BMW Light Control Module (LCM) Removal - 2000-2006 X5

The light control module manages the headlight and turn signal function in all 200-2006 X5 vehicles. The module is prone to failure, especially in vehicles with the notorious sunroof drain leak that causes it to short out. Classis symptoms of a damaged LCM are: headlight(s) stay on after the vehicle is shut off and/or malfunctioning turn signals. i was told its LCM but just disconnected battery and ran flat, reset ECU connected and all working fine

You can get an LCM from eBay. Make sure it's the same part number as your existing LCM. You can get your existing part number from PASoft.
