- Building a 6mm scale diorama is a challenging and rewarding project.
By using the Phrozen 8K Mini phrozen3d.net/B4sA7,
I can print tiny houses that are incredibly detailed and sharp all the way to 22 µm.
This makes them perfect for painting and adding to my diorama.
I also needed to adapt my standard terrain making skills to work at this scale.
This means using smaller materials and techniques that will still look realistic.
I'm excited to share my progress with you as I build this diorama.
I hope you'll follow along and learn some new techniques along the way!

The Lazy Forger is great! I wonder if you could link his My Mini Factory in the description so people can find these cool models too! I would love to see more 6mm stuff as I am getting into that scale too. I backed the Lazy Forger Campaign for Full Spectrum Dominance too and hope to get some games in on a nice table like this!

Man yes! An absolute blast! I always wanted to create in such a scale. I love it. I do not have a 3D Printer (for now), but you nailed it. Really good Project! Since im not into wargaming and more into Dioramabuilding and sculpting, i love this content on your Channel.
You kinda taught me all i needed when i finally started building Dioramas a few years ago. Thanks man. And now i am someone that is able to give techniques and tips to other folk :)

Another excellent project. Before the sanding stage the foam makes awesome ice-world shapes. Could be worth a look for future dioramas.

You can mix fine sand or grout or coffee gounds with pva and paint and use it as a levelling glue to stick things to land forms done it for years

I'd say that a 2x3 feet table would be perfect! I always play on that size, it really gets the job done!

I have that Lazy Forger set and printed them up sized for 15mm scale and they came out beautifully on a Phrozen 4K.

If only it was a wee bit bigger, in the 15mm scale range, then I could definitely see my post apocalyptic survivors defending their homestead from a Raider/Mutant/New Age Order attack on their settlement 🤘
All our stuff is designed to upscale to 15mm without issues! The general ratio would be 240% for 15mm, but i've seen *many* people doing so! :)
And now play a tiny game of Kill Team on it with Epic scale minis :P
Or a game of Full Spectrum Dominance, which plays on the same size of killteam but in 6mm! (that is FSD terrain)
Looks awesome, would make a good display board for fsd. The lazy forger's terrain is nuts, insane amount of detail and character.

Nice little build, turned out great. I’ve just ordered a war of the worlds tripod model kit in 1:350 scale so will be keeping an eye out for some small buildings for a little diorama. I need to get hold of some of that sea foam for trees as well

Looking good, if you're sticking with the smaller scales, might be worth looking at Pendraken miniatures, they seem to do every 10mm range you could need.

Battletech is 6mm scale. Picked up these same buildings for terrain for the game.
