      "Therefore" means "for that reason". "So" is more common.
      The roads are icy, therefore I had to buy snow tires.

      It's a slang expression made famous by a singer who has a song with this title, "Cat Down the Road".
      It means someone in the same situation as you.
      It's not common. It's new.
      I would say, "We're in the same boat."

      A LITTLE cat - size (1 little cat)
