Another dope video! Being a graff artist of 25+ years, I find it quite different to using cans. I love watching you work. It helps me work out how I can convert my style from can to airbrush. Keep it up mate 👍
Thanks! Yeah, cans are very different in a few ways, but certainly have their similarities. They translate well from one to another, but some muscle memory and change in techniques is definitely required. Biggest difference is the layering of colors I think. Spray cans always cover up what's below, while airbrush is often transparent. Watching me do the black outlines first must seem counterintuitive to a long time spray can artist, but it's easy to see why it makes more sense with Airbrush. I know there are some great Graffiti artists out there that haven't had the opportunity or open mind to try airbrushing. My main goal here is to teach Airbrushing - especially to graffiti artists that have some experience 😉
looks amazing, you for sure make it look easy lol. when i first was interested in graffiti there was barely any resources. thanks for sharing all the content you do.
Nice one, I did a bad move 10yr ago. Sold my 2 Evolution and 1 Iwata and compressor :/. And around 25 bottles 0.5Liter with fabric paint. Both opaque and colors for light fabrics, sold with it. Did graffiti on shirts and hoodies.
God bless your work dude, nice lettering..Do you make landscape too?..keep going!!;). My problem is the noise that makes it. Have you heard of a compressor made of freezer engine? It's pretty soundless.....I am trying to build one so my wife doesn't kick me out of the room 😂
Thank you!! He has certainly blessed me. I prefer to paint graffiti lettering, not landscapes much.. and Yes, I'm going to make the compressor much much quieter very soon. Sorry!
I just started to airbrush shirts with my son we are having a blast I’m old school graffiti mostly markers and pen you make it look easy for sure your extremely talented. Great video just one question how do you get the lines so thin then thick for the fill?
It's an awesome skill to learn! It takes practice, but we'll worth it, especially for a young artist! I can vary the line weight by pulling back more or less on the trigger, while also getting closer or farther away from the shirt, and moving faster or slower with the airbrush.
That’s awesome bro . Do you Air brush for profit ? I mean if I wanted to have something made by you do you offer that ? Or do you just do this for educational purposes ?
Thank you Sophia! I use opaque black and white, but the rest of my colors are transparent. Sometimes I'll pick up an opaque color for a special order, or mix a color with white to make it opaque, but typically everything is transparent except black and white.
Cool Hat! Your graffiti letters are well done nice design ....Can you do a video on heat pressing the shirts like the temp you use and how long you heat press and do you use a teflon sheet when you heat press?
As long as you're not burning the shirt, you should be good to go! Yeah, each paint is a bit different. If they have instructions, definitely go with those

Dale well done , ? Stenciles do you make your own, do you make your own reducer great explanation on borers pray
It looks like the spray has a similar control as graphite or charcoal as in there's a small amount of forgiveness with LIGHTER WEIGHT strokes

Hey I love your videos and I just got an airbrush! Do you use transparent or opaque for fill in colors?
Thank you Sophia!
I use opaque black and white, but the rest of my colors are transparent. Sometimes I'll pick up an opaque color for a special order, or mix a color with white to make it opaque, but typically everything is transparent except black and white.
How and what do you use to dry the airbrushing on the shirt to set it in

Cool Hat! Your graffiti letters are well done nice design ....Can you do a video on heat pressing the shirts like the temp you use and how long you heat press and do you use a teflon sheet when you heat press?
Thanks! Haha
I will at some point!
I press my shirts at 350f for 20seconds. I only need teflon if there's a photo transfer
AirbrushCustoms thanks and wow I been heat pressing for 375 for 30 seconds but I use aqua flow not sure if that matters
As long as you're not burning the shirt, you should be good to go!
Yeah, each paint is a bit different. If they have instructions, definitely go with those
Hi, how you fix the color on the tshirt?
What type of brush do you use
I just got my first airbrush... watched this video... now I am scared, going to bed again.
just starting my airbrush journey. what kind of compressor are you using? I can't even hear it.
That's cause it's outside! Haha. I just use a cheap construction compressor. Nothing special
Do you add any sealers before or after airbrushing , so the paint won't wash out when you put it in the washer..?
I seal the paint with heat. 350 degrees for 20 seconds.
What size needle are u using Un ur airbrushs
You haven't never seen blue brick with white grout. You should have painted the GROUT
Struggled a bit with the new camera position made me feel a bit dizzy.
Great vid tho.
The helmet is pricless
Hi, can you please help me. what kind of paint do you use?
I use water based acrylic airbrush paints. Createx, Spectratex, Aquaflow, and Etac are some good brands
@@DaleTheAirbrushGuy thanks man!

Thank you!!
