There is no Freon in my system it’s down to 0 pressure, but when I turn the A/C on, the clutch on the compressor will still engage, is my compressor bad?
My ac blows cold but when I turn it on there is a loud buzzing sound. Do you have any suggestions?
could be your clutch not fully engaging or "pulling in"
clutch engages, freon ok. No cold air, can compressor be bad while clutch working? thank you
Yes, absolutely. The pistons or valves could be bad. Take a look at the video ruclips.net/video/2_upKt_52xg/видео.html it will help you understand what can go wrong.
PAG oil on sticker says PAG 20. Pag oil on the compressor(new one) said PAG 46. So which oil is it ? and no the sticker does not give PAG oil amount either
You need to go with the compressor because it is the only thing that needs oil. Synthetic polyol ester (POE) is used for all 134-A freon. The PAG 46 is an auto-grade oil. 134-A is also used in refrigeration.
What was your ac doing?
Not getting cooled
@@Glennfix mine blows heat for about 5 seconds when letting off the gas and the. Blows cold again. Any ideas
It could be low on freon. It sounds like it is shutting off because of low or high pressure. Some cars just do that. The compressor is running fast, then it slows down, and it just takes time for the freon to equalize.
@@Glennfix Thanks a lot. So this means I’m losing Freon somewhere?
