The French had Bicornes way back in the early part of the Napoleonics Wars when you talk about the Metal Commander . Trouble with the French sprues is not enough epaulettes for both Grenadiers and Voltiguers ( ie Gx4 , fx4, fx4 ,co x4 , fx4 , Voltiguers x 4 =24 )
Noticed the bases are clear for these over the grey types that come with Bolt Action kits on the French commander.
Yeah, I put the commanders on some clear Litko bases I had laying around.
@@WarGamingNewbHistorical Sort of like them better as they would blend in with the game terrain/map
Yeah, they're pretty nice if a little expensive (compared to included bases). I think these are still about $6.99 for 25 on Amazon.
Nice set my man looks easy to put together with those full body. The officers looks amazing, especially the english one with the umbrella. Cheers.
They're so easy to put together. I agree, fantastic set and fantastic figures.

Yeah, I noticed that about the epaulettes. I don't recall if the Late Line Infantry box had them as well....
Did French Commanders still use the Bicorne by Waterloo?
