GoPed and Small Engine Motor Carb Tuning Adjusting

Here’s a simple guide that works great for me on tuning a carb. Settings are different for each carb, but the way you tune it should all be the same. Once running and tuning for peak power/performance your turns on the needles should be smaller. This carb is a WT-990 commonly used on GoPed scooters.

If you close the jets then close the choke almost completely. Then make quarter turns and pull it then repeat you can get a great mixture and really dial it in

I hope this fixes my carb on my losi dbxl 2.0 gas i was stupid when i bought my rc to out of the box messing with the high and low needles after watching this video hopefully i can get my carb right the damn rc shops charge 90.00 per hour highway robbery

813 Is very tricky to tune due to the internal accelerator pump. 990 is same specs but without pump. Try that better

@@MD-tr8fn I figured it out. You just turn it super far left start the motor and it will idle super high. Then you start turning towards the right as it’s idling until you feel it is idling at the right rpm
