Hi 12 days ago i slammed the soft area between the elbow and funny bone into the corner of a wood frame - after excruciating pain for the first 10min and feeling like I was on the verge of vomiting , the numbness and electricity died down in my arm and it felt somewhat back to normal - I’ve been keeping a log since then of activities that seem to cause pain/discomfort and for the most part I’m able to do everything normally even work out with weights - but I noticed with prolonged guitar playing (having my arm bent for long periods of time) seems to activate a pain in the area of my injury - on the 11th day after my injury I tried to do gentle nerve flossing exercises for the ulnar nerve and noticed that when I went to the “salute position” there was a tightness and I couldn’t reach to my forehead - that very night my elbow area was tender and just laying down brought pain in the area - (it seemed to get worse after the nerve flossing exercises) I was wondering who I should see for this issue - any medical advice would be greatly appreciated thank you
See an orthopedic for the elbow or wrist, however if you are having pain with the nerve doing certain activities, then just dont do them and give your nerve time to heal instead of rushing it like its a muscle, also try to keep your elbow relatively straight(including while sleeping) and with time symptoms should get better
See a neurologist to have an EMG (Electromyography) done. Find out how your nerves are working. I was sent for surgery right after that. I am now 14 days post-op 👍
If we do these stretches enough and periodically everyday and systematically would it fix and cure the problem or just gives temporary relief? Would appreciate if you could take couple seconds of your time and answer, thanks.
III Eagle III for some reason I missed your question I apologize. Unfortunately I still have no improvement, doctor said surgery can help but I am scared what if get worse.
Jay. Thank you will try again, though I kinda gave up no matter what I do not improving. Got combination of things making it worse I think. Carpal tunnel, radial tunnel syndrome, ulnar, and have to be in front of computer for a living...that doesn’t help I think
@@bozkurtbozok4597 I'd start with first trying to improve you posture. Because whatever you do your condition won't improve if your body isn't in a good posture. Good neck stretches, Shoulder stretches should help with shoulder and neck stiffness as it is the most common reason for Nerve problems in hands. Also don't bend your elbow or in a fully stretched manner. Keep it inbetween. A lil bit bent. In this case more exercises doesn't mean good recovery. So rest plenty and do only some stretches. Do not rest of elbows on anything. Not even a pillow as it will irritate the nerve. Put it under your forearm and let your elbow hang out so that nothing touches it while using a computer. Also don't sit for long periods as it takes a toll on neck and back.
Very clear no babble babble instructions for self help. Subbed.

ever find relief for this?
stretches should not be done periodically everyday. Just do 10 of these everyday and be done. If you stretch more it will irritate the nerve more.
