Legit comparison. Great offensive weapon. Scared defenses like Reggie Miller. But a true guard who could handle the ball. Reg was strictly off the ball.
Thank Howard Schultz. He didn't get the arena he wanted so he spitefully bent the city over and sold out to a dude that took the team to OKC. Schultz is despised in Seattle to this day.
Brown was a hell of a shooter. Great touch and use of the glass.
Thus the term from Downtown...................Downtown Freddie Brown
My generation's Curry and Lillard.

@@Amick44 Brown did it when no one thought to shoot from that far except when forced. So far ahead of his time.
most of them came from tough inside squeezing moves... Freddie sure was something else!
Lots of players could shoot from downtown, but most did so only as a last resort. This paved the way for today's game.
DownTown Freddie Brown man he was smooth 🏀🔥
Downtown was amazing omg with the wizard. Great team
Same commentator now was doing the games in 79. Wow.
Notice no 3pt. Line. Can't imagine there not being 3pters in today's game
Very exciting team in that era.
Shame the city lost that franchise.
Imagine if the Lakers remained in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

doesnt anybody watch this guy?
Man, they were SO much better shooters and players in late 70s to early 90s. Today's basketball is mostly trash.
Did they win?
