuine.
Can't say how many times I've said to myself; Them good ole boyz sure do need a lift. Bravo!
Firebird and the camper! Gonna be two great series! Hi from Nebraska 😊
Super cool love ❤️ it !
Things are on the up gentleman😂😂. My profound congratulations.
Great job, man! We gotta get you a Rockford Files leather jacket to match!
I had a 76 Formula back in the 80's. It was a 400 4 speed. LOVED that car.
A Firebird and a mullet a match made in heaven. Heck all you need is some Lynard Skynard and all will be right in the world. Congrats on the lift that just saved you a lot of work going forward.
Hooray for the lift! That's huge. Love the 4 speed.
"It was cheap...we'll have to figure out the weak spots of it..." I have a lot of stuff like that.😄
The 4 speed is exactly the way to go. Congratulations on the shop upgrade! That is a game changer!
Just had to watch from the beginning again. Awesome car as usual. I like the banter you have with your dad. That's special
Nothing like a 4 speed behind a healthy V8 👍👍🇦🇺
My dad and I did a 4 speed swap on his gto recently. All I can say is it’s better in every way 😂 love the vid as always
I appreciate the step by step on the 4 speed installation. I had never seen one before and you took out the mystery of it and showed us how to work through the challenges that you faced along the way to get er done. Thanks again!
4 speed in a Pontiac can never go wrong !
Glad to see you guys have a lift, I've been watching since you brought the Porsche home, and all you've done is get better and better at bringing these cars back to life. 😁👍
Wey, that sure lifted my spirits!😊
Congrats, the lift is a game changer!
Good to see you get the lift. Happier to see the Bird get a 4 speed. Great build on the old Pontiac. Can't wait for the next video.
Y'all did an amazing job on the 4speed change over.
Every time I see that car all I think about is Rockford Files. Great video ✌🏽
Super upgrade w/ lift! Youll love it! Congrates.
Good choice with the 4 speed!
Great work! 👍
I'm hoping for a fifth episode showing off the new interior.
BTW, I have two Pontiac Firebid cars in my garage. A Pontiac Firebird 350 convertible, built in 1968 and a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 6.6 liter, built in 1978. Both in very good original condition after restoration.
Nice score on the lift!!
I loved the Rockford Files😁

Great work on making it a proper sports car by putting in the third pedal! CONGRATS on the lift I am very envious of the lift!!
Hi guys that Firebird Formula sounds real good 👍 like the workmanship
Thanks for another, Brother !!
I love that car and there's hardly any rust and it sounds awesome, that would look great re-built it didn't hang about either, they were well built in those days compared to these days. keep it up guys love it and your wig lol.

Mr. B. Here ! That’s a lot of 💩💩 in that interior ! Nice lift ! Nice job guys !
Glad to see you have a lift, so much better than crawling around under the vehicles. Great video too, pity that the gearbox has issues but it's an opportunity to learn. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Yeah Brothers, that lift is JUST what the doctor ordered! I need to get something like that too, then maybe I'll feel like working on something. Keep up the great vids and glad I'm subscribed!
That's a powerful video keep doing more DIY God bless you all Best of the best ❤️
Nice work chaps made a good job there! Like the way you rotate the projects 👍👍
Your backs will thank you for the 4 post lift! And your family should appreciate the safety aspect of it too.
Manuals are great in the country, but in stop and go on a freeway for your morning commute, or crawling through downtown traffic in you daily rush hour home, not so much.
my favorite build so far want to see it finished
Lube. That. Clutch. Pedal. Pivot!!😆
Haha 😅 I believe I need to clearance the firewall just a bit more. What’s funny though is I didn’t even hear it when driving, the camera just picks it up like crazy 😁
🎉really enjoyed this video thank you for sharing this with us.
I love your channel and I specially love what you did with the Firebird. I cannot wait to see the interior installation and bodywork. Looking forward to the next video on the Pontiac.
A 4 speed is gonna make that Firebird so much more fun to drive and play with.
A cool car like that deserves a nicer dash!
You got the lift😊. Deal changer. I very familiar with Liberty, Easley, Seneca.
Thanks!
Awsome guys and you derserved the 4 post lift for all the amazing work🔥🔥
Unreal no one sponsored you a lift. Hang tough, thx for the content
From Fire-turd to Fired-UP-Burd, that is one hellacious ride!!! She is runnin' like a scalded dawg!!! Kudos to another sweetly-rehabbed rig and BONUS kudos for that well-bought lift - keepin' it inside the BB ballpark! Cheers!!!
I'm thrilled for you guys getting a lift. Definitely a game changer.

4 speed manual - yes!!! ❤
Wow what a pain! Looking good!
What a gem!
Your dad is awesome.
Don't worry about that Saginaw, it'll hold up.
Sweet! You have the Saginaw with the ratios I like. That's a three grove.
That’s going to be fun!
One of the worst places you usually find rot is where front brackets on rear leaf springs.majority of camaro and firebird had this problem,do you get titles with most of these cars.great find on your lift, that will be game saver for you…great video as always.keep it up.kudos to you and your dad.👍👍👍😎😎😎
She started out a little rough but is looking like it has good bones.Looking good
Mr Budget and Mr Buildz absolutely enjoying the cars and content thankyou , from down Under , regards Rob.
28:00 climbing into the footwell upside down to change pedals is one thing. Videoing the whole thing is really impressive 👏
GREAT JOB.........OK FINISH THE INTERIOR
So glad you got a hoist, the value accrues to all us viewers just as much
