Is it a thing to take out a personal loan (You Don't need the money at all) an pay 99% of it back right away just to raise ur score? And the last 1% lil by lil?

I have not experienced this with Amex they don’t seem to mind large credit portfolios. I’d recommend a few months in between applications though to be safe.

In terms of limit on 1 card, I have seen up to $100k limits on single card, max exposure for total cards is 14 across personal/biz

I think I mention in both 12 and 24 month periods, 5-7 in 12 months is worse then 5-7 in 24 months
