This game brings back so many memories with me and my brother. We'd play this everyday together, he'd always pick Smasher and I'd always pick Hawk. He'd always be 1st player and I'd be 2nd. What I would give to be with my brother again. R.I.P T_T
I loved this game so much when I was a kid. I played it entirely through like 10 times at least. I remember I desperately wanted it for Christmas. And my parents packed in inside some cereal box to fool me that I didn't get it. When I found it inside, I was jumping up and down. Good memories.

Haha, well it's the best they could do "at the time", and remember the decade before was practically nothing bt arcade games lol, so movin into the 90's as a fresh start this was the best of graphics they could come up with after the Golden Decade!!! Have your parents or did you think your parents would disown you for playing this game?
The reason being is that if the Ps4 was launched back in the 90s, the Ps4 wouldn't have done too well. It would've been $1000 dollars at least.... and multi core programming was a deal breaker for the Sega Saturn.

But I hear ya.... Anyway, I remember renting this game all the time..wasn't the best graphics or gameplay... but was just flat out fun!
I remember my neighbourhood/school friend having this game, and we were about 7-8 years old playing it. We could never beat it haha. It also didn't help when there were special moves that depleted your own health bar, and the other player taking all the healing items. Alana was the character I liked, whilst my friend would choose Hawk.
I, with my cousins, wrapped up this game several times. I went to the end more than 15 times else myself. Smasher was my fav character since lifted up enemies with his hands and threw them away as well we're all taken with that coca-cola machine at the second stage as when we knock it down, we could scarf down its beverages by swigging sound.
There's only one word that fits to this game: CLASSIC. I spendet many enjoyable hours with this game in my childhood & I still have this game on my collection. It's truly one of the best games on the PS1 in my opinion & I think many would agreed with me in this. Also this game get's what games should be: Light on story, more action. I don't mind about cutscenes between levels, but I'm here to play the game, not to watch movies.

Not really outstanding by 3D beat em up standards today, but it was one of the first. Having 2 players is pretty much mandatory though.

I remember playing this ion a weird arcade in Mexico that was actually a Play Station. Instead of credits you'd buy time but you'd still have to sit through the loading screens.
Man i'm pretty sure Fighting Force was the first ever time i had a 2 player game experience, i recall loving how many weapons there were lying around and that you could pretty much use almost anything to hit people with and throw at. Also i don't really recall anything after that elevator fight part.
+Eric Chapman Edios was ORIGINALLY going to release this on the Saturn...but since the Playstation was just a hair or 2 stronger, they released it on PSX..then the graphically superior N64 version. But it still was a DIRECT PORT to the 64.
I remember playing this as a demo (I can't remember if it was with Tomb Raider or Tomb Raider 2 but .. something of that nature with demos on the disc) and it made me buy the actual game lol. I still have this, still love it!

I remember me and my best buddy disagreeing over something and we ended up fighting against each other instead of fighting the enemies :D This game STILL is so much fun !

The best feature of this game was the co-op availability, I couldn't believe that Fighting Force 2 was a single player game!
