- Amazon Prime's new drama action series "The Terminal List" is facing backlash. The show stars Chris Pratt as a Navy SEAL who returns home after his platoon is ambushed to face even more danger. Some critics have slammed the series, saying it "panders to male red-state viewers with routine references to beer, guns, country music, and hunting." Former Navy SEAL and author of the book series, Jack Carr, says it is not true.
I never ever ever ever ever pay attention to the “critic score” I always look at the audience score.

I’m a conservative but with todays Hollywood and media. Anything that is labeled “far right” by critics and the media typically means it’s good and it’s really just centrist. It just doesn’t push far left agenda.
What movie DOESN’T have routine references to beer, guns, country music and hunting?
Jack Reacher, Django Unchained, Magnificent Seven, Buster Riggs, The Kingsman: The Golden Circle…

Less articulated and complicated shows do poorly with critics.

As if critics know how to criticize a movie anymore they're all about politics and it gets tiring to hear about them. You go by the audience score not the critics score because at least the audience score is more reliable then a bias critics score. Anyway the terminal list is the best I highly recommend this series to anybody who has Amazon Prime.

The author of the series said it best. He didn't make the story for the Left or the Right, that's on you if you as a viewer interpret it that way. What he did do was make the series without the typical current Hollywood agenda of featuring propaganda and woke programming.
I watched the whole thing as fast as I could. It's a great series. Don't start watching it. You will not want to stop.

Nah this series was great. If my family was killed and I had his skills, I would've been on that exact rampage.
It's a fantastic show. Hollywood is in tears because their social engineering and forcing "the message" down everyone's throat campaign is not working out for them.

The man tells it how it is, and you don't see enough of that these days where everyone is too scared to say what they actually think for fear that the woke left will attack them. I gave up on shows and films and I wouldn't have watched this if I hadn't seen his review. And he was right! Spent the last two days binge watching all eight episodes. I was impressed to say the least.

I watched it and loved it. Chris Pratt would make an excellent Jack Reacher... if that spot wasn't already filled by another excellent actor.
I read all the negative reviews on RT after watching this. A whole 2 of like 30 negative reviews mention “too much darkness for these times” and “self righteousness”. Not at all what I was expecting based on this video and these comments. Most of the negative reviews give the reasoning as “done before/predictable”, “could’ve been a lot shorter” and “not great acting”. These criticisms have NOTHING to do with politics.
I mean, I’m still gonna watch it because I already have Prime, but It’s obvious that the media like this is trying harder and harder each day to divide Americans instead of bring us together.

I think they forget not all Americans live in California and New York LoL. Most of us love our shows & movies with guns, beer, and music (maybe not new country music).
Show was good. Book was better. I read the book after watching the show. But there's a lot that got left out of the book. Audio books have became my new favorite thing.
