- In today's #ASMR video, we take a different approach to the usual eyes-closed sessions. Instead, you will focus on a series of lights and light-based instructions such as following a light, counting how many times you see a light and generally just focusing on a certain point. There are two versions of this video, back-to-back, the first with brown noise and the second without. Timestamps below. As always, thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy the video.

The brown noise is amazing. It kinda sounds like a gentle far away rain or the ocean far away at night.
i love when people flash the light right into my eyeballs. most asmrtists will angle it so its not so bright but i love the insane brightness into my retina

Thank you very much for providing a version without brown noise. Personally, it really bothers me. I find it distracting and it reminds me of when I had a horrible ear infection. That being said, other people can like what they like and I think it's great that you provide the options to watch with or without.

Your videos have always helped me sleep so much. You have the perfect voice to help me relax. I first found you from these light videos, which I didnt think was my thing until it put me right to sleep! I work a hard physical labor job and i sometimes have trouble sleeping dreading tomorrow. But your math/instruction videos always put me right to sleep which is a blessing when I have to be up at 5 am and cant sleep.. thank you for what you do my man!

Awesome transition at 13:05 … you smiled because you knew it was cool af. I feel like when you rake the camera, it’s more believable and relaxing. In general, you are able to talk slowly and provide calm, where there’s been a gradual shift to fast paced ASMR. You’re so close to 100k, but I’m sure that is one stop amongst many upcoming. Something I've noticed of all "follow the light" videos from all asmrtists is that the light doesn't consistently point at the center of the lens as the light traverses around the screen. It can break the immersion for me if the light dims and it shines towards off of the screen. As I am tracking the light, I'd imagine the light is always directed at my eyes to follow. (think of a cop performing a field sobriety test with a light and the light is always aimed directly at the eyes so the officer can view the eye movement ticks)
I don't know if this would cause too much lens flare or if anyone else even notices. It's just an idea to play around with.

I love the brown noise!! I do wonder, does it negatively impact the algorithm for you if I only watch the first half of the video?
I don't think it would necessarily negatively impact me as such but it would certainly be better if you watched all of it. But then if you fall asleep it would keep on playing anyway. 👀

If you're tired enough, your eyes will get tired and close without you really knowing and you'll fall asleep. 🙏

If you're referring to the description, it's purely a suggestion. I find watching ASMR without them better when trying to sleep as they can't get in the way. Just a personal preference of mine that I recommend to others. 🙏

Hi Samuel, with all respect, your work is AWESOME, but i don't think someone who trying to sleep, likes someone else to shine a very bright light to his/her eyes while they are open, or maybe not everyone, but i found it kind of disturbing, wish you all the best. 🙏🙏
