    Nice one Andy, a view round every bend, that Northern edge must have some of the best view you will ever see.
    Looking forward to your future planned walks, done most of what you mentioned but never the Derwent Watershed, it's all planned, maps and everything in a folder whether I ever get round to doing it I don t know. Such a beautiful walk, all the best Pat

    Very nice Andy, can't beat a big old circular with a camp out. You covered some miles there mate in that sort of time, would have taken me twice that at least. Great knowledge of the peaks and stones, some very unique as well, love the flat head bloke and the pigs head amongst others. Always great to see you out and about Andy, and good to hear your upcoming plans, look forward to them. Thanks for sharing and ATB. Jim.

    Firstly, thank you for stopping to have a chat with me when I bumped into you just past Fox House Inn. You were with your mate just off to Stanage Edge trig point, then for an overnight wild camp. It was a real pleasure for me to meet you, having watched a lot of your videos. Great video again. I liked how you pointed out the different Edges and peaks, really helps me orientate myself to just where you are. Anyway, thanks again for the chat.

    • @AndrewBeavers
      @AndrewBeavers  5 лет назад

      It's something i wanna do a bit more of this year Dave get a few long distance walks in with camps & ayy i slept well lol..it was mad hot up there like a summers day,21 deg's it was when i set off.It's great scenery up there & the northern edge doesn't get the attention it deserves,that edge is not as easily to get upon from that side as the southern edge is & thats probably half the reason why.tfw mate..Andy.

      Hi Mark been walking the peak district many year mate so you get to recognise areas from other places.its a good old slog the full walk i can crack on at a rate & i did it in around 6 & half hour so id say a steady walk would be a good 8 or 9 hours maybe,always wanted to do it over 2 days with a camp having done it in day twice before.tfw & the sub mate..Andy.

    Great vid Andy, really enjoyed watching and going to watch it again with my OS map out ! Tremendous moon shot for the little compact canon you can really see the craters Tycho and Copernicus well. (assume it was on a tripod?) Good pace you must be going at as well - i'm always surprised how slow I am - not my age … just taking in the views lol. ATB Phil

    • @AndrewBeavers
      @AndrewBeavers  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Phil i'm quite a quick walker so i can tab on at a good pace & still admire the views as that's what it's all about.i took the pic with the little canon hand held & quite amazed at it's capability tbh it's a cracking little camera,i may have to borrow it from my wife more often instead of lumping my big dslr around lol..tfw..Andy.
