I am 38 years old. Switching careers after 18 years in the cell phone industry. Finished my P&C pre licensing course via Kaplan. I am excited and can’t wait to pass my exam next week. I will definitely get my life and health at some point. I hope to see more P&C content from your channel. Thanks for your videos
I started out with my life and heath license and didn’t care for it, so I obtained my p&c license and only do commercial and I love it.

It's too complicated selling life. I regret not getting p and c license first

How for have you come if you got into this?
I recently was laid off from a collection/customer service job of 11 years. I’m finding that most jobs now are in the insurance industry. I possess people and business skills. I’m accustomed to a call center role, which area of insurance do you see a better fit?
TIA
What’s better being a broker or being a producer ?
This was soooooo good.
Well said sir.. Starting to get it asap
So if I want to sell final expense only, do I only need a life insurance license or get both as you mentioned?
Just life
We need a update video for over coming objectives on selling Final expense over the phone.
Hey buddy, I actually just recently did an hour webinar specifically about that subject, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/2HmR3VBALWg/видео.html
Sorry new to the channel
@@stocktrader7557 It's all good! If you're new to my channel, I would love if you could attend the 8% Virtual Insurance Conference I am hosting tomorrow, it's going to be great for new agents and agents transitioning into telesales. Here's a link to register: bit.ly/34qgok1
I got 2-15 and for months I am looking for job
Just can’t find the right job for me
I wanna get my life insurance license. And health to. What's the best companies to get it with?
I need a no bs answer and explanation would be sweet. I am thinking about being and insurance “producer” is what the position was called. I was offered straight commission, 50% of the commission received, and no renewals. I haven’t got my license yet. Is it worth.
Is right now a good time to get into the industry?
Ya boi reminds me of Derek from step brothers real shit
What do you think about cyber insurance?
Hey man I’m just curious do you still accept emails for help?
I’m in California, do you need a life only license or life & health??
Awesome 👏
Which life and health insurance license should you get? Which one is best?
He explains them both in the entire video.
If someone is familiar with P&C from working in auto claims, would going with a P&C license be the route to go? I worked 6 years in standard auto claims and I'm 3 months into non standard insurance claims. I've noticed that most people have no idea how their policy works and the coverages that they have purchased.
I'm wanting to get into the P&C side because I see so many people that are underinsured or they don't understand their policy to the point where I'm jumping ship from claims to producing.
Should I be concerned about the earning potential in P&C?
Thats a great question. I hope he replies!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
2 minutes in and the question is not answered yet it's a recruiting video all of a sudden.
What do you think about WFG agency?
Hahaha it’s selling. Most people are looking for cat.
Your funny!🤑
Hello, what is your email? I want to ask some questions.
cody@codyaskins.com
What do you think is the reason such a high percentage of people fail is?
Misleading recruiters
Exaggeration and flat out lie about how much money they can make. Also not being truthful about how the lead base is setup.
Not being consistent
Thinking it will be easy. Some people are naturally good at sales. If you don't have the natural sales talent, be prepared to bust your ass trying to learn the skill. Don't even start if you feel you may quit down the line - you'll be waisting your time
the average life agent will not make 100k
You will spend 30k in leads lmao. That aren’t guaranteed
I’m willing to give P+C a shot. Selling Medicare is way too stressful for me.
Everyone has their own path in this business, that's the beauty of it! Let me know if I can help Ebony... we have some KILLERS in the P&C space that will be speaking at our 8% Virtual Conference this Friday if you're interested in attending (use code "Cody" for $50 off): 8percentvirtual.com
@Cody I am interested in getting into the insurance field and I have no experience. How do I start?
Hey Cody. I'm 66 years old, working in a medicai call center for two years. Do you think I can get into the field? Thank you.. Happy Holidays
Yeah, definitely!

You are so welcome! Thanks for watching
Sorry, I dislike people who.ask.a.an admin then answer it. Just speak. We aren't stupid.
I am motivated to get my life and health insurance license here in NC.
When I first thought of becoming a life insurance agent, I basically had no idea where and how to start until I cam in contact with this company on Facebook. They helped me through the process of pre licensing and scheduling for my exam. I postponed and rescheduled my exam several times because I was skeptical but when I finally did, I passed first try scoring 90. I currently work with them making 45% . I started with 30% and now 45%. They also got an interesting career growth path which can help you become your own CEO. Supper excited I found them. Please do your research and get involved with the right company
so what are the negative/cons of the this career?
Hi Cody. Thanks for providing so much information.
I'd got my life and health insurance license last year. How do I become a broker ? Is there any other license that I need to get?
How do I get appointed to the company as a broker and not as a producer?
I would really appreciate some guidance on this topic.
I just ❤️life!😇🤑
Agree. Gracias for your time!
Hay quá

Thank you so much for the video. I have my life & health but have been considering the P&C lately - just to keep my options open. Would you be willing to share what company you joined when you first started? And if you can't/won't share can you at least share if you were captive or not? Thanks again - I enjoy your videos.
I started with Mutual of Omaha.. thanks for watching!
I am on the fence on getting my license. I keep hearing things about insurance. What would you say? Is this time a good time to invest in Insurance License?
Do it! It's the best industry to be a part of.
@@CodyAskins between P&C & L&H, which would be better for a beginner? Which is more profitable and sustainable?
