I'm a Trucker, I don't think a week goes by I don't listen to the entire album This Time, just a great Album. Obviously this song really hits home for many reasons, especially across, New Mexico, Arizona, the Dakotas.

This Time is one of my all time favorite albums , bunch of my buddies who didn't listen to much country went to the Merritt country music festival many years ago and asked me who they should watch live , told them Dwight is a must see and most of them came back a fan for life.

That jump to C in the “Oh I” part they throw in really hits!gives this haunting song a jarring kick in the ass ! But that’s what we love about all Dwights music , always pushing the limit
Love this guitar player, man. Saw them at the Georgia Theater, Athens, 2018 and I think they still had this lineup. Guitar was definitely there. Love the way he plays the leads as written. He's clearly a monster and could tear it up, but appreciate his adherence to Pete Andersons licks, and nails them every time. They were killer that night! I hope to see them again.
I remember this session from when it first aired. Dwight Yoakam doesn’t get the credit he deserves for keeping old time real Country Music alive. My mom would have approved 100%! Me too!

years ago Dwight Yoakam was a star but he was a pretty boy and all the girls loved him so i never really listen to his music but we are both older now and i listen to all his music and the newer stuff i love second hand heart and liar are my fav's keep making music you get better with age
the bass player he's not in but a few of Dwight's video's is he not a band member. i see the drummer the lead guitar and the little guy that plays all kind of stuff and sings
