Just a ridiculously addictive song, by a master artist... Not a "Rock Star!" not a "Celebrity" A man entirely devoted to his craft!!! And I've ALWAYS preferred it much better with the keys, LOVE this version!
Jeez, I am not exaggerating when i say that i must have played this track 300/400 times, NOT the album that its from, but THIS track, its "OFF THE SCALE" Brilliant, the way he takes it away from where it started, & then brings it back, pure genius.
Jeff Campitelli what an amazing drummer,the man is a human metronome.
I would put this song on when my son was about 6 months old and wouldn’t sleep. He’s now 36 and hearing this song takes me back to those days every time. I really miss that time I able to spend with him.😊

I first heard this song about 25 years ago and I will never tire of listening to it. Lots of guitarist have licks but Satch has something that no one else has. He really does feel the music.

With the drummers he's had in the past this guy just barely holds the spot,I could do this stuff… I'm surprised at this from Joe.. then again not, he's used or can get away with drum machines on most of it & vanilla accompaniment on stage & studio is more eyes on him.Oh wait.. it's about the guitar work
in this song there is no room for improvisation.. the drums and bass are very particular and simple because of the style of song.. but i get what you mean.. jeff campitelli is a straight-ahead classic rock drummer .. marco minemann is on a whole different level
