Something to mention is that the ac lines should be flushed and the orifice filter changed out. The system should be fully cleaned out before being recharged. This will help prevent premature failure of the new ac compressor.
I generally drain the factory placed pages oil and add 3oz green pag with UVDye never had an issue yet of course if I do I have done the preventative step with the dye to find the leak . Anyway well done on the video definitely flush the system it works
Well done video’ know the feeling can’t afford that right now.
Well done, great step by step.
Thanks for stopping by
Thanks for showing and your efforts. Will definitely help for this upcoming project. 👍
Your welcome. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video that shows work being done, not just a bunch of talking about how to do it.

I'm looking into ordering a compressor on Amazon. How did this one work for you?

Did you have to unbolt the sway bar to get the old compressor out and the new one in?
I did not
The new AC comes with some sort of oil inside. I’m guessing is so that internals don’t rust. Does that pile need to be drained before installing
The oil that came in mine was the oil required for the system, I installed it with the oil in it.

How did you remove the belt?
How you flushing the lines and putting back to work
If you don't have the machine to evacuate/fill the system, a local shop that does a/c work can do that for a small fee
Any updates on the compressor?
It's still working good so far.
