Love this lick - Can you please elaborate a bit on the left hand that you are adding to it? In other words: how and where would we use this one in an actual song? Thanks a lot!
Thanks Nik. I'm watching your left hand and seeing some very interesting constructions over what is basically a I chord or sus2 in the right I suppose. Do you have any tips for how to do that? How to choose chords that work and give a jazz voicing?
Thank you for the nice comment. Glad you are enjoying the lessons. If you pay attention to everything I post, you will make some good progress! Happy to have you
Very good tutorial on licks, which is not a surprise since I saw other videos of you. One question: do you use a controller keyboard because that piano sounds great? is that I am checking to see if I buy one for the counterbalanced keys and 88 keys or a korg pda700.
I'm ready for quarantine to be over. Be safe everyone. Hope you enjoyed this NASTY lick
So it's really the pentatonic scale with the 6th at the bottom! Pretty cool!
Yep wife and I are self quarantined in the US this is great distraction and something I WILL used upon getting this under my fingers.
Thanks
Thanks for this - I've never imagined playing the black-to-white slide before, and I've been playing piano for many years!
You're welcome!!!! Glad it was helpful :)
