Yeah this part always confused me. Does she actually over hear the question? If so it’s not a secret anymore. Or what is the point of her walking in… seems like I’m missing something.
I know she couldn't have heard the conversation since he saw her coming and stopped talking as she entered so gonna guess it was awkward for her while she was in the room and they both were just there quiet and watching her so she felt a little uncomfortable.

I love their conversation in the couch, specialy his smile at 1:47 when he kinda realize/admits that she's right and yes, he's falling for Henry ❤

Rachel was superb as Nora, spot on in al her scenes. Her delivery of lines was as food as it gets.Three dimesional.Has great instincts as an actor. All her mannerisms, Couldn’t imagime anyone else. Wish she was in more of the scenes. They kind of cut her out. Mathew did an excellent job of casting her. It takes good actors to make you believe they are actually friends, not to mention goood dialogue. Hope they release a full uncut movie version.

Perez and Galitzine are wonderful in this film. Much has been said about their chemistry, which is palpable. But neither actor has shown as much heart or honesty in their other work. The difference is the sensitivity of the creative team. Director Matthew Lopez and cinematographer Stephen Goldblatt give them a glowing jewel box to inhabit. With the addition of the intimacy coordinator, Robbie Taylor Hunt, the intensity of Alex and Henry"s relationship materializes on screen. You sense that there was pride and love coming from all departments and that that provided a platform which allowed the two lead actors to become two lead characters that make us laugh and cry and love them. Cynics have attacked the film for not being what they want or think it should be, but that is short-sighted. The achievement of RW&RB is that it is completely what it sets out to be -- a smiling act of hope and love.
You can please some time but you can't all the time. You just have to learn to accept that there are some people that you can't please. But those that you can, appreciate you.

@@mariedeakin1091 they look but they are not! At first I also though that, but if you look close the seams near the shoulders are different. Henry's have kind of a "diagonal" seam, while Alex's has vertical. Also, Alex's have a tiny embroided brand logo and pockets. If you compare this scene with the museum, when Henry is talking about taking someone to dance, you can see they are different :)

Book. The movie was terrible. Just combined characters. Didn’t care that it changed key plot points and made everyone one dimensional
This would have been better served with a miniseries. It's REALLY good, but characters like Nora and Percy deserved more screen time, and the sister and the whole Luna/Richards subplot got written out.

If it’s true there were a lot of scenes cut from this, I hope the uncut version gets a release. I enjoyed this movie a lot, but it felt rushed and incomplete in places.
I didn't feel it felt rushed or incomplete at all. They were very specific with what they filmed to make sure that they got everything they needed.

In Alex's defense, Henry was his guest at the New Year's party, and it was his duty to see that he had a good time and to pay attention to him. And how could he ignore all the young women there when they were quite literally throwing themselves at him?
I like this scene so much more than the one in the book. I don't like book Nora and I hate her reaction in the book, where she's super cold and disinterested, not showing empathy. Book Nora is kind of a robot without feelings while movie Nora is warm and suportive.
