Imagine if you have to fight all 4 at the time instead of each per time
Super easy. Cast haste on rydia and use bahamut 4 to 6 times. Also lit 3 at this point in game does 9,999 to all four of them and you have 2 people that can use it. In some versions of the game you can use virus on bosses, pause the game cause sap doesn't recognize the game is paused, and they die without you doing anything.
@@azinyefantasy4445 Yeeeaaaah at this point I will have definitely killed Bahamut without Kain's jump or Edward's hide and have Rydia with Tier 3 spells...
The game would be more hard

I wonder if the unlimited mp trick works on this version of the game. It works on SNES and the SNES classic version. (to be clear, I love this game, I have been playing the ever loving crap out of it since it came out, I just like finding exploits from watching speed runners)
This is a beautiful remake of a wonderful game.
I wish Square did that with FF5 and FF6. They could make great remakes of them, but I guess its hard to improve upon greatness.

Ah I just noticed that some of the music is in the Endwalker benchmark trailer lol!
Endwalker is drawing a LOT of cues from FFIV :)

@@N3rd_House I have not played FFIV since I was 8 lol and have been debating if I want to play it again. I know Endwalker will have some heavy FFIV ties. I saw your vid and decided to watch your video to see if I wanted to purchase this on steam and I noticed the music haha!

What edition of Final Fantasy IV is this? I thought I was playing the recent edition but this one is so much better than the PSP T_T
mir khan This is the Steam version, which is a port of the DS version. The PSP version is the best, as it includes Interlude and After Years.
along with the ability to switch your party members. unless this was added in the pc ver. in the psp version you can basically have anyone from the game in your party.

Did you know that healing item and healing magic deals dmg to the 1st of the 4 . And the 3rd one is weak to the white magic attack called holy or something its due to a bug

Wait, really? Valvalis's tornado just misses everyone? that was like the whole challenge of the fight. It was Weak on everyone, meaning everyone suddenly got reduced to 1-9 HP. What a rug-pull this was.

Man, not sure why they keep making Cecil less and less cool every remake this game gets.
Must be some kinda shitty chinese trend no-one wants or asked for.
This is such a garbage game, everything's atrociously ugly, even the UI, the text, the sound design is laggier and clunkier than on SNES, the framerate is also lower.
I will never understand how anyone could find those "3D remakes" better than the original. I get it when it comes to FFIII, since some NES/Famicom games really aged poorly, but there's no excuse for FFIV, the original is leagues better in every department.
I prefer the original, or better yet - the PSP version.
This is just what they gave us on Steam back then (this video is 7 yrs old); now we have the Pixel Remasters.
Technically this was only meant to be a ds game so it kind of fits and runs better on that but yeah
