The museum scene always makes me cry because in one gesture, with no words, Alex makes Henry's childhood dream come true and gets Henry to admit his love and promise to be brave. Matthew Lopez picked exactly the right actors for these roles. The chemistry between these two is off the charts.
the chemistry between Nick and Taylor is just delicious! the intimacy is almost embarrassingly realistic. there are moments when I almost feel like I should look away. and Nick's facial expression is so beautifully spot on, and readable that it carries the plot without words. hats off to these two actors for putting it all out there to give us a lovely rom com with so many socially relevant themes rolled into one.
I only saw this film for the first time a week ago, and have watched it over and over again. So, so hard to pick favorite moments, but New Years kiss and red room is high on my list. Also you have to have a very, VERY special chemistry between actors to be able to pull of a love scene like the hotel in Paris. It's beautiful, artistic and so intimate and skinless. I get teary eyed just thinking about it.
Their performances are exquisite academy awards performances. Their love affair is so realistic that one has to be reminded “it’s a performance!” A fantasy! Not a “real” love affair. Not a biography! The depth of emotions are extraordinary. Good job 👏!
Yes it's Oscar-worthy but Nick & Taylor will be snubbed as RWRB is a romcom, not a serious film. I seriously wish one or both of them could be recognised for their fine performances with a few awards.

RWRB is really a must-watch movie of the year. The love story of Alex and Henry is one for the ages, it is very diverse, it is explicit with a touch of respect for an increase intimacy. The natural chemistry and sweetnes of Taylor and Nicholas throughout the screen is very impressive that it will make you feel how the book made you feel. The film and the story itself bypassed the code-switching norm of real-life and fictional characters racially, politically, nationality, culturally, and gender fluidity, which is probably cliche as it may sound but it is a nice stepping stone of subtle suspension of disbelief. Forever grateful for the whole casts and crew for giving us the unexpected loveteam yet one of the best love story in the history.
Strange that this video isn't 2 hours long aka the entire movie. This has become my comfort movie/book, love it so much. Really wishing for a sequel which maybe jumps perspectives between Henry and Alex!
All I wish is for them to read all these comments and know how much people would love them again on screen together. This movie was so fresh it makes me sad it ended too soon.

I cant recall in my adult life ANY movie that has grabbed me like this. I subscribed to Prime purely because I wanted to see this movie having seen a few snippets of previews. In only a few weeks I have watched it 5 times, the latest, last night with my partner. The entire movie is exceptional from beginning to end with just the right mix of humour and tender moments. I've seen a few deleted scenes that were equally as good.. roll on the sequel!

That will never happen. DVDs still have their place, and I will gladly pay my money for them provided they are filled with extra content.
I had low expectations before watching the film and was already thinking that...I will just give it my first 15 minutes...but it got me hooked...it is now one of my favorite films...😍

And then I realised I had felt the same thing again while watching another masterpiece: call me by your name. This movie is the most beautifully directed and written of 2023, a seriously underrated creation. Watching these 2 young actors play their part beautifully to create a story which I believed to be true for a good 2 hours was breathtaking and beautiful. I'm going my way through the end of the book. The characters' personalities are bit different than the ones from the movie. Both are awesome though. Chapter 12 made me emotional. When crowds support Alex and Henry despite what the royal family thinks is more detailed and people used sentences from the leaked e-mails to make t-shirts and there were crowds in the US, hashtag #freeHenry treding. Fantastic!!

I loved and love every moment, minute of this "film" or rather of this extraordinary LOVE, with these two wonderful boys who, with their absolutely extraordinary chemistry, made me fall in love with them, made me laugh, but apart from the collapse of the cake they managed to move so many sensations: the emotion, the eyes full of tears of Henry (Nichy) (Holy God but how extraordinary is that boy!!!), and what about those minutes in which they make love with a sweet , a concern from Alex towards Henry who looks at him fearing he might feel pain), Henry who reassures him with a nod and with those eyes in which one could drown that deep, very sweet and tender gaze. Since August 11th I have been unable to look at anything else (indeed I go back to rewatch the scenes and not miss a moment; the exchange of Henry's ring with the key to Alex's Austin house moved me to tears (it was like an exchange of wedding vows in my eyes) but everything, everything is absolutely wonderful. I only regret the deleted scenes (why on earth? ) and a desire that I believe I share with millions of people around the world: sequels!!! Matthew, Casey, Nicholas, Taylor but also Nora and the sweetest B, Henry's only ally, and Zahra, Shaan, Amy, Percy, Oscar Diaz, the president of the USA (we don't need Miguel alone) even his majesty ' who in the end understood that it wasn't the English people but him who was wrong. But everyone else was wrong!!! We beg you on your knees give us the sequels and the uncut version!!!...Alex and Henry are now OURS...we need them every day!!!!❤🤍💙❤🤍💙

I loved and love every moment, minute of this "film" or rather of this extraordinary LOVE, with these two wonderful boys who, with their absolutely extraordinary chemistry, made me fall in love with them, made me laugh, but apart from the collapse of the cake they managed to move so many sensations: the emotion, the eyes full of tears of Henry (Nichy) (Holy God but how extraordinary is that boy!!!), and what about those minutes in which they make love with a sweet , a concern from Alex towards Henry who looks at him fearing he might feel pain), Henry who reassures him with a nod and with those eyes in which one could drown that deep, very sweet and tender gaze. Since August 11th I have been unable to look at anything else (indeed I go back to rewatch the scenes and not miss a moment; the exchange of Henry's ring with the key to Alex's Austin house moved me to tears (it was like an exchange of wedding vows in my eyes) but everything, everything is absolutely wonderful. I only regret the deleted scenes (why on earth? ) and a desire that I believe I share with millions of people around the world: sequels!!! Matthew, Casey, Nicholas, Taylor but also Nora and the sweetest B, Henry's only ally, and Zahra, Shaan, Amy, Percy, Oscar Diaz, the president of the USA (we don't need Miguel alone) even his majesty ' who in the end understood that it wasn't the English people but him who was wrong. But everyone else was wrong!!! We beg you on your knees give us the sequels and the uncut version!!!...Alex and Henry are now OURS...we need them every day!!!!❤🤍💙❤🤍💙
