Which brand of those synthetics resembles most real rubber? I dont want my original mounts to become too stiff

That's the whole point of this to replicate stiff mounts, I think anything to replicate a soft rubber will breakdown and fall apart over a short period of time.

Can you please tell me, 3 days ago I put the polyurethane in my mounts and I'm waiting 4 more days till they are ready. Some dude on RUclips said the polyurethane will end up melting because of the engine heat, did anything like that happened to you? Thank you

I'm not sure about melting, lots of people run aftermarket poly mounts. I have not used them enough to know the result.

Did you find much benefit in replacing the passenger motor mount in your Mazda 3 despite already having the stiff rear motor mount?

  • @DunOpondo

I use that for my engine and gearbox, it's nicely stiff and lasts long

I just replaced my motor mounts on my Mazda 3 not too long ago, it’s such a game changer

Hey Colton, I just had a quick question for the Mazda3 god himself.
Going off of your older video on the LED headlight replacement for 2nd gens, are both high and low beam bulbs H11? I wanna swap both but I’m not sure which to buy online.

I think it depends what trim you have, a quick google search can help you out

@@ColtonRichter what about the bottom of the rear shock, they are rounded off rather than protruding like the gen 1s

      Still the same mounting idea

Use to do this back in the day,
The rearview mirror was shaking at the red light

You should only be running poly or solid mounts on a manual transmission vehicle. this way anytime you're stopped you're always in neutral so vibrations are reduced. Poly/solid mounts on an automatic on "D" at a stop light would be a nightmare.

@@Key-z2xI did some solid mounts for my Taurus and dailied it and it felt great. Now any car I drive that has slop I hate 😂
