I remember back in 1996, an article in the Car Magazine discussing hatchbacks breaking the R400k barrier. At the time the R32 was still a concept in scetches. It was just unthinkable. Well that time anyting above 150kw was considered fast and I remember the Toyota Corolla RSi being one of the contenders at 118kw. Back then we had the VR6, the Kadett 200ts, Mazda MX6 with its 120Kw. It was fire❤‍🔥

I personally don't know why we make a big deal of keyless entry and start. The owner will see it as a big convenience factor until one day you find your car is stolen because the criminals also love this feature by reading the signal from your key and passing it on to another criminal who's standing by your car ready to drive it off. You have to block that signal from your key otherwise you potentially in trouble depending on whether your car is high risk or not. In this day and age keyless entry and start is overrated so give me the normal key anyday

i think the locking and press to start should be sepparated.
locking should go back to manual and push to start can stay.

A lot of car tech is gimmickery and not necessary, like being able to tell the car to open window or sunroof for you while the button is right next to your arm and would be quicker.
It allows manufacturers to charge us a lot though 😅
Some tech is useful though like adaptive cruise control 😊

It's not really updated in terms of specs & tech so it'll struggle a lot in sales especially against the VW Polo, its cousin the Peugeot 208 & others but though it looks amazing!🔥👌🏿

Yes it is expensive just like all European and Korean cars. The top model is the same price as a Suzuki Swift Sport and as someone who owned both Suzuki and Opel's I can tell you that the build quality on the Opel is superior especially the interior.

It is built cheaper. Drum brakes at the rear. Smaller engine with less power and torgue.

Corsa did not cook properly here the stove was off, they really misunderstood the assignment on this one. The car aimed at young people should atleast have a sunroof and all the tech gizmos, and they made it worse with the pricing💀

This car is expensive, it's not even sport car. Over R400k for Corsa that can not even follow Polo GTI . The power is low and infotainment not top notch, they are over pricing it.
