I love this episode just because it gives us the first set of answers we get for the show, I remember seeing this episode and being mind-blown by how much everything just connects!
It's nice to know that Historia had someone who cared about her. Frieda was really kind, and oddly enough, despite Histora not remembering her directly, she still carried on her will of being kind to others unconditionally. Also, poor Eren. In the span of five minutes, his entire world has basically been shattered. He doesn't speak after learning the truth, but his expressions speak volumes. He's definitely thinking a lot about what he just learned. On a side note though, Zachary is very concerning. Also, fun fact, considering Grisha's comment about Eren learning how to use his Titan through "their memories", he likely learned how to transform subconsciously through Frieda. Since she's the only other one to bite her hand to transform so far. Also, welcome to the famous chair scene

if u guys notice in eren's flashback by looking closely, rod reiss was the first to flee, he was so quick to runaway and just go, lowkey leaving his family behind. that says a lot about his character. also, i never get tired of james's very very very subtle look in the eye and the slight upward turning of the corner of his lips around 19:42 HAHAHA and then him looking down,,, i really cant HAHHAHA
Didn't know I need this in my life, but I'm really enjoying you guys navigate the absolute joy and INSANITY that is AoT. I would love to see you guys watch and react to "Slap on Titan" next lol
James, why not clear up some things that have ALREADY been shown in the episodes rather than leaving the guys confused. If they're not 100 on something and it was said before clearing up things won't give away spoilers or ruin anything. For eg. How people get titan powers, Eren eating his dad etc.
But who said that Grisha stole the titan from frieda and then immadiately went to give it to eren? Maybe there has some time passed idk. Wasnt very clear from that scene imo
Well maybe not from that scene but it's easy to put together with the info we get in previous episodes. In 3x5 Hange said that the "bandits incident" aka Grisha stealing Frieda's titan happened the same day that Wall Maria fell, and 1x2 showed what happened to Eren that day: he fled Shiganshina on the boat, then at night the "dream sequence" aka Grisha giving him the titan, then he woke up in Trost with no memory of how he got there.
