This song is really personal to me. I felt this way growing up. I didn't fit in. I felt alone. When I first heard this song I felt like they were taking about me. We are all creeps in some way.
When Thom turns it up one octave heading into the final chorus push it's epic. Thom wasn't very happy with the song. He hated the lyrics he wrote. The guitar player added those hard banging sounds at first as a joke because he didn't like it either. The public loved it. They loved it so much that it's all anyone ever wanted to hear. Radiohead actually dropped it from their set to try & make way for new music. "Creep" will always be relatable to so many. Liking that seemingly unattainable person & wishing you were more. MANY have covered this song & argue that this person or that person does a great cover. In my opinion Thom Yorke's voice on this track IS "Creep".
I just noticed this was your comment Jennifer and I SWEAR.... I'm NOT creeping around! lol! Seems we have the same taste in music and reactors! Seriously.... Peace :)
This song brings tears to my eyes, loving someone from afar but feeling personally different with life itself in general, not fitting in anywhere, not belonging and fighting sadness and depression
Biz, my first husband related to the "I don't belong here" line. He committed suicide in 1994, 2 weeks after Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. It really stabs me in the heart everytime I hear it 😢
I also relate to the thought that “I don’t belong here” and I say it often and out loud. I’ve lived with depression for my entire life, and I often feel out of place, a square peg forcibly stuffed into a round hole. I am so terribly sorry for your loss, but I’m more sorry for his loss. I still haven’t found my “happy place”, but I have found a place where I can be happy, if that makes any sense. I’m sorry that your husband never found that place.
Of course I'm riding with you Biz! I gave you a shout out last night. Rome Life Reactions (James) did a video shouting out props & positive vibes to lots of reactors. In my comment I included you along with my other channels. I got u, man. Keep grinding. You've got great content. 👍🏾
I've been a Radiohead superfan for over 20 years now and tbh "emo on acid" is one of the best short descriptions of them I've ever heard 😂 Subscribed, sir!
1st part of song. -Start of depression episode . Insecurities , rejection , self-loathing / hate e.t.c 2nd part of song. -Mental / pyscotic breakdown / episode , self harm e.t.c 3rd part of song. -broken / defeated , hopelessness , in hosipital , jail or worse death ( suicide ). That's my quick brief interpretation of this classic anyway.
Yep... I'm with Jennifer... She gave a HELL of a shout out to a lot of you guys! Do your thing Biz, we're all just enjoying the ride!!! "Creep" was a great choice. Peace....
It's a well-rehearsed cover by pro-musicians. Haley sings the hell out of it, but she doesn't feel it and then transfer that feeling to the listener. Not surprising since she didn't live it. Thom Yorke did.
Please check out Postmodern Jukebox Featuring Haley Reinhart covering Radiohead's Creep- I think over 91 Million views. it would be a great follow up to this reaction AND it will blow your mind!
I'll be honest. I have listened to other reactors and I know the song but a lot has to do with your presentation! Beautiful, honest, loving. You're a great reactor that's why we keep coming back!
Good for you BizMan do something for yourself for a change and you couldn’t have started with a better tune for Radio Head to go down the rabbit hole 🕳 than this one!!!! One of my all time favorites and one of the greatest songs ever hombre in my humble opinion!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!😎🍸
Glad to hear you're getting into Radiohead for yourself, that's a great reason. You might like Paranoid Android, High And Dry, and Karma Police for a few starters.
There are a lot of Radiohead "snobs" who say "if you don't like them you know nothing about music." I do love ALOT of their music, but I'm not one of those. This song is quite poignant and speaks to the insecurities that most of us have at some point in our lives.
The early Aerosmith is off the hook. Lord of the Thighs, Pandora's BOX, Spaced, Seasons of Wither, Women of the World. Every song on "Get Your Wings" is a smash hit from the Bad Boys of Boston. Also Aeorsmith "Rocks" and "Dream On" are just as good.
I went to see them at the nec in Brum (Birmingham UK) and they are as just as good live as they are on vinyl (showing my age and preference) which is some going in what is basically a warehouse
I've read somewhere recently that the group got inspiration from Miles Davis! I forget if it was this album or one of their other albums but that was a revelation to me👍🏻👍🏻
You got it, it was 'borrowed'. I love this song and I like Radiohead, but it bothers me that the Hollies had to sue to get credit for their work. Then again, certainly not the first band to be a bit loose about giving credit.
so in an interview the bass player wrote this song because of a groupie he met back stage on tour but he was so taken with her he was speechless and just sort of slunk into the background and worshipped her from afar .. and after ruminating on their meeting for a few days he wrote the song, mostly so he could get a good night sleep .. it became one of their greatest hits .. just F.Y.I there is a live version of this song that in my opinion is even better than this version way more emotional and raw its when they were on your... good reaction BTW
Hey David! I am pretty sure Thom Yorke wrote this song & is guitar/lead singer. He was into this girl at his college & would follow her around. (Kinda creepy - no pun intended 🤣) She ended up at a Radiohead concert. Thom wrote it after. If she only knew the song she inspired...
Yeah, Thom wrote the song and did actually see her in the crowd at one of his concerts. I've always wondered if she ever found out this song is about her though.... Bet that'd be weird! LOL!!!
Hope you are going to like the journey. A couple of good songs from their earlyer albums are: Street Spirit, Fake plastic Trees and Paranoid Android. And once you get to their more recent songs if there is a 'from the basement' version i highly recommend those over the original album versions. Good luck and enjoy. I'll be keeping an eye out for your reactions.
KID A album was life changing for me. Check out their best song How to Disappear Completely. It's actually the song Thom York said he wanted the band to be remembered by. Enjoy the journey!!
I wanted to catch you fresh off a video. You need to react to an accapello group called "Home Free". Start with the song "Man of Constant Sorrow", then "Ring of Fire", then "Go Rest High on that Mountain". Brother, your mind will be blown to pieces. You will be binge watching these guys for two or three days. But promise me, you will do the three songs I listed above, in the order I listed them. It's important to build that momentum in that order. Trust me. After that, free style all you want.
Not sure if you'll see this, but Radiohead's performance of Weird Fishes live in the basement is a musical feat. The whole set is excellent, but this song in particular is a good introduction to the band and their sound.
I think the lyrics of this song pretty much describes the nature of the band based on their remaining songs. The only other song of theirs I like is *Pyramid Song*
Bizmatik Listen to led zeppelins Bring it on home live and Deep purples Highway star & perfect strangers. Bob Segers Back in 72 & Elvis's Life part2 & CCRs greatest hits album lol
👏 Great reaction to an iconic song!👏 This song is on my list of all time top ten songs & has never left it for over 20 years. Not only is the music beautiful, but those lyrics, combined with Thom Yorke's voice - MASTERIECE! Hence the reason it gets covered so much, but no-one can achieve the perfection of Radiohead's original - Thom wrote it & your can FEEL his raw emotion! PLEASE PLEASE react to Street Spirit (fade away): ruclips.net/video/LCJblaUkkfc/видео.html - it is so memorising, a haunting song 💗 Also Paranoid Android: ruclips.net/video/fHiGbolFFGw/видео.html And 'Karma Police' (live): ruclips.net/video/tIOBLlehkpA/видео.html - beautiful audience participation! They're still going strong - I've tried many times over the years to get tickets to see them & failed - they are the only band I haven't seen on my bucket-list - and I've seen EVERY artist/band live - from Adele to Eminem (x3) to U2 (x2) to Muse (x5) to Lana Del Rey to Jay-Z to The Prodigy (x3) to Morrissey (x22....! - legend!) & dozens more - BUT I still haven't seen Radiohead in concert! I just gotta keep tryin......
Okay, I need you to take a change of pace and listen to Who wants to Live Forever (Queen cover) by the Tenors (not the 3 tenors). Amazing song and video.
This is NOT a song you want to start with Radiohead. They only sounded like this for one album, which was kind of a cross between U2 and Nirvana. The band hates this song and doesn't play anything from that album. They started finally figuring out who they were 2 years later with their album "The Bends". They released two masterpieces shortly afterwards: "Ok Computer" in 1997, and "Kid A" in 2000.
This song is really personal to me. I felt this way growing up. I didn't fit in. I felt alone. When I first heard this song I felt like they were taking about me. We are all creeps in some way.

AGREE 100%!!!!! No one could ever match Thom/Radiohead.
I just noticed this was your comment Jennifer and I SWEAR.... I'm NOT creeping around! lol! Seems we have the same taste in music and reactors! Seriously.... Peace :)
thanks for the insight i heard about the band not liking the song.. thats crazy
@@watchbizmatik quite a few bands hate their breakthrough song, Simple Minds, for one...
Jen do you work for Rolling Stone Magazine? Maybe you should start a channel seriously !

Sorry for your loss, please keep your Head up and carry on. xxxx
That breaks my heart 💔
Sending you love today. ❤️❤️❤️

The "She's running out the door" into the speeding guitars getting louder and louder is so fucking amazing.
Every song of theirs is different. Thom Yorke is an evil genius. Do "Fake Plastic Trees" next!
Lol he said "it's about to get fkn crazy" yes sir!
Radiohead one of the all time greats. They are their own genera.
Hello to all my fellow CREEPS out there, we make the world a more interesting place to live! 😎Great reaction BizMatik😎
I'm 73 and part of me dwells in the creep world. It's like part of me is still an adolescent and misunderstood. It never ends.
“I’m gonna start listening to Radiohead”
Boy are u in for something bro!!!!
Don't know alot of their music...but I do know this one...& I love this song! Great great song!!
It's rare that a song plays all the way through without you taking a break. That says everything about this song. Great reaction.
Of course I'm riding with you Biz! I gave you a shout out last night. Rome Life Reactions (James) did a video shouting out props & positive vibes to lots of reactors. In my comment I included you along with my other channels. I got u, man. Keep grinding. You've got great content. 👍🏾

"Emo on acid!" BRILLIANT.

"I want you to notice when I'm not around" is one of the best lyrics, in context, that I've ever heard.
This song is perfect. My favourite Radiohead rock song is Just.

❤ Thanks Mike! It was classy of James to give us all an opportunity to express ourselves regarding reactors publicly!
Thanks fam
As intense a song as ever there was. High and Dry is another classic song.
This song is the beginning. Street Spirit would be a great next song on your journey.
Haley Reinhardt is the only person to approach this level of perfection of this truly incredible song.
Christ I love Thom Yorke.
Only cover ive seen of this song that was like truly on the level the og is
It's a well-rehearsed cover by pro-musicians. Haley sings the hell out of it, but she doesn't feel it and then transfer that feeling to the listener. Not surprising since she didn't live it. Thom Yorke did.
What a legendary band. Fake plastic trees and paranoid android are must listens!
I've been binge watching you all. Day. I enjoy your reactions
Wow thank you so much 🙏🏿🙏🏿
What up Biz?! Love this song.
Love this song! Thanks Biz❤️ Cool to know Lupe loves them:) He has good taste!
The song is crazy good. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
That whole album is dope bro🔥🔥
OH yes!! LOVE Radiohead! Paranoid Android live on Jools Holland is amazing!
Radiohead is the greatest band ever bro. You have a long and incredible journey ahead of you. Enjoy!
I love Radio Head.
Love, love love Radiohead. I recommend High & Dry, The Bends, and Street Spirit (Fade out).
I relate to not belonging. I used to karaoke this and change the words to I don't wanna be here. It was a reminder of my failures.
I’m a little late. Lol. Haven’t heard much raidiohead in my life. Looking forward to taking this journey with you!!
Please check out Postmodern Jukebox Featuring Haley Reinhart covering Radiohead's Creep- I think over 91 Million views. it would be a great follow up to this reaction AND it will blow your mind!

Love this. ❤️
yes more radiohead bizmatik ..
I'm a 74 born oldtimer and this song was - as soon as it was released- the hymn of my generations' outcasts.
It has a lot of meaning to my lot .....
Incredible song !

Actually sad we have to go back decades to find the greatest songs. Nice video !
Just and Burn the Witch are great songs too, and they're my favourite music videos by Radiohead.
And then go watch Post Modern Jukebox’s cover of this. SO good!
This!
hope you get a good guide on what radiohead songs to do next. they vary a lot :)
Glad to hear you're getting into Radiohead for yourself, that's a great reason. You might like Paranoid Android, High And Dry, and Karma Police for a few starters.
This is a video you should watch about 50 times in a row to start to get a grip on its excellence.

Great tune!!! We played this song in my last band. I have a clip of us playing live on my channel.
The falsetto part..."Sleep..." sounds like a line from The Hollies. Anyone else get that?
