No one can ever really cover this song and do it total justice. This version does sound creepier, but I'll always prefer the original. IMHO, it's the absolute sex. This is a rock interpretation of a trip-hop song, and I can see rock songs being translated into trip-hop more successfully than vice versa.
The opening sounds good, and is pretty faithful to the original version. But when the drums kick in, the mood is ruined. The drums are drowned in way too much reverb, sounds less like someone is playing a drum kit, and more like someone is kicking a drum kit down a flight of stairs.

I love both bands. Cool cover, but massive attack is the god of ambiance and trippy sound escapes, and this is what this song is about.

not the worst cover in the world....but the drums are quite lame and obvious...vocally nowhere near horace andy's range...5/10....
