Ah, the age old story. The person of your dreams walks in the room, and then you realise they are way out of your league! Great reaction Cliff. Thank you. Shame I spoiled it by singing my lungs out! 😁
Allegedly written about a girl that Thom Yorke liked at university but didn't have the courage to approach. Apparently he doesn't like the song anymore.
The back story to this song is deep. And one day at a concert he saw the girl he speaks of in the audience. Now he's the star. But we've all been there before; a girl out of our league. He was in love with a girl that blew him off. This was a real, transparent song about his experience.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 has Radioheads Creep Song at the beginning of the movie !!! Roquet Rackoon character plays the song at the beguiling of the movie !!
Wow takes me back! This is one of my all time favourite songs that I haven’t heard in years! Takes me back to my days when I had depression really bad, but it’s a beautiful song 🖤
Didn't really see this coming but - ... damn I suddenly feel old. For me, Radiohead is the newer oldish music. My teenage influence. I must've forgot I'm middle aged now.
Blast from my college past! Love love love this song. One of my all time favorites.... Radio head is a deep rabbit hole, but they don't sound like this...
Love Radiohead music! Seen them live 👌 next band I see is Muse, can't wait! This song is also in a movie 🤔 think it was The book of life. Awesome song ❣️
There was a performance of this song by Lucas Rossi on the Rock Star Supernova competition show. When he hit that note all the hair on my body stood up. Incredible.
Radiohead is one of the best bands of all time. IMO. I love “Fake Plastic Trees” with the official video. Or “Karma Police”. Both are great. Give it a like if you want a reaction. 🙏✌️💚
Radiohead sings the songs of my youth. Pablo Honey the album this song is from was constantly in my CD player. BBC Radio 1 in the UK actually blacklisted Creep from airplay on the station because they described it as "too depressing to air" Most of their songs from the first 3 albums have incredibly deep lyrics that deal with the human condition, how people see themselves and how they see others. I'd love to see you do Fake Plastic Trees, I think you'll be blown away by the lyrics. As a side note, maybe it's fate but when I grabbed a shirt this morning I picked up my Radiohead T-shirt with "Kicking Screaming Gucci Little Piggy" on it 🤣
Such a great song - one of the soundtracks of my 20s. I have to beg you to check out the cover of this now though, sung by Haley Reinhart and performed with Postmodern Jukebox. It's a mind blowing version - you'll understand when you see it. Thanks, Cliff. Been loving your reactions for a while now.
You’ve definitely heard it somewhere before. Maybe in a movie…I’ve even heard an edited version in the grocery store! Radiohead is def a vibe, this song is pretty different from the rest of their stuff. They’re really great.
Think we've all felt flawed in some way in our lives. One of my favourite tracks I was 11 when it was released and still play it often. You're a top guy Cliff I enjoy your reactions more than most. Keep safe 👍
I love how they make an excellent song or album and then subvert that success with their next release. They could've easily had a Nirvana-ish/grunge type sound, but they evolved and did it quickly.
I think one of the things only age can teach us is that the purity of imperfection is what makes us perfect. All our little twists and bends we find so just horrific about ourselves are some of the things that other people see and go "How do they do that so easy, I wish I could be the talented (smart, sexy, nerdy, passionate, etc) " those uniquenesses are how we're able to fit so well with all the people around us, like puzzle pieces. We're just one unique misfitted part of a much more beautiful construction.
LOVED YOUR REACTION!👏Nobody will ever top Radiohead's original version - it's just not possible. I've heard lots of good covers, but nothing comes near to Thom Yorke's pure raw emotional projection of Radiohead's *MASTERPIECE*......and that's why this song is covered so much! It has been in my top 5 since it was released and it's never left it - I doubt it ever will. PLEASE listen to 'Street Spirit' (Fade Away) by Radiohead.....haunting is an understatement 🖤
Yeah I remember this one when it came out. This is one of those songs that gets covered a lot. You could have heard it anywhere, and from anyone. What I mean by covered is that it gets covered currently. Especially since the 2000's, it seems to be exponentially popular in it's ageing process.
There's not a single song that's not worthy of checking out. Radiohead is top of the charts when it comes to pure poetry, the instruments/sounds all in their proper place, along with Tom's amazing, unique, beautiful singing. So far ahead of their time, and each song has very deep meanings. So, what to check next, there's so freaking many but I suggest Everything in its right place. Yeah, for you and been subscribed to your channel for a long time now that I know what sounds and words will really get you hooked. ❤
Do the Brian Crum version of Creep, from America's Got Talent. It's one of those covers, that outdoes the original. It really is. This is one of my favorite songs, and that is the best version.
This reminds me of the zombie cover done by the bad wolves just days after the singer from cranberries died. She was supposed to record with them but couldn't and so it made an amazing emotion packed cover
Check out the Postmodern Jukebox version of this song sung by Haley Reinhardt, it's a masterpiece. When it comes to mental health, another fantastic song to pay attention to is Metallica's Fade to Black which talks about some very heavy subject matter, but I somehow find it quite uplifting,
Radiohead has such a chill sound. It's perfect if you wanna sit back and relax and listen to something, or if you're stoned(I'm not advocating for anyone to use marijuana, I just won't say anything if you're using it) and want something calm to listen to. Another good song by Radiohead is Karma Police.
Here's another one. I've heard the name Radiohead before just not any of their music. But this is another song I've heard before. This one also gives me movie vibes where I may have heard this before. I'm thinking possibly maybe Rom-Com movie. But I like this one also. Once again I didn't think I would. All it takes is a first listen. 👍🏿
FYI they got sued by the band 'The Hollies' (the original artists) for the song 'The Air That I Breathe' which is absolutely worth a listen. (you did hear it as a kid). Also worth noting that 'Creep' was so influential that 2 other bands had their own takes. The Toadies with their song 'Tyler' and Queens of the Stone Age with 'Can't Quit You, Baby'.
From this same era, but not related, you must react to Alanis Morissette "you oughta know" from Jagged Little Pill, which is dope as h3ll!!! "Ironic" is a fun song, but I'm sure you've heard it already. But the ironic thing about "Ironic" is that it doesn't contain ANY irony!!! "Creep" - Love this song! When it goes hard in the middle with that scratching sound and then heavy guitar riff!!! It's a Classic, for sure!!!!
Enjoy your new Radiohead rabbit hole - this one is as brilliant as Ren's....!! Please do play ANYTHING of theirs but I especially love their 'In Rainbows' album which is just sublime
AH DO MORE RADIOHEAD!!! I’m pretty sure this is thom yorks least favourite lol. Please do something from the “in rainbows” album. Faust arp is my favourite because it’s so out there 💛
Faust arp is such a good song, though I'm partial to Reckoner. I love the lyrics of it and the From the Basement version is a fantastic set and reminds me of seeing them live on both the OK Computer tour at T in the Park 1996 (also had a fantastic set with The Divine Comedy) and Glastonbury 2011 where the did King of Limbs.
Yeah you know the song - you reacted to the PMJ / Haley Reinhart cover about 2 years ago 😄 (and maybe you remember it from the movie The Social Network - Scala & Kolacny Brothers cover). Love your reaction to the original.
Ah, yes. Radiohead. Not the song I personally like, but very popular. Would be great to see your reaction to "exit music (for a film)", "fitter happier" and "paranoid android".
God, this song always hits me.
If you haven't already seen it the live version is even harder
ruclips.net/video/US0CUegPr3g/видео.html
Hits harder
Me too
can I suggest you watch a cover by Almira ( one member of 4th Impact) . just search Almira 4th Impact . Her version will leave you speechless.
Ah, the age old story. The person of your dreams walks in the room, and then you realise they are way out of your league! Great reaction Cliff. Thank you. Shame I spoiled it by singing my lungs out! 😁
That was you singing? Holy shit, I'm just so glad it wasn't me like I thought.
Nah. I ended up marrying the girl that was out of my league.
@@brandenharvey9817 You miss every shot you don't make, good on ya man
One of the all-time classics.
I was at Uni when this came out in the 90s it was brilliant. saw them live at the lemon tree in Aberdeen. Still makes me feel teenage angst at 48 :)
This song still cuts deep.
Yeah a lot of radiohead is deep and meaningful lyrics
my cousin was in a band called deadly tides kill
Incredible song
Incredible ( honest ) reaction
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 !
Yes please more radiohead!!!!
Classic! One of my all times favs. You don't get music like this anymore! Chills!
If you ever get the chance, even if you don't react to it, it is the live version that has (best live performance) in the title.
It's incredible.
Radiohead- Street Spirit Fade Out ❤
Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood! The voice and the backround!!! Best Music ever
This was my favorite song growing up and I regret nothing 🫢😁🥳
If you're going down the Radiohead rabbit hole I'm with you all the way! 😉
Radiohead fucking RULES! "Pyramid Song" is absolutely KILLER!
Check out No Surprises, it's Radioheads best and most emotional song.
One of my favourite songs
Grunge music needs to have a comeback!
Good news Jim Carrey sang Rat in a cage by Smashing Pumpkins at a karaoke bar
Allegedly written about a girl that Thom Yorke liked at university but didn't have the courage to approach. Apparently he doesn't like the song anymore.
One of my favorites of all time!
Paranoid Android is another good Radiohead song. Just be prepared for the video, it's a mind trip.
This was all over the radio throughout the 90's :)
The back story to this song is deep. And one day at a concert he saw the girl he speaks of in the audience. Now he's the star. But we've all been there before; a girl out of our league. He was in love with a girl that blew him off. This was a real, transparent song about his experience.
hey don't mean to be that guy....but he was in a record shop in Exeter(where he went to UNI) when he saw the girl
He never ended up asking the girl, so she couldnt posibly "blow him off". He has never told her, but has said in interviews that she knew who she was
Check out Street Spirit and Karma Police by Radiohead as well.
Really iconic group
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 has Radioheads Creep Song at the beginning of the movie !!! Roquet Rackoon character plays the song at the beguiling of the movie !!
That one gutair note gets me everytime
I just feel like this song perfectly encapsulates how a lot of kids feel in their teen years, but honestly you can feel this song at any age.
Rock band !! All day to this!
this is MY fav Radiohead
Wow takes me back! This is one of my all time favourite songs that I haven’t heard in years! Takes me back to my days when I had depression really bad, but it’s a beautiful song 🖤

I totally understand how you feel 😳
Blast from my college past! Love love love this song. One of my all time favorites.... Radio head is a deep rabbit hole, but they don't sound like this...
Bro, Thanks for the nice reaction.
You should check out his favorite song; How to Disappear Completely.
IF you go down the Radiohead rabbit hole,I'm in...great reaction btw!
Love Radiohead music! Seen them live 👌 next band I see is Muse, can't wait! This song is also in a movie 🤔 think it was The book of life. Awesome song ❣️
Sooooo happy to get some Radiohead in hereee!! 😍 Lotus Flower, 2+2=5, Codex I could go on with requests of their songs lol any and all
There was a performance of this song by Lucas Rossi on the Rock Star Supernova competition show. When he hit that note all the hair on my body stood up. Incredible.
Check out Street Spirit (Fade Out)

Paranoid Android

Stunning vocals. Beautiful song.
❤❤❤great song.... so relatable.... and the 🎸 ❤❤
Green jelly: three little pigs. If for nothing else, the claymation video is quite fun.
Would love more radiohead! Fake Plastic Trees is one of my faves, other than Creep. But they have a TON of greatness
You’ve definitely heard it somewhere before. Maybe in a movie…I’ve even heard an edited version in the grocery store! Radiohead is def a vibe, this song is pretty different from the rest of their stuff. They’re really great.
shoutout to rockband 1, where you have to play this song 1000 times (censored version too)
Man this song always haunts me
Epic song❤👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thom just smashes that guitar so hard and cuts through the entire song. My teen years in both music I listened to and my success levels with girls😂
It's Johnny, he did it to annoy Thom...
@@jimbocurtain he did a good thing then

I'm not a Radiohead fan but I love this song so much. t speaks to me and I feel every word. I know exactly how it feels to be the outsider.

Their masterpiece is the album "Ok Computer." It was released around 1995 and is still unmatched.
You got it...a big part of my " journey" . Music, universal connections love & light 💜🏴🌻

Thanks Cliff!!! Hope you are having a good day. Looking forward to your next reaction.
Great song 😊

try "Karma police". You won't be disappointed.
acoustic version of this was played in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3
Great reaction 👌
You'd hear most songs in commercials.🔴🔴🔴🔴
90s grunge is the best! ❤
This is not grunge at all...
Jonathan Davis from Korn did this as well both are amazing..
Wow you are taking me back now. Took me back to navy days. It was weirdo out cast anthem lol.
Lucifer tv show (piano)
And it was really good!
If you want more Radiohead I'd suggest "Just" , "Paranoid Android" and "Karma Police".
Marshall is my guy. Saved my mind through his lyrics but, this song right hear is one of my Favorites. ❤
This was the soundtrack to my highschool/college years
