- I no longer have it I fixed it and then sold it. It was a carburetor issue along with a bad o ring
my goped sport basically it will start and then stall some times it last a little on idle but it seems to rev really high before it stalls like its not getting gass Авто/Мото
@HyeJroc it dose run now but there is a different problem with it now i think it is the piston ring. and the reason it wouldn't start is because the spark plug wire and the high revving was the throttle screw
I'd say even though it's been sat it's possible it's flood and you need to take the car apart and give it a good clean there's also and little plate that sits under the carb make sure there's no fuel trapped inside it good look hope you sort it mate
Dam bro i had the same problem when i had my ped than i got rid of it goodluck with it
keep on pulling that happen to mine to
So what end up being the problem because mine just started doin the same thing
How did you fixed it Nick? I have Goped and I have the same problem now please help me.
Goped problems yeah I’m having the same issues it’s bogging down I’ll look into the carb again and clean it out again lol as for like high and low screws I only see one at the top that has a needle in it I’ll take another look tho
My GSR is less than two months old. I was riding home yesterday at full throttle and the engine just cut off with just over a half tank of fuel.
Did u never get that thing running right, if so what was the problem?
I have the same problem here and I think it's stuck in first gear and can't shift
try getting a carb rebuild kit from ddm make sure its a full rebuild if that doesnt work try taking the gas tank and fuel lines off and completly cleaning them out and if none of that works rebulid the motor
Mines a push start/sport if it hits any little bump in the road it kills over
Mine idles fine but when I put it on the ground it shuts off wtf
@iNvRG my brother used to have one and said that he never had an air filter on it and it ran fine he is looking at it as well and i had it running at idle speed and it kept running but when i tried to give it gas it started to bog down and try to stall
mine just needs a new spark plug never revved though cant wait to get it tommarow
@skatardude10 no it doesn't need one to run
I just encountered the exact same problem when i went to go ride my goped this afternoon. I am probably just going to buy a new hp car for 50$ and possibly all new gaskets.
Make sure carb isn't backwards. My goped did the exact same thing and when I flipped the carb it finally idled on it's own after starting.
What do you mean by carb backwards
@@pitbikehype5281 word 😂
I've just bought the gsr40 had the same problem it would go and just cut out
Use it like regular scooter push with your foot and use a quarter of throttle it will start that’s what Myn has
I have the same problem pls help me!!
im no expert or anything but i had a problem like this when i first got my ped , it wasnt getting enough air ..is the choke level when it should be ? and if your engine is flooding it can be caused by pressure building up in the gas tank .. drill a small hole in the gas cap and the pressure wont build up ..cleaning your carb would probly help as well ...
I hope you've found your problem by now, but the revving up high and dying is called a lean out. The reason your engine was full of gas was the float needle was stuck open.
Answer to both?
Open the carb up and clean it all out with carb cleaner (wear goggles 8))
Have you had it sitting with gas in it for a long time?(winter, years)
definitely put it back to stock needle settings once it's back together
I'd like to see if my diagnosis is right, so let me know
buy a gasket set, new bearings and some new seals. uve got a leaky gasket/seal somewhere.
did you disconnect fuel lines from the tank.if you did they might be switched
also chk filter see if it firty clogged but it is a carb problem.started fluid u should always have to check spark and or carb
It's the flux capacitor
I have a goped riot 46 and it does the same thing, I was riding it and it felt like it was slowing down ,then it cut off. Now it won't stay on . I can turn it on then get on it , it was goon by itself soon I press the gas it stop??? Any suggestions????
Here's a suggestion. When an engine leans out it becomes less powerful and eventually dies out. My next suggestion would be to clean that carb or replace the carb and clean your fuel system.
Press the gas and pull and then get a flat head screw driver and twest to the hugest rev
Check you manifold or the gaskets.
clean/ rebuild carb
it worked but i guess my screw was too old nd broke with one half stuck in there now im fucked but now i know whats wrong thx
Definitely the carburetor, not spark, plug, or anything like that
Cracked manifold
need help every time i push the gas it slows down it doesnt accelerate
Caron Dennis have the same problem?
turn the carbulator screw to the right a little slowly go up
mine did the samw thing the stick carbs r crap git a walbro
is there even an air filter on that thing?
Skatardude10 some guy what if there is not ?
Play around with the choke a bit. Plus you don't have an air filter
air filter? and try to bump start it my goped wont start on a pull and the best thing i did for my goped is use a better 2stroke oil i use echo oil at a 45 to 50:1 and i always keep air filter clean
adjust the carb
I have the same one U run it2start
Tighten the spark plug. It helps with the compression
i ended up buying a whole new engine i fixed the old one but i kept blowing out my piston rings
This is an old vid/thread, and might sound like a stupid question, (about blowing piston rings), but are you sure the piston is/was put back "Facing" the right way? Most who mess with 2smokers know, but many still don't, if the piston is installed facing the wrong way then when the motor heats up the rings, (along with piston, cylinder, etc) will expand and will end up catching on the exhaust port, which will either break a piece of the ring off, and/or seize up? If still having troubles, or new troubles hit me up. I'll do my best.

Nick030390 iu didn't need to buy a new carb u just needed to clean the jet by taking the screws all of the bottom where the primer is and take all the pieces off and then when you have the parts aside there is 1 jet that you need to clean with carburator cleaner and if it doesn't work then I am doing a video about it soon on my second channel if you watch my videos I am going to do 1 that gives you a link to my second channel
Ok try to tighten up the starting speed screw if the goped doesnt have enough throttle in will bog out and die
Brandon Spain yes but you need to clean the jets on it
Ok both of you are wrong. Scrave not as much. Long story short the idle screw adjusts the throttle valve and how much actual air the engine takes in. Now by doing this it doesn't adjust the jets it only adjusts the running speed the engine would be running at idle so more air means faster rpms without throttle. Next the low speed screw is like idle, being the idle jet of the carburetor, if you richer the needle too much you'll pull too much fuel into carburetor and engine won't start at all. Lastly I wouldn't worry about the high speed needle bc it doesn't draw in fuel unless the carburetors throttle plates, (controlled by the idle screw when it resting), is more then halfway open. Hope this helps a little
Evan Spader-
what about if it starts, idles just fine, but when you rev it, it stalls? thats whats happening to mine. ive tried fuel mixture, and throttle screw, and as well as magneto coil, what do you think it is??
Tune it
Carb and idle
Tune the carb
You have the bigger fuel line on the bigger nipples? Big fuel line is main feeding line, small is the return line. Will make a difference. Also, do not prime it, just use a few extra pulls with just the choke half on but my tank is gravity fed, adjusting your air/fuel maybe and may need to turn the idle screw up a little bit to get that extra boosts on starts.. Good luck.
Also could be getting too much fuel be sure to make sure you didnt put bigger fuel lines on it by accident. it will flood itself out. Check your spark plug and it's gap.
How do I adjust fuel air ratio
@Pervy Sage should be two screws coming out of the carburetor. Adjust each one accordingly while engine is running.
fuel pump diaphragm is ruptured... carb repair kit and cleaning will fix it.
you need a new carb... or a new motor that thing looks beat anyways couple hundred bucks and you will be fast as all hell
Sounds like one of the intake gaskets are ripped and not sealing completely. Get some WD 40 and spray it on the manifold, manifold gasket, and gasket behind the carburetor. If the RPM's go down, that's the issue.
You need to twist the idling pin that's why it's revved up so high is giving too much gas to the carburetor which is making the Piston run too high and you'll probably end up blowing a head gasket or some rain
Where is the idling pin
Put an hp carb on it from geomeyer.com and a rockit key it will advance timing and give more power then it will run fine stop priming it too much you are flooding it
Needs a new carburetor
it's blown bro
In plug it and plug it back in
And you have to much oil in the gas
well you should have an airfilter cuz otherwise you can get dirt and other crap into your engine that can make tons of scratches that will affect the compression
Your transducer is all out of wack
Bruh it's not the transducer it's his ignition timing, ITS THROWN WAY OFF! Let's not even go into his fuel tank how it's 3 degrees off dead center I mean CMON!
your problem is your carburrator trust me i had the same problem it starts revs really high then shuts off its the caarb man get a new one
Your not getting gas
Starting fluid
Since you dont have an air filter you might have got junk on your carburetor. you NEED to run with a fuel filter. Take apart the carb carefully and clean it with gasoline and it should be good hopefully hah
flaots stickin
cdub dilligaf how can u fix this problem
Pump it
Clean ur carb check ur oil
Use starting flued
He said it starts
too much air
Flynn Dennison most likely it's not getting enough fuel. it will get the same amount of air, just it's not getting enough fuel to keep the mixture rich enough.
What do you do if it's not getting enough fuel?
buy a new carburator
Btw your carb is upside down
francisco mcguinness it's fine it actually works better on some carburators
need help every time i push the gas it slows down it doesnt accelerate
sounds like a carb issue
