Thanks so much for this! I used this recipe and supplies from your website and it worked great. My only advice is to sift the henna into the mixing bowl, or else you’ll end up with lumps.
thank you. I'm just learning henna. do you have a video on how you feel that cones as well? I would like to order your kit but I want to make sure I know what I'm doing LOL
I will make sure to make one for you , you can always use the bottles if the cones are too much to start with .. www.shopglittertattoos.com/2_oz_Luer_Lock_Bottle_and_tips_for_henna_p/0llbhk.htm
Hi I'm a begginer on Henna and I want to make it myself. I know that you sell the henna powder but I wanna know what to buy because every pack I encounter online it says that is for the hair...help?
We sell awesome henna kits that have all you need and are safe for the skin. body art quality is a must! check out this page www.shopglittertattoos.com/category_s/258.htm
the oil i love to use is Cajeput. smells amazing and inexpensive. check out the henna page we have it listed there :) www.shopglittertattoos.com/henna_tattoo_kits_and_supplies_s/107.htm
it must be an oil with high terpenoids... If you r oil is not high quality, for henna stain will not be nice and dark.. its easier to order old for henna from a henna supplier like us , we already test it before selling it... and its inexpensive.
@@ArtFactoryUS thank you!!! can i ask a few more questions? i have jojoba and grapeseed oil on hand, would those be good or do i need a specific type of oil? i notice all tutorials seem to use different oils each. also, would you recommend a bottle applicator (with the many tips) for beginners for detailing or would you suggest i stick to using the plastic cone?
@@nk3378 you can use a bottle applicator though they get tough on the hands after a while.. Cones are easier to control once you get used to them because they are much softer. the oil is key ingredient in henna. If it does not have enough terps in it, the stain will not be as dark. some add other oils for the smell but ideally Cajeput or Lavender of high quality will work best. (not the same as soap oils)
Actually, most henna artists use preserved lemon juice because the acidity levels are consistant. Sure you can use fresh lemons but the results may vairy.

I can't understand that what amount of lemon juice you have used.
is that 1/4 cup lemon juice? couldnt hear. thank yoy
1 + 1/4 cup
Omg awesome
What other options do i have if i dont have henna? Turmeric or something similar?
Henna is necessary because it is what stains the skin and leaves the temp tattoo.
Do you filtered after the paste or not ?
You can strain the paste through a panty hose/stocking to get any lumps or pieces out before coning it.

What do I do if I don’t have lemon?
That is an industrial amount of henna. What about the ingredients for a smaller batch?
you would just divide it... How much henna you would like to make? Maybe we can help?
Assalamualaikum everyone
I will definitely try this at my home
Inshaallah

What ratio do I use if I don’t want to make my entire pack? Should I just make all of it and freeze the rest or?
We just make a big batch and freeze it all. you can freeze the powder too but keeping in air tight container in a pantry will work well too.
You can just halve all the measurements. But I do think it’s better to just make the whole thing and freeze it, you’ll have less waste that way.
what kind of oil did you mix with that? and do you sell it also?
the oil i love to use is Cajeput. smells amazing and inexpensive. check out the henna page we have it listed there :)

I can not but anything on any website on amazon. but all the henna they have there say they are for hair. do you know f any good henna on amazon?
Henna is used for hair and for tattoos use rasjastanhi henna on amazon
Check out our website for henna powder, henna paste, and other henna supplies! www.artfactorystore.com
Is that henna powder or henna powder for hair?
can be used for hard but its triple sifted for body art quality use.
how long is its shelf life once you make it?
It has to be kept in the freezer. Henna does not spoil ifkept frozen but it may loose some of its stain power if kept more than a year..

we do sell it on our website. www.artfactorystore.com
can it be olive oil
no, it must be an oil that help release the dye. with high terps. Lavender (of high quality) works well too
No, olive oil does not have enough terps to activate the stain.
@@ArtFactoryUS How about castor oil?
What oil?
I use the oils from our henna section from our website. Not all essential oils are created equal.
Cajeput or lavender works best
can you please mail me a pack of henna
you can order it online
Saw the plastic lemon bottle. I’m out
