That was sweet of him. To say "want to see how i do it" instead of "this is how it's suppose to be". Small things lile that mean a lot he's a great teacher especially for a child! Good job Chad!!!
@@timn5008 by jokers, you're referring to Chad Smith - drummer for Red Hot Chili Peppers, arguably one of the most renowned bands in the world - and Gregg Bissonette - someone whose forty years of playing alongside some of the greatest musicians in rock history is enviable - right? Just checking. Nandi is an amazing musician, especially for her age, but your attempt to cut down the other two in the video just made you look stupid.
That look in her eyes when she’s following is a look I hope will never leave her. It’s a look of joy, sheer enjoyment and love. She’ll stick with it, dream about it and love it so she can share it with others and maybe even the world.
You can see the passion and love of the instrument in that little girl’s face the second she starts drumming. It’s a beautiful thing to see a child find such a positive passion at such a young age She is definitely going to go far, bless her
It's awesome that some professionals are so willing to give the next generation of players tips and tricks that they have learned. I think that Chad Smith and Dave Grohl really enjoy helping Nandi become a better player. She's like a sponge, soaking up the wealth of knowledge that they share with her. Top notch guys, top notch!!!🤘
For sure I’m seeing him more and more and yeah, I do respect him that he’s out there with youngsters teaching them. Oh my God, my heart my heart is like oh palpitating love it.
Sir, the way you approached her was impeccable. You gave respect to such a young musician, but also put the authoritative place in position. And did it so gracefully and with such amazing communication, that’s why you’re one of the best.
The fact that she's doing so well now keeping rate up. Makes you wonder just how good she's going to be down the road. Certainly hope she keeps working at it because she looks like a natural
@@peteroz7332yes, yes they are. Watch. She's Is being taught. She's just so good that she doesn't fumble around at the begining like most kids her age would. She's amazing. But that doesn't mean she knows more than the seasoned pros. I'm thrilled that she's still getting opportunities like this. Her star will go far.
@JhonnyCash-mo2wx look her up. Nandi Bushell. She's about 14 now I think? And been playing for years. Has a RUclips channel. She posted a challenge to David Grohl. And the other band members saw her play then told him about it. He was impressed and took the challenge. It went back and forth for a while. And now she has played with them a number of times. Including after the recent passing of Taylor Hawkins. She and Taylor's son both got to play at the tribute concert. She's an amazing drummer for such a young age. I think she was about (11?) When she got to play with them on stage the first time.
Its also why a lot of people don't rate him very highly. He plays a lot of very simple (on paper) stuff but like a lot of pop/rock drummers its the way he plays it that makes it great and thats something that a casual music fan isn't gonna pick up on
He's loose as goose. I've seen lots of drummers who can do crazy double bass, double speed and drum machine precise drum solos - but then seem incapable of expressing the soul and glue when playing a simple beat.
First time I've heard of Nandi. Wow. I wanted to comment on the shot over Chad's shoulder when they're both playing the main beat how perfectly synched Nandi is with Chad. High hat and snare, both sticks are at the same height and angle every frame of the shot. And she picked that up on the first time through.
What an amazing opportunity for both of them. She gets to learn from someone who's been doing it a long time and he gets to pass on his experience and knowledge for her to take it and make it her own to help grow as a musician not just a drummer
Nandi I'm soooooo pleased........Foo's concert was always an opening for you young lady. Live your best life, and enjoy every step with my Hero's 👏👏👏 👏
2 phenomenal legendary drummers and one coming into the present. Kid you can't go wrong with examples like them and so many others that are still playing and ones that have left us physically yet imparted us with their invention, knowledge and inspiration for generations to come. I was part of a drum clinic with Greg Bissonette teaching and the man is a master and a blast to watch, listen and learn from!
This little girl is so cool! She jammed with the foo fighters and played everlong on stage at a concert... Soooo good!! If she was my little girl, I'd be so proud!! She will be an amazing talent and already is now but in the future. Wow! Please protect this young lady from Hollywood vampires and folks messn with Kanye.
Honestly I could listen to 100 drummers play any generic groove and I'd still be able to pick out which one was Chad playing. He's got such a signature loose way of playing, love his use of grace notes on the snare.
Goddamn child prodigies... she wasn't even an idea in her mother's head when Can't Stop came out and I was here learning it shortly after it's release😭In all seriousness though she is so talented and charismatic she's gonna be a huge name in drumming in the decades to come
Chad has amazing feel. An insanely good drummer. The best drummers have that - Bonham, Grohl, Carey. They’re not only technically great the way they play has a feel to it. It’s that human element. They also create drum hooks, you know songs because of their drumming. Listen to the start of Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Simple pattern but the feel! Give it away, another example. Music is losing that human element
