How is your quest going so far? Were you able to reproduce some of them? 🙂 I am always wondering if that kind of sound can be perfectly emulated. Seems pretty difficult to have the same depth and color of that kind of hardware synth.

Amazing sounds! Just to understand your workflow here, what is the "Subsequent..." audio effect ? Is that provided by Moog to automatically set the preset on the synth via midi?
Before you started turning knobs, i thought the video of the subsequent was the UI of the plugin and I thought wow, what a badass idea to render out a realistic looking sub37 and have it be the GUI for the plugin lol. There is a plugin right? I never see it.
great video.... your presets make me feel again the feeling of "need" buy this synth + your presets... Each preset make my brain explode with different integrations with other sounds. I only have the push 2 and Komplete kontrol s49. ( still didnt get skills for use push 2) . Do you think if i buy the subsequent as first analog synth, would be a good way for learn more fast the sound composition instead be using vst with ableton ?
thank you, to be honest gear won't help you to learn faster, it's your envy and dedication to it. Now obviously the Moog Sub37 it's a beautiful synth to play with, the feeling and sounds are amazing too, that might help motivate you. The price might help to motivate you has you don't want to spend more than a 1000£ in a synth to let it take the dust haha !
@@audioreakt my fear its got the sub 37 and left it got dust as my komplete kontrol and push 2. The thing its that with vst you must be using the mouse or need to map the midi psrsmeters and it make the learning a little more hard. I would like get the sub 37 and the tr8 for start developing ideas more fast.. But im afraid to get them and be only clening the dust each month 😓

hello! ableton does not allow me to put sub editor external and effect. to do that i have to open midi and put sub37 editor in it. then another midi track with external inst and rout it to moog.... why ? how did u do it ?
I use Ableton Ext.Instrument to send midi, then the VST editor, be carefull because you have two Sub37 vst, one is an instrument, one is an effect. Use the effect one if you use Ableton Ext.Instrument

no they are ableton rack I made for each preset, it's main ly delay and rebverb

yes you have a vst but it's only for midi control, there is not sound out of it.

Is this a preset patches for the moog or midi clips?
You have both , 117 Moog presets with 117 midi clip (one created especially for each presets)

Sub 37 and subsequent 37 presets are compatible with each other, but they are not with the sub 25.

The effect rack coming with the presets are indeed working with Ableton live Suite 10.1 or higher
