Just bought this same black car in active guise, replacing a 2013 semi automatic saloon allure. The new car doesn't have the electronic parking brake, the no key entry which I found to be rubbish and temperamental along with the glitchy semi automatic gear box - avoid! It also doesn't have the heated seats- love them or loathe them and no rear parking camera-so what? The active 508 SW manual is an excellent car. The gearbox is slightly high geared in that unless I am on a motorway at 70 MPH, I don't hit 6th gear. This car is very comfortable and oh so quiet. I love it and so do my passengers. With DAB radio and a good sat nav (the old model was rubbish and I used my phone) I can recommend this motor. It is a well put together, solid, well built car.
A very well put together car. Peugeot have cum a long way in build quality and power outputs, we already have a Peugeot 208GTI and find great so can't wait for the 2015 508 to hit the Australian shores, regards John Tasmania Aust.
3:28 Is the road tax 20 pounds a year?! Where is that? Here in Holland you pay 408 euros per quarter for this car, making a total road tax of 1632 euros (1201 pounds) a year.
Berenvacht Here in Finland, I pay 569€. With car insurance and all the other taxes, I pay 1650€ per year. My car has a low emission level around 130 G/KM CO_2.
