    Good to hear a positive review on a well used Dmax. Mine has a Norweld tray and canopy with a Pedders GVM upgrade to 3.45t. Set up for touring, but not with a van. Tents or motels is my accommodation.

      That’s the go get into the more tight spots with only the car! How do you like the pedders kit ? Thanks for watching👍

    • @Wilbargosh
      @Wilbargosh Год назад

      @@elnick.adventures Pedders kit seems ok. I got it prerego for federal compliance. Its firm but suited to the weight. I’ll take it in for a service check shortly to make sure all the bolts are torqued correctly and its optimal for the canopy on the back and a bullbar on the front. With at GVM upgrade also required higher load rated tyres. I’ve got Falken Wildpeak AT3w 165/70r17

Over all the D-Max are pretty reliable rig, you GCM upgrade is quiet big but she still handled it Van and all and you guys every where and I mean Everywhere so it has served you all well.

    OMG, I know they are reliable, but you could put 1.3 ton in the car and tow 3.5T with that little standard motor, not in a snowman's chance in hell that could do that safely and reliably.
    My brother-inlaw just purchased a Mux and it's a great little car, towing his 19' caravan, but 70kph max on medium to big hills, just far too gutless.
    Wait a minute, you said it was totally reliable but pop out 2 near the end. But in the end, it has done everything you want and you both love it, and that's all that matters.

    Hi Guys I have been following you for a while now, but never left a comment. When you mentioned you did a Lovells GVM Upgrade, I thought I would ask now that you have travelling with it for a while, if you are happy with there system, as I am thinking of using them when I purchase my new Ford Ranger early next year. I was also wondering what brand canopy you have and are you happy with. I have been very much enjoying your episodes, they are very down to earth, keep them coming and stay safe on your travels. Cheers Peter

      Hey Peter thanks for commenting and following our travels! We are very happy with the lovells kit we had a ARB kit in before and think lovells is better. They aren’t to bad of a ride when vehicle is unladen and a nice ride when the weight is packed on! We went with lovells as at the time they were nearly the only ones offering a gcm upgrade aswell. But very happy with the suspension. The canopy was from a local sheet metal manufacture called Hastings sheet metal. Very happy with the canopy and surprised it hasn’t cracked earlier to be honest! Thanks for watching Peter
