I was thinking you just soak them in vinegar lol
Same lol
Mee to 😂
I feed apple scraps to my guinea pigs
They appreciate those apple cores more than I ever could
I need a homemade apple cider recipe please
*Thank you for sharing this!*
That’s so creative!
Just started mine! Loving this cookbook 😊
Amazing!
You can do the same with Pinapple skin but you only need to let it sit for a day in the fridge
Ty
Yes ❤
I love these videos so much
please I don't understand
is it just apple peels
Do we need to stir it everyday or just let it sot?😊
Can u use a rubber band to hold the cloth on the top??
What does it smell like for that 4 weeks? Rot? I need to know, so I know where to put the jar, please.
With just a cloth is that clean for consumption when bacteria can get in
Do you close a lid over the cheesecloth??
“STOP..”” 😂
STAHHHPPPPP
Crunchy
Wouldn't you have to use yeast
Wild yeast and bacteria do the fermenting with this method
Cane sugsr, and filtered water,or spring water for best results 😊
Stuaaap
Fr 😂
This is THE comment I was looking for 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@bizeflouer5759 What does stuaap mean?
Does it matter what kind of apples. Desert or cooking apples?
Is this in your plant you book?
What kind of apples are best to use
op bolte bro
I tried to drink apple cider vinegar once and I threw up everywhere 🤣🤣
Acv will do that if you have something your body wants to get rid of
You gotta dilute it in water in 1:2 ratio.
Don't sip, gulp it. Then drink water to clean your mouth.
I made but was wondering. How long will it last in the fridge?
As long a i know Acv no need store in fridge
Can u use honey instead of sugar
Can u use agave instead of sugar
how long does this last?
Can you do chicken wing's bones?
Can v yellow apple too?
Make one of like orange peels?
You can zest them and add the zest to tea's, cocktails, other drinks and baked goods like pie pastries bread
But if you are not sure if it is organic or chemical free, then do not use apple skin
Stir everyday so I doesn't mold.
Am I missing the recipes somewhere? How much sugar/warm water??? I’d imagine winging it would make super varying degrees of acidity.
❤😢
Never heard of ACV containing sugar. Are you sure this is how it is made?
The sugar is to feed the bacteria that creates the vinegar. It’s very similar to adding sugar to yeast when making bread. There often isn’t sugar in the final product because the bacteria eats it.
Yes, it needs sugar for the fermentation process to take place!
This is not how apple CIDER vinegar is made. You are correct. First you need to make hard apple cider then make vinegar in a double fermentation process to make true apple cider vinegar. This misinformation where people are confusing apple vinegar for apple cider vinegar is spreading like wildfire and pretty soon you won't be able to find a true recipe.
I think I did it wrong everybody in my house has fallen asleep
Do you have to use added sugar with it? I’m trying to cut back on my sugar intake.
the sugar will disappear, because the bacteria will eat and when it is done , no traces at all
This is apple vinegar, not apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is made from apple cider in a double fermentation process.
But is it going to be sour actually?
Am I the only one who noticed that she used the hashtag #vinegar twice?
Only legends know that this is a repost
Like if you knew

Where is the vinegar?
Is that a Jersey accent?
Could we do it without the sugar?
The sugar gets eaten by the bacteria so there isn’t any after fermentation
No, as the bacteria need the sugar to survive and it helps to create the vinegar! By the end of the process, there is no sugar left. Hope this helps 😊
What can I substitute the sugar for?
I think you should use apple pulp rather than apple scrap and sugar.
@@learnandgrowacademy66 thanks!
The sugar is converted to vinegar, so there shouldn't be too much sugar in the final product, depending on how long you ferment
Early. Pin me please
Thats not apple cider vinegar. thats just plain apple vinegar.
Only problem is that the seeds contain arsenic, so they have to be taken out.
Check for mold daily
Why are you yelling? 😭
Hi did you know Apple seeds are poisonous?
They have trace levels of cyanide that won’t kill you, as long as you aren’t just eating them for fun. Not really what I would call poisonous.
they have a bit of cyanide, but is almost nothing
You need yeast to truly make apple cider vinegar... you just made fermented apple juice
Isn't it a bit unhygienic if people have been chewing around the apple core? 😳
if you cut around the core with knife then eat the apple however you like i don't think there's a problem
i cant unhear that california accent now
what’s wrong with your O’s
NO JUST EAT THE ENTIRE APPLE
I think this is missing some critical steps
You can't do it without the sugar??? Sugar is literally offing people slowly but surely... I'll just buy from the store if there's not a way to do it without processed sugar
The sugar is for the bacteria to ferment and turn into vinegar. You could try honey, etc. But I don't think it would work so well. The bacteria will eat the sugar, not you
Store-bought apple cider vinegar probably contains more sugar than this lmao
what is wrong with people like you @Doni B? you do realize that the store bought one is made with the same ingredients, if not even more sugar? "Sugar is literally offing people slowly but surely" - Thats because *you* have no self control. Nor do the ones that sugar is offing. Sugar is fine, carbs are fine. I feel bad for you. Dont make statements that spread like wildfire when you have no idea what youre talking about.
I don't think we 'need' the added sugar as my apple cores have plenty of sugar in them. Week 1 down and it's fermenting nicely - with a cloudy sweet vinegar smell. I'll see how it goes after the 2nd week before filtering for 2nd ferment. Again - we might not need the sugar. As they're scraps I'm not worried bout experimenting :)
@@m_b_a9567also much more refined and of low quality
The funny thing is from this she still throws the scraps out, but makes something else out of them first. You should compost to actually reduce the food waste…
have you seen the amount of waste big companies do on a daily basis, the individual waste is almost insignificant
@@Gabriel.terluk Of course, but this particular example/series is supposed to be eliminating food waste and it doesn’t. It’s still good to get as much use out of the material as possible though. Can’t fault her for that :)
