@Steedoj Lol as a Frieza main with no good stamina breaks, it's my only option to use it. I've tested Special Beam Cannon (Beast) with Justice Blade using the kick with the ult, but it's very inconsistent and will just go straight through your opponent. Try at your own risk, but it's really cool when you land it!

The most powerful thing about this ultimate is that it’s technically one of the grab ultimates. It’s best used close to the end of a stamina break so that even if their stamina recovers, it’s already too late.
Seeing SSJ3, (which was my favorite form for a LONG time), be relevant in modern day XV2 makes me very happy

This Ultimate is one of my favorites because the receiver has to take the entire thing but one drawback I don’t really like is it’s activation speed but I see why it’s like that so it’s fair. I’d give this Ultimate a 6/10, really nice move with good utility IMO
It's a 9/10 for me because very few ults force your opponent to take damage (only other I know of is hits ult) without them just limit bursting or evasiveing

I’ve been playing the game again after a long break. All the moves from this dlc are awesome in my opinion. Just sucks that I run into the sweats in pvp almost immediately when I’m trying to have fun 😂😂
Ice Cannon into either of the new ultimates is such a cool combo.
You can do combos whit Gohan beast's grab, it works at almost any point of the combo or after any knockback
Tested with Frieza Race: Apocalyptic Burst does NOT scale off of Ki Blast. Normal form and Golden form both did the same amount of damage.
Paralyze and apocalyptic burst works too well together
you can do it fully charged with earth attack that one cooler move i think it was where it blinds them and lock them off u. and u can prolly also use it fully charged if u do earthling X Y into time control fully charged. if time control hits its a guaranteed as they cant use an evasive or limit burst while frozen by it
The easiest places to land it is either immediately after breaking your opponent's guard (Charged hit while they're either blocking or using an Ultimate) or after you knock them down to the ground after their stamina is broken, like the full Male Saiyan heavy combo.

I watched this video then did some testing with Apocalyptic Burst. Found out Petrifying Spit works to combo into a fully charged Apocalyptic Burst.
Hey Steed,. Apperently you can use Demon Ray to combo into Special Beast Cannon's kick. I haven't tried it out online though.
But a Female Sayian, Five Y's (Or most of the X Combo) into Ki Cannon, Demon Ray, then Special Beast Cannon does 16K Damage with max Super & Basic Attack.
Demon Ray in general is good for comboing certain Ults with it, Full Beast Combo into Demon Ray can let you use Sign of Awaking or 4X Kamehameha for example, not pratical for online but it's really fun.
Edit: Should note that you have to be pretty close to someone when you use Demon Ray to combo it into Speical Beast Cannon, to fair and it'll drop.
I did a combo with this ult to see if it works
first ki blast cannon, then freeze bridge, then side bridge, then do a combo that will make the ki blast canon to stagger the person, next do it with freeze beam, last is the fully charged Apocalyptic Burst. you do need to be a bit close to land it also it can be hard depending on the race after the stamina break

They fixed the Glitch with Adult Gohans Gi where it turns black when using any Super Saiyan transformation.
Dabora use his spit attack it will allow you to use the heavy version of the move.

Ok so godly display ki blast scales with strike but the last punch with a ki explosion is a ki blast according to the game, makes sense
The way attack types and damage types work is not really explained in-game. An attack can only scale off of one attack type (basic attack, basic ki blast, strike super, blast super), BUT it can have multiple damage types, which instead scale off the enemy defense stats. For example: Godly Display scales exclusively off of the users strike super stat, but the sphere still deals blast damage, and thus scales off the enemies blast defense.
What if you tried to combine the ice field attack with Special Beast Cannon?
I use sauzor blade but I go all the way to the sky and then stamina break and then use it and then you’ll be stuck in the air for like 15 seconds and then I use the apocalyptic burst
This move makes me Apocalyptic Bust. Just wish it had some meat behind the sound effects but that's just a general issue with this game where every hit could do massive damage but the weak sfx makes it feel like you're smacking someone with a pool noodle.

Recently learned, today, apocalyptic burst can counter demon flash strike, at least the kick apparently. Tested it in photo mode. Edit: new discovery, it only counters if your character is bigger than the opponents.
Also new discovery, just tested it a bit and it looks like Demon Slash Strike wins if they kick the aura around your character during the counter, but not the character itself. At the right distance, the counter activates the kick without freezing the opponent. Also found out that if you lock off before using the counter, the kick wins regardless of distance, and also stuns whoever it hits for some reason.

So I thought that I'd be added to the TP Medal shop later in future updates.

X Y X Y into apocalyptic burst works with a female majin and it connects without being stamina broken
All of you probably know this, but the beast form combo is so good for the new moves, you can get a fully charged AB off of the big stun hit in the beast combo, and you can grt a very free Kick beast cannon as well
Don’t think anyone has said it yet but Comet strike into the ult. Don’t know if it works online tho
I landed that move while the guy was trying to ult me with a warp Kamehameha 😂😂he teleported right into the kick

The ult is guaranteed but you have to consider timing if you're WAY off the ground. I originally had Rosé Kamehameha as the ult and the initial knock back was timed just as they kit the ground. Made the combo so much more disrespectful.
Steed wake up demonic destruction is not trash you can use it multiple times like pre nerf sledgehammer on the ground

What are your attributes of your male saiyan tho?
I believe he runs 125 basic, 30 str, 125 ki blasts, 42 stam and the rest to hp. Not a very good spread for using strikes. Also his saiyan is I believe bulky frame and tall, but not super tall
I run 54 health, 80 stamina, 32 basic, 70 strike super, 125 Ki blast super.

Ahh yes, more ultimates that do heavy damage and you can’t get out of it once you take the first hit, and into the animation of the ultimate.
these ultimates are for basic attack builds to add on extra damage at the end of their combos, it sucks that cheesers can use them but they're needed

5:08-5:13 Don't be surprised. The average D. Burn user is literally too stupid to bring out the full potential of that evasive. You'll see sweats that'll start comboing a DB user then ki cancel and step block hoping to PB the inevitable D. Burn because the user is way too predictable. It becomes a top 3 evasive the less frequently you use it but again, the average user can't help themselves.
