Used to play this so much back in the day in elementary school. Would always be a race to whoever could select the Lightning first even though we were cheeks back then. So much nostalgia.
The checks in this game are hilarious. If you go full speed you can absolutely destroy someone and it's really loud lol. Plus if you check someone out of the screen, it's even louder and it's funny
it really isn't. pc gamers are still stuck with this abortion as the last installment of the series. it's horrible and was outdated by several years at the time of its release, let alone now. i wish they could've at least given us a port of the 360/ps3 version before abandoning the platform, that one has held up much better over the years
It's such a shame this was the last NHL PS2 game. Absolutely fantastic and still better than many of the PS3/PS4/PS5 NHL games... EDIT: Only thing that makes me annoyed about this game is the easy cross pass one timer goal. Also seemed like because of that the difficulty to play against AI was way easier than in the previous games

Socom is one of the only games still online ps2 and I think there’s other game other than socom fan made servers

@@jhncsnrs I've tried so many NHL games on both the ps3 & 360 emulators on the Deck and none so far run well for me.
