As someone who watches you for sewing inspiration it was such a nice surprise to see you delve into knitting as well. I love watching knitting podcasts so it will be nice to combine both crafts in one. I've also recently finished the Miles Shirt Jacket but I used Wooldreamers Manchelopis which is an unspun yarn (I think it's the one specified in the pattern). I love Ozetta's patterns. So clear and well explained. I'm hoping to make another MSJ soon.
I made a very similar pattern draft to your boxy top, I decided on my second round to add inseam pockets, I was thrilled with the result. It just elevated a rather plain garment to something I would most likely wear quite often because its now so comfortable. I just caught the bottom of the pocket in the seam when i hemmed, so they dont hang down and most likely be visible when in use.
You are always such an inspiration, I actually started sewing my own wardrobe after watching some of your videos. Would love to see videos of all of your future makes! 😊
I love your plans, and excited to see how your Ozetta jacket turns out. I love her designs. I'd also love to hear how your dyeing experiments work. I have done a bit of natural dyeing, eco printing leaves onto a sock blank, but have no advice to offer regarding dyeing with coffee or tea.
So fun! Thank you for sharing!! I really love the pants you made and am excited to see how your color blocked ones turn out ❤ I’m thinking that my first spring/summer make will be a pair of Tapioca Trousers hacked into shorts but I haven’t thought much farther than that haha
I'm so excited you're working on a pants pattern! I remember I found your channel when I was researching pants pattern sewalongs a few years ago, so it's lovely news. full circle moment!! I can't wait to see what you come up with. and you've inspired me to make some May Jeans this season myself : )
I love your style! The blue linen would look awesome in the oversized shirt and matching shorts. I’m going to try linen this summer, I just can’t decide what to sew! Your knitting course looks interesting and fun! I have arthritis in my hands though. I’m a little afraid to enroll!
I would just love if you could do a segment on how to choose fabric online, as the fabric stores around here in BC are so poor, I would love to purchase online, but am not sure about weights etc. I have sewed with linen which is one thing, but now I would like to try some knits with French terry, bamboo etc but as out of my depth. I don’t want a thin t-shirt knit I want something medium weight, how would I go about this….It looks like you buy a lot of fabric at one time, this shirt for instance that you are planning, how much fabric did you buy for that, it looks like so much, I am just never sure what to do. Thanks Georgia in North Delta
Is it possible to prevent the bias seam stretching if you use tapes on both fabrics on the seam line and then rip it off? The shoulder seam is under stress all the time so a light cotton tape could help? If you do not mind the stitches showing you might add it after you have opened the seam allowances apart. The bias is not easy to tame.

The jeans with the white top stitching are gorgeous. All your things are very nice and they all look so well made.

Lovely plans!😊
You could try turmeric as a natural dye… I think the yellow would look great against the white
Great video 📸

I bought the coat pattern from the same lady and I cannot figure it out. Could you help me?
