Thank you so much for this video! Far and away the most helpful video for the Atezr L2 that I've watched yet!

Clear instructions as always! I'm ooking at the ATEZR L2 36W LASER & iKier K1 Pro Max: 48W/24W Laser Power Switching for my first laser they almost look identical, having the ability to switch between 24w & 48w could be the deal breaker. Loving the channel 🙂

Nice, I would have liked the 36W Atezr but considering it was gifted to us, I can't really complain. Just went to take a look at the iKier and you're right - it does look like the Atezr. I wonder whether they are affiliated in some way.

@golasergo Yes, I've since read that both companies have been working together. Ikier are now advertising on their website a 20w fiber laser used to engrave metals. Could be interesting

I'm having trouble with the z axis raising on its own when a job is initiated.
I have tried disabling the z axis and any z axis offset in lightburn but it still raises even when creating a test grid or framing.
It doesn't do it when just moving the positions manually.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

My crosshairs are not visible when I turn on my Atzer L2. Is there a trick to turning them on? Did you autofocus in some way before burning the positioning cross?

Are you using Lightburn? If so, there is an option in Device Settings to 'Enable Laser Fire Button'.

I have the same problem with mine and I can't find a button or setting to turn it on or off. Have you ever figured out how to turn yours on?

@@golasergo Is that only in older versions of LightBurn? I have looked for that in my Device Settings and there is no such setting for the cross hairs for on and off. Cross hair does not seem to be affected by the laser fire in anyway. If I am missing something please inform me.

@@donalddunn2983 I never found a solution. I finally returned the machine at the cost of $100 out of my pocket so I could get what was left as a refund. Customer support kept telling me to send them a video of it not doing anything. I never got far enough to try LightBurn.

it's insanely long, it's more laughable than useful...

Most of the steps for this process are only done once. You don't have to do this every time you want to engrave - that would be ridiculous. So in this video, it is only the steps after 2:17 that you need to do once the initial setup is done.
