They said the girl is the Walpurgis in her magical girl form, but I don't think so. There's no way Walpurgis' Magical Girl looks like a 98% fusion of the Holy Quintet, who is even using Homura's weapon. My theory is that she is a non-existing girl who somehow became existing based on memories of the Holy Quintet so the fusion thing more make sense. Plus, notice how she does not look like a real living person; she looks like she doesn't even talk. I bet she doesn't even have a soul gem. After all, she is not a real living person but a magical girl composed or made from memories which is highly possible, a magical girl existing based on memories already happened before like how Wraith Madoka existed who fought and saved others.
I think this is more closer to the truth than the theory of that girl being the Walpurgis in her magical girl form. Let me pin this so we can see more discussion about your theory ^_^

@@minci__ yeah, I don't think they're going to add a new mg at this point I also read that she could be a wraith, because they steal memories(? I'm not sure, I haven't read the Wraith arc yet
@@kanorune I agree. I will tell you more about wraiths, but of course [warning] , there will be some spoilers . In the manga, Homura's red ribbon, which she was given by Madoka in the Rebellion movie, was stolen by a wraith. When that wraith acquired the ribbon, it became a literal copy of Madoka. It is still a wraith, but 90% Madoka's personality, such as her desire to save others and her selflessness, was reflected in that wraith. Homura even almost treated her as if she were the real Madoka. If you google "Wraith Madoka" you will see how cute she is. So its also possible that the unknown girl in the trailer is a Wraith, since the wraith was also shown in the trailer, but this time, a fusion memories of Holy Quintet. Honestly, I think that's more closer to the truth than the theory of that girl being the Walpurgis in her magical girl form. But, well, if she is not a wraith, I still believe that she is not a real living person. She kind of looks powerful but also seems kind of lifeless, like a magical girl without a real soul
MORE THINGS TO POINT OUT OTHER THAN THE BACKGROUND WORDS WHEN MADOKA FLOATS. In the very first scene where homura stands there are 3 things to point out. 1. There are butterflies stuck with a pin. This is a very common thing in entomology and most specifically in butterfly collection boards. This is a symbol (imo) of how Homura preserved and separated/stole the body/carnal (memory) aspect of madoka/the law of cycles in the movie. Keeping it dear to her and as a thing to admire forever as thats the type of affection/"love" homura feels for Madoka. 2. There is a globe as you see. The half of it is futuristic looking like a city and the other half looks like the moon or as if it has flowers on it. Around it there these circular marked/divided plaques. They are very reminecent of a goniometer that use in school to count degrees and as a ruler. It is also close to it because it has 2 rows; one with more tightly drawn lines and one with further drawn ones. The centre also looks like the centre of the instrument too. I think those indicate that Homura is the ruler (pun) and creator of the new world. 3. There is also a frame that kinda, if you squint maybe, looks like an hourglass. On top there is "XVIII" written. That is the number 18 in latin numerals. Is it maybe the times she had to go back or reset the world? It must mean something... In the very next scene homura sits upon a lizard statue which was the way she was depicted metaphorically in the movie. It is also adorned with homuras wings and a type of bow with the number 8 on it (maybe ties up with the previous thing?) her past weapon. All around her are artistry reminecent of soul gems and coiled lamps. The following scenes are a blast from the past. The words popping are basucally the backstory of the Walpurgisnacht. One interesting thing it says is "In the past this existence brought hope and eventually scatters curses - The law of Cycles" I think Homura remade the world not benefiting magical girls. Remember in the movie she told Kyubey "now you are needed to collect the curses spreaded across the world" of course its not verbatim. Those are all results from resetting the universe with the opposite energy of madoka who became goddess, as homura turned into the ultimate witch. It also says "I want to see you one more time." " This world is built for madoka." Homuras first wish and, probably, Homuras next wish as the Devil. The call is pretty self explanatory. It's made by an unknown magical girl, almost threating Homura to release Madoka and bring JUST hope this time around, being mad at the devil. ("The only thing you have to do is bring 'love'" "What nonsense, Miss/Lady Devil!) The girl, calls Madoka, probably, her best friend. Its also the reason why it might be the new girl, who also might be Walpurgisnacht. As Madoka finally ended her suffering of being the worst witch freeing her into the heavens. On the other hand it might be Sayaka (doubt it, as thats not her voice) or someone else. At 0:38 there are some shoes left on an edge (school shoes even). That is pretty typical of Japanese people who commit su1c1d€ via h@ng1ng or f@ll1ng, leaving their shoes behind (it was even in tge qst season!) . As we see Madoka floating having the glitch thing as the "programmer of the previously new world" or as the all powerful anomaly in Homuras new new world. The words behing I've excplained in a previous comment. Now the girls scene is the most earth shattering thing in the whole video. Who is she? She is being ambused by a sea of red threads. Threads are usualy a depiction of fate, in ancient greece especially, who the three Fates spun into a human life. In Japan it is said an invisible red thread connects the pinky fingers of two soul mates. Except for the reason i said above it might be the new girl due to the said sea of threads. Walpurgisnacht is said to be the combination of multiple witched into one. Essentially the girl is now taking contol of her fate as she courageously and even outstandingly grabs onto the the read threads that now form a single mass. So multiple fates/lives connect into one Walpurgisnacht/the new girl wanting to be free again and taking life in her own hands, not letting Homura take away her deserved good ending Next few scenes are the newly built city as an analogy of the newly built world. At 0:56 Madoka is passing from a few flower arches. One is red roses symbol of love. The other is passion flowers who are symbolised as the "passion of Christ upon the Cross". Passion in Greek isn't only passionate love but also the ecclesiastical word used for the meriad of Jesus' sufferings during the Great week of Easter. On the other hand, as another commenter (@SugarCub) said without who i wouldnt be able to distinguish, the statue behind Homura is that of the Asphodelus flowers, symbol of death, regret and of the end of love. They were planted during ancient greece, near graves as legend said that the dead souls' food was the fruit of the flower and that they are roaming in fields made of said flower. All which are my addition to the comment as they explained the rest beautifully. After that we see the new putfits of the 3/5 of the holly quintet. The one notable being Sayaka. After a conversation i had with someone who tried to make the extended version of the ost in this vid, in the scene where sayaka is playful with madoka, you can failtly see a bandage covering her neck. Now i wonder, is this Homuras way of reversing Sayakas wish (as Sayaka is like an angel of madokas and against Homuras reign). Her playing a cruel joke as she receives a type of illness her love had in the previous world as Sayaka starts to forget? Or maybe reversing her talent. Remember due to her wish being of the healing kind, she had the power too heal quickly and recover in battle. I cant further think more on that. And finally. Homura holds a fabric that turns into papers on top of a wooden chair, Kyubey's eyes flashing. We see a whole tower made of paper and being chained up. What you may have not seen is that there are at least 2 more homuras and some clara dolls standing on the periphery of the tower. . The towers of papers us also shaped like a single, eternal piece of chain and on the bottom is queen homura sitting on her throne, thinking and thinking and struggling... !IMPORTANT NOTE PLEASE READ A BIT MORE FOR THE LOVE OF MADOKAMI! WATCH THE JAPANESE VERSION THAT I WILL RECITE HERE! IT HAS A SMALL EPILOGUE THAT I WILL ALSO TRY AND EXPLAIN! The Kyubey are once again needed, maybe being manifestations of Madoka now. The goddess or part of her turns back into a magical girl having memory gaps, fighting in this world for universal and eternal hope once again. (It may also be that Kyubey in the movie were trying to investigate the truth behind the law of cycles. Now knowing the truth, if homura didnt wipe their memory, try to yet again perserve the universe, maybe in the old fashioned way too.) Hi, first, I converted the trailer into an MP3 and downloaded it. After that, I used an application called Audacity to chop and separate the voices and music. Then, I combined all the music I wanted and looped them with correct timing. I'm not a pro so It took me a while to properly loop it without noticeable glitch sound, but that's all ^_^
My personal (and probably wrong) theory is that Walpurgis is Homura's witch, maybe like the fusion of many Homuras from all the different timelines she exists in. Since PMMM's world is a maze and mindf*kery of timelines and rewritten worlds, it might be possible for this to be real? Sort of like a paradox. If Walpurgis really is Homura's witch, the implications would be terrible. She'd be the origin of all her and Madoka's grief and painful destiny. Whatever the truth may be, I really can't wait for this movie to come out!!
I really don't think that's the case. Walpurgisnacht exists one way or another in all the timelines. Plus, nothing about Walpurgisnacht had previously suggested any connection to Homura's damaged psyche so it's a huge stretch. Plus we know Homura's witch form is Homulilly and we see it in Rebellion.
My crack theory is that Walpurgis is a witch made of other witches leftovers, product of the conflict; THE PARADOX, that implies both wishes from Madoka and Homura.
@@isauldron4337 Except Homucifer is completely out of everyone's league rn, not unless plot armor comes up, no one is touching her. And slapping her over Incubators is a crazy thought

The "new girl" is just Madoka: She has all the powers from all the magical girls using Homura's colors. Homura became "love", therefore the magic of magical girls - which is the power of "love", has become Homura's. At the same time, Homura's love is reserved for Madoka alone, which is why she has all the power...
Great thoughts! I really had the same thoughts as yours, but her physical appearance, hair color, chest size, and even her elegance don't really match Madoka. I would say she is more like 90% Mami in the way she dresses and the way she moves (Madoka also has her own elegance but more like a bit childish unlike Mami), but I know she can't be Mami specially when Mami only uses muskets. So I don't really think she is one of the Holy Quintet. Instead, I think she is someone like Wraith Madoka, but I'm not saying she is a wraith, but rather, it's a similar concept to how Wraith Madoka managed to exist, which is through memories.
@@Nikolai4567 like future Madoka? sorry but still no, remember in Magia Record, even if its a game, they already showed us how they look like in the near future, Madoka will still be flat. Unless they will entirely change it which is I really doubt that

I’ve hyper analyzed the crap out of this trailer and my only thought is that Homura could potentially be the Walpurgisnacht bc she broke the original cycle meaning the origins of the Walpurgisnacht could have changed. Also in the description of the Walpurgisnacht it mentions how it’s nature is that of helplessness and the symbol of a fool going round and round, this could all be pointing to Homura’s character. She’s helpless bc she can’t save Madoka no matter what she tries and she represents the fool who keeps going “round and round” bc she keeps repeating the cycle. It’s also to be noted that one of the Walpurgisnacht’s biggest features are the cogs at the top of it. Clocks have always been associated with Homura. It may be a stretch but it’s possible
I guess its way more than that. I think Homura has taken on the role of Kyuubey. She answers the phone, grants wishes to girls and turns them into magical girls that way.
I’m so ready to see our girls either succeed or die lmao!! Also why is my sweet baby Sayaka Miki in wraps?! She looks badass but still!! All in all I’m ready for this triumph and headache lmao!!
I still believe that the silver hair girl in the trailer is Oriko. It kinda makes sense. Since she's the only few who can remembered Homura's timeloop due to her able to see the future.

Man, do I wish we had an actual release date, so I can taper my expectations a little if anything.... Where is kyubei when you need him lol
Well it is said it will be released this winter in Japan. But that is just a speculation though... Hopefully it's true because it's been a long way coming!

BRO THIS SONG IS LIT THANK YOU
Goosebumps all over
Thanks! Song is a banger, and I wanted to listen to it right after trailer
I believe that girl might be Ai, the 15th Clara Doll (Homulilly's familiars)
After all, the Clara Dolls are as strong as a Magical Girl
nice thought, I'm not sure if she is really AI, but I also believe that she is not a real living person, someone mentioned here in the comment that she doesnt look like a real living person the way she was shown in the trailer and I agree
@@minci__ yeah, I don't think they're going to add a new mg at this point
I also read that she could be a wraith, because they steal memories(?
@@minci__ she could also be Nagisa, but more powerful at the cost of her youth.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!
Remember everything, being meguca is suffering, and we're gonna be reminded of this again with this movie

Omg thank you!!!
One interesting thing it says is "In the past this existence brought hope and eventually scatters curses - The law of Cycles"
I think Homura remade the world not benefiting magical girls. Remember in the movie she told Kyubey "now you are needed to collect the curses spreaded across the world" of course its not verbatim. Those are all results from resetting the universe with the opposite energy of madoka who became goddess, as homura turned into the ultimate witch. It also says
"I want to see you one more time."
" This world is built for madoka."
Homuras first wish and, probably, Homuras next wish as the Devil.
So multiple fates/lives connect into one Walpurgisnacht/the new girl wanting to be free again and taking life in her own hands, not letting Homura take away her deserved good ending
Next few scenes are the newly built city as an analogy of the newly built world.
Now knowing the truth, if homura didnt wipe their memory, try to yet again perserve the universe, maybe in the old fashioned way too.)

Yuki kajiura can make great soundtracks
Thank you, I have been trying to find this song to listen to it over
so fast very thanks❤❤❤
Thank you so so much. I'm extremely curious, how did you extract the song from the trailer?
Hi, first, I converted the trailer into an MP3 and downloaded it. After that, I used an application called Audacity to chop and separate the voices and music. Then, I combined all the music I wanted and looped them with correct timing. I'm not a pro so It took me a while to properly loop it without noticeable glitch sound, but that's all ^_^

It's about time
"Loads madokami religion pamphlets"
They just delayed it to winter 2025... Was supposed to come out winter 2024.
Hopes crushed again. I waited 10 years... I can do 11...
Finally ! The extended version !
You're doing the Goddess' work.
May She lend you Her strength and gird your soul against despair.
I really hope Sayaka truly becomes the hero she always wanted to be and kills or otherwise punishes Homura.
Sayaka at least should slap homura hard until she apologizes

The "new girl" is just Madoka:
She has all the powers from all the magical girls using Homura's colors.
Homura became "love", therefore the magic of magical girls - which is the power of "love", has become Homura's.
At the same time, Homura's love is reserved for Madoka alone, which is why she has all the power...
I dont think so, just look at her chest. Even when Madoka became Madokami, she is still flat as hell.. wait should I say flat as heaven
@@SweetLapucelle time fixes this issue. I expect a time skip after all the wraiths have been eliminated…
Unless they will entirely change it which is I really doubt that
@@minci__ It might be wraith Madoka, or Madoka after she fell into the wraiths. But it would be horrible if it’s Mami or some completely new girl

Same lol. I discovered madoka when I was like 10, but didn't really watch the anime till I was 12-13 because of the whole "it may seem cute but it's really dark!!" Thing. I used to think that everyone died in the final episode or something. however at some point when I was in the seventh grade (6th grade for Americans btw) I just gave up and decided to watch it and now after a few years I'm a huge fan of the magical girl genre and I can thank madoka for introducing it to me lol
0:43 顎のあたり、うまい具合に重なって涙を流してるみたいに見えてゾクッと来た
Trailer and the music is so hype.
She answers the phone, grants wishes to girls and turns them into magical girls that way.
best. my heart is breaking
Nice I've been looking for this
